I grew up seeing photographs from this ballet thinking it had such an other worldly quality, Jennifer Penney's gorgeous balletic line added to it's mystery. Now, finally seeing this ballet danced live, those iconic pictures have come to life, thank you for posting this. The dancing and choreography are all amazing, Macmillan's gifts are his acrobatic partnering and lifts, his inventions never fail to impress. The music however is a little to atonal and ear piercing for my taste and could be argued, is not well suited for ballet. Perhaps after repeated viewing's I'll warm up to it. Nonetheless, what a great ballet film.
