    I agree that the key is having a chill approach. I’ve tried to setup Obsidian a few times over the years and I keep walking away from it. Your video is a great refresher on the simplicity of the application. Thanks for the reminder - I’m going to give it a go again.

    Important to note that Obsidian is NOT free the moment you take a note that can relate to your Work (if commercial and more than 2 employees). They require a $50/year commercial license. A bummer but devs gotta eat.

    what the name of the custom callout plugin?

    • @viktoriabraun4090
      @viktoriabraun4090 6 дней назад +1

      It looks to me like he actually just used the built-in callouts. However, some themes for Obsidian actually have a set of styles for common callouts. The most popular one that I can think of is the minimal theme (it also has a corresponding plugin called minimal theme settings). For more intense callouts, people usually use the plugin called admonitions.

    • @reysu
      @reysu  4 дня назад +1

      @ Just using obsidian is a complication in itself, lol, do you think Elon Musk uses obsidian? They are just useless tools that create friction between you and your ideas. If productivity enthusiasts didn't talk about obsidian or use it, would you use it? That's the real question

    • @reysu

      idgaf about other productivity enthusiasts lol - whether or not elon musk uses this has no impact on whether or not its helpful for me

      @reysu  4 дня назад

      what makes it way better?

    • @danh5637
      @danh5637 4 дня назад

      @ you encode the information to your mind better with a handwritten system. And it also forces you to be brief and concise and focus on the most important parts. Also it turns you into a super genius with prolific output such as its inventor Niklas Luhmann. Scott Scheper wrote a great book on Antinet. I would recommend reading it before you fully commit to bubblegraph or digital systems. He has some videos on here too I believe. He’s slightly annoying however. But with reason.

    • @danh5637
      @danh5637 4 дня назад

      @ also I should add others like Ryan Holiday and Robert Greene use a very similar although not exactly Zettelkasten, analog notes system. Everywhere it’s applied success seems to flourish. All I see from the digital guys is them talking endlessly about their tags and their ever changing apps. It seems like it leads to the opposite of its intended purpose. Same with people using notion. Instead of taking productive action. They spend huge chunk of their time managing and pruning their productivity system. Which seems somehow ironic.
