Shaving a 26 lbs Cat

Welcome back to my cat grooming salon! Today's friend is Milo, he's an 8 year old cat who weighs in at almost 26lbs! Don't worry, mom is working on his diet to get him down to a better weight. In this video, he'll be getting a Lion Cut, bath and blow dry. This helps to prevent him from getting matted, since his coat is very thick when it is grown in, and especially larger cats sometimes need help to keep their underside and rear end tidy too.

Hi, i always wondered if shaving a cat during winter time would make them be more cold especially during this harsh winter we’ve been having in nj when it’s difficult to keep the house warm? Love your content ❤

I'm also in NJ! As long as they aren't going outside, cats are pretty good at seeking out warmth if they need it - snuggling under the covers, sitting by the heating vent, etc.
