      Dark 3.12. The section that kicks in at 1:44 to 2:50 gives me goosebumps as it progressess towards the end, always.

      “Dark 3.16” is my favorite song of all time. “Dark 2.10”, “Dark 2.8”, “Dark 3.13”, “Dark 3.12”, “Dark 1.6”, and “Dark 4.18” all come extremely close, though-but I’m biased towards their second and third albums in particular.
      I mean, it’s basically one of those bands whose every song is your favorite anyway.

    Darkspace and Paysage D'Hiver are probably my favourite bands/projects. Riffs may be simple but composition is excellent.

    2:10 or so sounds like something Fear Factory would write. Cool!

  • @kadestorm
    @kadestorm 3 года назад +2

    Yet another great lesson. Very good piece of advice about getting more resonance out of the palm mutes by moving the muting hand into that sweet spot over the bridge. It's easier to navigate on a standard tune-o-matic bridge, but one can develop that instinct on floating bridges like the Floyd Rose and the Kahler as well.
    By the way, the amp sounds excellent. Congrats.

    Hello. Can you recommend an amp sim good enough in order to get a similar sound with Paysage d'Hiver. I have tried using Bogren Digital One Amp Knobs, Archtype Nolly from Neural DSP, but for whatever reason it sounds way too modern even after cutting some specific frequencies in the EQ. I kinda want to create my own tone but I like the washed out / Raw tones and for whatever reason is hard to create them. Any tips? Unfortunatelly I can't buy a real amp since I have no space in order to record that.

    • @DevGohil
      @DevGohil  3 месяца назад

      It might be worth trying a few different IRs? I’ve got closeish to the paysage sound with my IRs and Archtype gojira tones

      @@DevGohil great, thanks. I’m already using 11-56 for D standard, and that’s probably a little heavier than necessary although I’m used to them. When I go to C# I’ll stick with those.
