I like that other companies are following what lian Li did with their fans, and I especially like Phanteks have a reversible option to still see the front.
Oh man i just got a white NV7! IM SOOOO STOKED. People all complain about the big forhead space above the motherboard...but i can only assume those complainers DONT want a cool Sensor LCD panel to go there :) its honestly the PERFECT case IMO, not to mention the hidden cable panel in the back and the slanted base so we can see our beautiful fans a bit better.....Oh and for RGB, whats not mentioned here is for another 50 bux you can get the 4 piece rgb kit for this case which ads a led bars along the border of all the glass!
Totally agree I have the NV7 and I bought the expensive GPU bracket which has the built in RGB strip to compliment the lighting around the motherboard, and I am waiting for the Phanteks NV7 Premium DRGB LED Kit in White that goes around the whole frame of the case.
Your case review actually showed me more about the case than other videos I've watched about it. Also I didn't know they had new reservoirs this year to go with the case.
What type of cable management is posible with the back storage being so small. Look how small the example shown for the power supply is and how little room there is for a larger power supply with all the CPU , GPU and SATA cables that would be needed to be plugged in to the PSU
NV7 looks really damned good... just kinda wish I could flip the orientation of the case so it could be set on the left or right side of the desk, Prob the only thing I'd want to add tho, otherwise a nice iteration on that O11-style design.
If the NV7 is below $250, i'll probably buy it without second thought. Been a fan of Phanteks since i bought the original Enthoo Primo and they have rarely let me down. Had to repair two of their cases, damage caused to them was very likely user mistake both times. Broken mounting for a front panel on the Primo and broken power switch assembly/pcb on the Evolv X, Phanteks support replied to my emails within half a day every day and sent me spareparts both times, free of charge, despite knowing that the damage wasn't on them. Definitely the type of company i like to support.
well one thing that most of these companies ( not Lian Li) figured out is how to mount vertical GPU and still use other PCI-e x16's on your motherboard without any mods
They just emailed me they have the case for pre-order on their website with 3 or 6 pack of there new fans the D30 reverse or regular flow options. they sold out within couple of hours. I order the mine just in time. white one looks awesome guess I'm returning my 011 Lian li dynamic Xl to Newegg i got yesterday.
While the NV7 isn't my type of aesthetics for a case, it still looks great, but more importantly Phanteks has some real innovation here as to usability and that is just Phan-tastic! Hopefully some of these new ideas will become more commonplace, like the rear panel cable management features.
As a pc builder that has been a phanteks user for a number of years I can say that I absolutely love the new products and wish that I could have been in Vegas to see them in person.
Phanteks now do it again but put the PSU at the bottom (still on the right side, still flush) with the MB 'above' it, and I think that's a home run, less top heavy that way, less distance for power cord to outlet most of the time, but very nearly a fantastic complete package.
Looks amazing but if this turns out like the Enthoo Evolve it'll end up costing $2000+ currently Amazon has Enthoo Evolve $699+ hope they don't discontinue this shortly after launch.
Not gonna lie, I was genuinely shocked at the price of the NV7. I thought for sure that thing was going to be $250 minimum & then seeing the hinges I thought it'd be even more. That price they're asking tells me they're seriously invested in that tooling & I suspect those various little features are going to trickle down to future options.
85 bucks for a 3pack fans WITHOUT A CONTROLLER? Nah bruh! Lian li all the way.. they are not even pretty compared to the sl120s infinity. In 6 months after realease they will be 50% off in every retailer
@@robertthomson1994 oh yeah? Have you built with 12+ fans? I did.. that mobo header has a limit on the number of leds. Even the corsair rgb fan hub which is sata powered cannot handle more than 3-4 ql fans because of the number of leds
@@user-yp1gs8vz2l or... it is ugly. My case is a Phanteks 719, for reference. That is a case that you can do a lot with. These Lian Li copies have only one way to build in them.

There should be more horizontal motherboard cases, to relieve the tension on PCIe connectors cause of those giant GPUs.

Loving the on site content. The small camera rig worked out great!
That outro was straight 🔥🔥🔥
Great looking products from Phanteks as always!
Would anyone please refer to me where exactly the GPU was on that second white case with open loop. Bit tricky for me ha, thank you 😊

i'm just here for the bloopers 🤘
What are the materials NV7 made of ?
The Phanteks NV7 is awesome. I'd love to do an open loop in one.
I would actually love to use my x570 Aqua with my EVGA Hydro copper card in that build and a Arctic Loop themed build
Do you know their RPM?

It can be $500 Idgaf I'm buying it!
Will probably get the NV7....Just looks so good and extermly practical to boot.
Great RGB link idea, similar to Lian li SL 120 fans. The reverse design is a fantastic idea

The thumbnail on this vid is exactly why this is my first video of the day LOL.
How did they mount that distro/pump?
Looks like they spaced it away from the rear fan mount somehow and removed a bracket.
I know this is 9 months later lol but I emailed them what standoffs they used and its M4x20mm+6mm
NV7 cases look awesome 👍
Love the nv7! I was going to do the o11d evo. But now switching.... 😊
gpu cables don't hit front glass like evo does!

Great phanteks products this year
Phanteks make some excellent cases.

I would like to copy that water loop
The reversible fans is an idea that is a long time coming
I love Phanteks' design. Their GPU blocks look the best and performance is top notch.
I wasn't really fan of these "aquarium" cases but the NV7 I like. It just looks slimmer and cleaner than the O11.
Looks amazing but if this turns out like the Enthoo Evolve it'll end up costing $2000+ currently Amazon has Enthoo Evolve $699+ hope they don't discontinue this shortly after launch.
This is my new case.
you crack me up man
Love the case, i dont hope price will be too steep.
$220 msrp
that's my next case.
I never caught on that case design. To me, the best case ever made to this date hands down is the Fractal North.
Phanteks NV7 now March release date

nice
GIVE IT TOO ME
that giant open spot above the mobo bothers me, think its a 120mm fan too high, personally wouldnt buy one for that reason alone
So you want everything cramped looking like a shitbox instead
Price, price and price in US dollars because this is the case to own on 2023. Designed by AI, maybe.
kinda amazing how a builder could make such high end hardware look so shit. Phanteks should fire that guy

“That’s what she said 🤓”
There right then thermal and everything is getting bigger so perfect
