This is definitely one of my favorite videos I've ever made. I know so many of you guys are going through what I talk about in the video, so I hope this can teach you a little something or help you if you're struggling through the grind right now. I'll be answering as many comments as possible on this video so please ASK AWAY if you got questions! Cheers to an amazing 2024 for all of us! :)
I played in the LLWS this year and I have been watching your vids and I see other peoples perspective on baseball and I see where you come form so I just turned 13 and you showed my that you go all in and it will take you some where so keep up the work and I’ll be there so see you get to 1 million subscribers soon ❤ P.S I’m Christian Nuñez and I live in PA so not that far away from you if you want I could be in a video sometime” just comment on one of my vids and then we can talk more” all love❤❤
Hey this video really helped me because I was going through it today my velo has been dropping when I’m trying so hard and it’s so frustrating but seeing this video is gonna make me keep trying as hard as I can because even if baseball doesn’t work I probably will fine something else through it and baseball gives you memories worth playing for but I’m gonna be waiting to see 90 so you keep trying too
You're killing it man, I didn't even realize you were 21 until this video. To accomplish what you have already is incredible, I wish I would have been as proactive as you in High School.
I turned 23 last week and relate.. injuries ruined my track career and was so obsessed. I sadly was never the same. Schools stopped calling was forgotten so fast.
Dude this video is sick! Nice to see the shifts in your mentality as you age and progress with baseball. As a junior in high school it's cool to see how hard work can really pay off if you work on your goals and stay focused on improvement. I'm a Canadian baseball player so its also been one of my goals to play college somewhere nice in the states, and to see you accomplish that motivates me to work my butt off. Keep up the grind 🙏
As someone who has lived in southern Cali my whole life, I understand how beautiful it is, and the fact that you also believe that especially with your platform has made me want to continue baseball as a sport. Last year, my sophomore year of high school I wasn’t the best but not I’m one of my teams star pitchers, middle infielders, and batters and I want to follow almost the same path at you. Thanks for the inspiration man!
Ok, Dan, you are a great talker with a pleasant demeanor, so you should be able to make a good living along those lines. Back in the day, I was a coach in the Exeter Junior League and beyond and actually coached and coached against Carson and Logan when they were 10-12 years old. I remember them both as great, gifted kids. My son had some success as a pitcher at EHS and remembers those days fondly with Coach McQueen and all of his friends. Time flies by! Best of luck whatever you do!
Everyone remembers their first home run. I'll never forget mine. I was 9 had one guy on first and i hit an absolute nuke into the city pool behind left field. I can still remember vividly the feeling of the bat hitting the ball. It had the perfect pop. My parents and brother went nuts. It was great time. Keep it up bro
Thank you for the story on your shoulder injury. I actually just snapped the growth plate in my elbow from throwing wrong and I really appreciated your honesty about how it made you feel. Your the best man.
My favorite video you've ever put out! The true and raw storytelling in this was a different side of content, that I'm glad you tapped into. Remember, your story can only really ever be told by you. Thanks for sharing!
unfortunately i had to stop baseball a few years ago and kind of regret it now but baseball is still my life as I'm a huge fan of it an always will be! Thank you for making this videos apart of my life and I love watching them!
Damn bro just found your content this video hit hard for me, I’m older than you by quite a bit..28 but man I’m impressed with your work ethic and wanting to get better. I myself played on an A team growing up didn’t have a lot of power or throw for high velo hence why I got cut last my freshman year as a pitcher and that hit hard. I remember I lost a lot of confidence and lacked the maturity to have the outlook you have had. Just super impressed and earned a fan in me if you read this
Much respect after watching this video. I’m in a similar but different situation. Pitcher at the #1 JUCO in the country but the pressure of being there and being around so many guys who have a P5 mindset or bust can be difficult mentally. I’m in the middle of a mindset shift myself and hearing you talk about your struggles really hits home with where I’m at right now. Hit me up I’d love to talk and try to set something up for a facility tour at the #1 JUCO in the country.
This is awesome man I'm glad you made this video and I'm gonna take notes from this vid because I think I could benefit from the stuff I learned and thank you for pursuing RUclips because it never disappoints
You’re definitely not the only one attempting to make a comeback in baseball. I am currently in my backyard hitting the heck out of the ball. I am starting to pitch as well, unfortunately, my command isn’t there just yet, but I know I am starting to throw hard. Not quite sure what my velocity is on my fastball, but what I do know is that I have potential in a slider, cutter and a splitter and I know I have god on my side as well. Keep it moving man.
Awesome video. For the year I loved the videos related to the MLB Draft. There aren’t many creators doing what you did with regards to the draft. Would love to see similar and more in 24 draft.
I played in the LLWS this year and I have been watching your vids and I see other peoples perspective on baseball and I see where you come form so I just turned 13 and you showed my that you go all in and it will take you some where so keep up the work and I’ll be there so see you get to 1 million subscribers soon ❤ P.S I’m Christian Nuñez and I live in PA so not that far away from you if you want I could be in a video sometime” just comment on one of my vids and then we can talk more” all love❤
Love ur mentality i was decent at baseball as a kid but in Canada where i live its hard to go a long ways so i quit and now i sit on my couch and watch the Blue Jays and other teams but im amazed how far you have come at only 21 keep up the great work and vids
Happy New year DSARM and to the rest of the DSARM YT community! Thank you DSARM, you’re an inspiration to the masses my boy we love your light and your grind! TO DA MOON MI BOI!TO DA MOON!🥷🐺🤝🏽⭐️
Hey Dan I go to marshwood in south Berwick maine and I play for the sea coast pirates and my home field is that Phillips Exeter academy field where you threw you’re bullpens. I just thought that was so cool.
Great videos as always bro keep it up. God bless y’all have a great New Year’s. Love the contact as usual keep putting out the great stuff you always do.
My 10 year old son needs to watch this video, he said to me the other day, what’s the point of playing anymore if he’s not gonna make the majors, he thinks that’s the only success he can make through baseball, you’re showing that there’s other things baseball can do for you. Also it’s funny you said that about your mom wanting to be a baseball mom cuz that’s my wife’s favorite thing about my son playing, is watching him play
I resonate with this video I was up to 94 getting recruited by sec,acc schools my junior year hurt my shoulder and I decided hang them up my senior year and pursue business and this is something I obsess over buissness now baseball taught me so much
This is so crazy to me, this is the first generation of kids that it's normal to them to be able to go out and use their name in amateur athletics as a way to make money while they play. It seems like a no-brainer today, but for years it was the worst being a division to athlete, you get no shine, but you still have to work just as hard as the dudes and division one. And a lot of those guys might be as good, but they don't have the grades, or they need to live near their home because someone's sick, I'm glad you documented this because years from now this will be historic and people will be amazed when they find out guys weren't allowed to profit off of their own name as adults.
Hey! Love the videos man. Just was wondering how you always were motivated to practice and confident in your game as it’s always been a dream of mine to go D1. I was always a decent b team player like you till I made a great AAU team last fall and starting hitting lessons and had the best season batting in my life. This off-season I’ve just felt like I’ve been slacking a bit and am beating myself up over bad bp sessions. How did you always stay motivated and confident?
I’m injured right now, and I’ve been out for a few weeks. Even still I can’t throw, and it sucks. Believe me! YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE INJURED! *Elbow injury*
"I'm not gonna lie, I don't think you love the game like that, bro. At least not playing. I'm from New England, and to get an offer from Stonehill and say no is crazy. If you really loved the game, you would've taken that offer. See if you can redshirt, actually heal your body, stop trying to hit 90, and learn how to be a crafty lefty in the collegiate system. Also theres tons of D3 guys that get drafted it sounds like you had great offers but were bit delusional…like did you think Vanderbilt was gonna call?
My kid hit 85 last fall at a UMD showcase when he was still 14, and college interest in him immediately blew up. He has the physical skills and talent but is pretty nonchalant about playing in college. He'd rather play XBOX with his friends. How do you motivate someone like this?
Did you play against Chevrus is Maine? My ex-girlfriend's brother played for them probably a few years before you were there I believe but I heard their football in baseball programs were pretty good.

You were a stud when you were twelve (even now)
You deserved to be on the A team. ⚾️

Thank you so much man! I really appreciate that
This is crazy that my favorite baseball RUclipsr grew up less than an hour away from where I live and play baseball
Let’s go that’s sick
I turned 23 last week and relate.. injuries ruined my track career and was so obsessed. I sadly was never the same. Schools stopped calling was forgotten so fast.
Bro how does it feel to move on and not play anymore?

What I really enjoyed is how you didn’t gloss over your failures or make excuses for them. That shows the great amount of character you have.
Thank you man!
Excited for the next year of content, you are a big inspiration for me to keep going and playing baseball along with eric sim, trevor bauer, etc.
Thank you dude!

Appreciate that bro!
You inspired me to keep going as a struggling pitcher, and now I am throwing 85 mph!!!
This is awesome man I'm glad you made this video and I'm gonna take notes from this vid because I think I could benefit from the stuff I learned and thank you for pursuing RUclips because it never disappoints

Every other team that I play is so bad that the whole season I gave up 1 hit and had a 0.00 era
I’m 13 and I’m having a hard time making teams since I’m shorter than most people. But this has respired my motivation to keep going.
look at ichiro suzuki and his story
I’m glad this helps bro. Keep grinding man I promise it’ll pay off

Bro, I feel this on another level. I broke my humerus twice when trying to build up velocity.

As Sir Francis Drake once said greatness from small beginnings. It sounds like your arm injury was the small beginning Dan. Really heartwarming vid.
Thanks Oshizzle you’re the GOAT. Hope to see you around this baseball season bro
Hey Dan I go to marshwood in south Berwick maine and I play for the sea coast pirates and my home field is that Phillips Exeter academy field where you threw you’re bullpens. I just thought that was so cool.

How have you not done a tour of ECU. Literally could be an SEC baseball team with a top 5 atmosphere. Cmon DSARM!
We have it planned for this year 😉

Thanks DSARM for the motivation. I've got one question: what are some hitting exercises that you would recommend?
Back when I hit, the more live pitching I saw, the more comfortable I felt. As a result I definitely hit better. So I'd say just try and see live arms as much as possible
Alright I'll try my best. Thank you so much!
APU and that conference is legit
Yeah Pac West is no joke
Can you possibly tour the Texas A&M stadium baseball
This is where I’m from too you needa pull up to some games
