We are now bigger than many cities. We are bigger than Boston, as well as San Francisco. It's high time Columbus Ohio builds a light rail system. We can't keep trying to broaden our roads. High speed line or light rail ASAP please!

Calm down. The reality is that the actual population of Columbus is TINY: any true measure of population is the metro area and not where a city draws its boundaries. SF city is just 49 square miles, and Boston not much larger. But in comparison to the 2.2, million population in Columbus metro, the SFO Bay Area has over 8 million people, and metro Boston has over 6 million. If you’ve ever been to either of those places you would see what a silly comment you have made: Columbus is a little more than a medium sized urban area and SF and Boston are gargantuan global cities with amenities such as international airports with flights to almost every continent. What is the longest flight that CMH has? Spirit Airlines to Las Vegas ?

@@steveb7429Apparently you missed the part about FUTURE growth & potential. The city has been in dire need of a facelift for many years, but it seems naysayers like yourself are likely the culprit for this shit being delayed for as long as it has, as it crumbles without funding. And with Intel/Facebook expanding facilities in the area, suffice it to say you should probably & kindly stay in your lane on the topic.

@steveb7429 wrong. The population of Columbus is massive. In fact, we're the 14th largest city in the US by population.

Columbus can only keep up with housing demand, if they update existing zoning codes, and parking requirements.

The growth of Columbus, Franklin County, and the neighboring counties, of Licking, Delaware, Union, Madison, Pickaway, and Fairfield will help the rest of Ohio grow, but it will take years or decades. I’m glad Columbus is thriving.

The state of Ohio has adds on TV in NC asking people to move to Ohio which is funny because people move to Raleigh and Durham from all over the country. As a matter of fact Raleigh has trouble keeping up with the explosion of growth.

Interstates 70 and 71 run through Columbus, railroads are also here, and Rickenbacker Airport is primarily for commerce and freight. I'm not sure what universe you're in.
