Keith thanks for the plug 🔌 let’s hope it’s done for next years shows!! That’s the plan, will be learning as much as I can from you past and present videos, cheers Kev
Hiya Keith-really good video as usual-will come in useful in the future i'm sure. Nearly there by the look of things now Tardis, it'll be a show stopper! Keep well mate.
Subframes looking really good, I had a suspicion that you were going to have to replace the radius arms, pins etc, mine was exactly the same . Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴
Trouble i have found fitting new hand brake cables, is the self centering locating washer on the bracket for the backplate is just a plain washer on the new one. By the way Keith, where did you get those 3 rubber insulation blocks for the top of the subframe ?
Hi Keith How's your mates mini coming along? Haven't heard anything since his disappointment about the amount of bodged work that was revealed. Your mini is looking great. 👍
Hi Mike, I was out for a cruise with Mark in his ERA tonight. He's been doing some bit on the engine for the cooper and cleaning parts up but he's really just waiting for a new floor to be made by M-Machine. I think it's due in July.
Yes Tony, I will be there. I thought I entered Sprout into the Show & Shine but turns out its a concourse. Not sure I'm ready for those high standards but at least the car will be on display
Never worry about people having a moan mate. Most will have never laid a spanner on a car in anger. Some people will always find something to whinge about. Just do your thing as you choose as its far better than most on YT anyway.
The reason I re-used them was because they still look like new and when someone looks under the car and sees original brake pipes on a 38 year old car that are not corroded, it really tells a story about the car. I completely understand the point about false economy but it's only time that is the false economy really. A roll of Kunifer and ends is

You are the master!
Thank you.
Another great video, I think you’ve got the balance spot on. Just wish I was as efficient as you.

Hi Keith, great vid, shame about that sleeve hey, better to see it and sort it now though. Great stuff as always 😊
Great Video, real pain about those radius arms. I coat all the tops and back of the rear subframe with Dynax before it goes in. 🙂

It was just some sound deadening material I had left over

@@classicminiworkshop awesome! Would love to know your thoughts when you do!
Do you need to have them rubber strips on the subframe
No, I dont think so. Many people dont fit them back on
Are you doing Beaulieu this Sunday?
Yes Tony, I will be there. I thought I entered Sprout into the Show & Shine but turns out its a concourse. Not sure I'm ready for those high standards but at least the car will be on display

The metal radius arm tubes are available from Japan

Does the “di max” dry sticky?
Not sticky. Just dries like a soft wax.

1st and I'm in the garden in 2g lol
Ah the eternal fame of being the first commenting on a RUclips video
@@GTE_Channel It just really means i have to much time on my hands at the mo lol
Not fitting cunifer brake pipes on rebuild is false economy, I believe.

Watch the video, he tells you why he is fitting originals.
