Question. I was looking into building my own Barndominium, but I did want to know. Do you have utilities sourced through the foundation or is it all coming straight from outside?
I'd build a mud room right when you come in the main door on the bottom level. That way guest aren't seeing your shop first before seeing your home. Plus it will give you a drop area for dirty stuff. Maybe even put a half bath down there.
I’m planning on doing that yes!!!
It’s coming along!!👍🏼…Aloha🤙🏽
🙌🏻 thank you
So just a suggestion that may save you time and materials???
Possibly run 3 loose strands of wire the length of the run and stretch the sire and tie to the end post so there is 6 knots not thousands. Just a thought.
Haha I appreciate the idea we tried a lot of ways but one by one is just the strongest and we got it down fast and let’s just say next video it looks pretty sweet
4:08 Just a thought…How will the dryer vent? Seems like it would work better on the opposite wall(exterior side)
This way the pipe isn’t so long, has less corners. Dryer pipe fires happen a lot.
Stay tuned for next video !
For the fence you should dig a little bit down so the fence sit better and is stronger also will be Easter for animals to stay out
Yes that is true I dug it before with the skid along whole fence line to flatten it but I’ll add some dirt around base when finished!
It’s coming along fantastically, another great video man!
Glad you enjoy it!
You should do the hex lighting underneath the house part
That would be pretty awesome three sections of it
Looking good that fence is solid
Thank you!!
I love the ranch! Keep up the great work!
Thank you sir just wait for the next vudeo insane progress!
@@fordsixfo yes sir!!!!!! Can’t wait!!!!!!!👍👍👍
What if you cut the posts in half lengthways so there flat on back side and still looks like full post in front. That gives you 2 posts out of each one and ties easier to back being flat.
Haha great idea but that would take a long time for use to cut, figured this would be easier as we have an abundance of posts and I love the look!
As well
Nice. So where do you hang your coats and take off your boots? In the shop?
The area when you walk up the stairs is open like a “mud room”
Use a drill to tie the wire on the fence, put both ends of the wire in and Tighten the chuck and give it some gas 👍🏼 save them hands man 🙌🏼
Haha we tried it but actually way faster without drill
I see, well it’s looking good man 👌🏼
I was thinking 🤔 You could put a bolt in the chuck and drill 2 holes into it and still use the drill put the wire through the holes and twist
@@DavidSanchez-od5cvI like that too haha
Did the OBS not sell?
Old video lol she is gone unfortunately
Do you need septic trade us we need motor swapped
Smoke detectors?
is it just me or is all the shop video quality dark?
I’m sorry I think it’s my camera I’ve been messing around with it apologies
@@fordsixfo all good. keep up the good work🙏🏼
you know they make a pliers exactly for what your doing so you don't keep fucking up your hands. If that's to complicated try gloves.
