    Glad to see you're enjoying Odin! I took a chance and bought it right away at launch, and I was not disappointed. It's now one of my daily favorites. The formula works great with my hair, but now I'm interested in trying out the pre and post use like your demo. I went ahead and bought the Eventide version at launch too, even though I've barely used any of my Trailhead version, lol.

    Just placed an order for it. I had batch issues with oasis so I’m excited to try the brand out again

    For me, this is the closest a homebrewer has gotten to a lab-made salon product. Easy scoop/application, nice scent, decent hold, easy washout. With the bonus of gorgeous packaging, 4oz of product. Not the best in any category, but a very solid all-rounder.

      Agreed! I feel like this and the Crafted lineup are the closest homebrews have gotten to lab-quality formulas thus far.

    I've said it before and i'll say it again, this shorter hair lenght suits you better imo and you definetly have better control over it. Great video!

    since you have reviewed both the odin and the oasis, what about the root and muddle matte clay, since they said is like a better version and an "on steroids" version of the oasis itself?... i'm quite curious about your opinion about it

    Question : what is the best health based hair balm which functions as a solid wax or clay etc ? (Ideally medium+ hold/natural shine , but not too fussy - in case you ask)

      Also, I think any product that has silica in it requires heat to achieve the best results.

    This is an older video so you probably won't see this but would odin be decent as just a prestyler? I usually enjoy using creams as prestylers to control and manage my hair

    • @TDMStyle
      @TDMStyle  2 года назад +1

      Probably depends on how long your hair is. Odin is pretty strong if I remember correctly, so using it as a prestyler might get a bit sticky as you're blow drying it in. But for shorter hair it would probably work great.

    Please get into the ultimate of all shampoo and conditioners the JAPANESE PRODUCTS:D I love them nothing can come close to the best of all time tsubaki repair shampoo and conditioner, they have a normal different one which is a red bottle too
    There's also a nearly 40$ Shampoo & Conditioner Set by MyKirei By Kao
    You really need to try Jcare and Kcare products tho!
    Also your whistling could use some getting better keep trying! Also my way of I think the best way of whistling is make your mouth have a small O Shape then you can cleanly blow in and out and make a smoother whistle and you move your tongue sorta back and to go up and down in notes ❤ you were doing the sorts rough style whistling kinda harder to do, if done well can get really loud but keep trying!

    • @CocoKoi321
      @CocoKoi321 3 года назад

      The style of whistling you did sounds like the triangle mouth shape one where you blow air straight down
      And just search japanese shampoo and conditioner on Amazon! You'll find them all so easily, they're all prime returns too super good

    • @CocoKoi321
      @CocoKoi321 3 года назад

      They're technically yes expensive but wtf a bottle of redkin conditioner seems like 40 bucks HECK NAH! XD

    doing a thick messy medium style like charles melton, my hair and cut is very similar. would odin wax be ideal for me or something like that? or more like a rio texture cream is the wiser choice? or something else lol? struggling with deciding which products to give a try

    • @TDMStyle
      @TDMStyle  2 года назад +1

      I think either would work honestly, it really just depends on what sort of texture and finish you want. Want something more separated and waxy? Go with Odin. Want a more coarse texture with thicker pieces, and matte finish? Go with Rio.

    Hi Matt I know you’ll probably hate these products but could you review got2b moulding paste and texturising clay? I believe in the us it’s called defy clay instead of phenomenal. I use the paste sometimes and it’s decent but the clay is heat for short hair for the best use, either that or it’s just bad idk. I’m based in the uk and I struggle to find a decent budget product. I’ve been recommended Claymation but it’s fairly expensive so I don’t want to spend a lot of something that may not work or like. What budget hair products would you recommend?

    • @Alex-rp9cl
      @Alex-rp9cl 3 года назад

      Try Savage Muk if your on a budget, you can pickup a 1.7 Oz Jar for £8 on Amazon or you could put a extra £4 to it for a 3.4 Oz Jar. It's water based, humidity resistant & a firm hold clay. www.mukme.com/shop/product/savage-muk-styling-mud-50g/

    Absolutely loved the review! How would this fair for a matte loose slickback/undercut style? Usually mediums are great for me and firms can be a bit heavy but this seems medium-firm?

    • @TDMStyle
      @TDMStyle  3 года назад +1

      I think if you use it only as a post-styler into dry hair, it would work for that, but is a bit too strong for looser styles. You might have better luck with something like Lodestar Rio texture cream.

    You make a way big deal out of scent in a hair product. I rather have unscented hair product. If scent is so important then you sure be doing fragrances review.

    • @TDMStyle
      @TDMStyle  3 года назад +4

      Yeah well obviously scent in a hair product is very subjective as you just pointed out, so 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you like unscented products, cool. But I don’t. Reviewing actual fragrances is a whole other ball game.
