    I was reading ur bits n pieces, I asked can u put multipurpose compost 4 ur cactus 🌵 n u hv said No. Well I hv always used compost 4 my catus's n they grow just fine 😊

    Plus i root my catus's in water, plus i put thm straight in2 the soil if they fall off n they still grow wthout putin thm in water. 😊

    I never knew that you could root cacti in water; I wonder if this only applies to South American cacti, or if you could do that to a desert cactus as well ?

      You can do it with all kinds of cacti the only downside is the roots grown in water compared to the roots in soils are different meaning that they might not survive hope this helped you

    No. Never root cactus in water. The roots that develop are water roots and will fall off when planted in the soil. Then probably rot.
