I was in prison for the last 14 years, I got out 3 weeks ago. Jesus Christ set me free, but His word, prayer, and His preachers keep me free. God bless you for answering the call, and making sure that His people are being fed. Phillippians is a treasure trove, and you're killing it!!
Hey Steven, 7 years ago I lost my entire family in a car accident and for the past 7 years I have felt like God has forgotten about me. Because I couldnt understand or interpret why He would allow such a thing to happen to me you know. And watching this message, I know it's a few weeks old but God has it awakened my spirit again. My hunger and desire for God. Its changed my perspective on seeing the accident as God punishing me but rather pruning me for something else. I had to learn His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Your messages have been inspiring me this passed week and I look forward to hearing them more. I lost my daughter nearly 15 years ago to childhood cancer. She was 6. It’s the hardest thing to go through but I have always always gave glory to God. He bestowed the most beautiful gift and blessing to me for those 6 years. I couldn’t control the external and her fight for life but internally I can see what a “success” we had, to have been in each other’s life, to have loved one another and to have known each other for that time. My husband of 32 years passed away March 2022.. Elevation Ministry has been such a blessing to me, I live in Baltimore Md.. I have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren.. my youngest daughter lives in greensboro NC I thank Jesus Christ my Lord, my Healer, my Father, my Friend that He has lifted me out of a very dark place.. More food..... had a surgery go off the rails now trying to recover. God sent a neighbor complete stranger to sit with me, when I am weak He is strong! Since my 29 year old Grandson died 12/14/21 by an accidental overdose and my daughter putting me practically on the street. I'm 79 and God is giving me peace, healings and God's favor and what he's doing for good. No one can tear me down when I'm in God's hands. This is so right on for me. God purposely took my mom from this earth in March. My unhealthy 36-year marriage ended. God took most of what I had left of material possession in the southern Oregon fires in September. God graciously took all these things out of my life to make me fruitful. To bless me with an amazingly close relationship with Him that I never would have had. I believe. I trust. I have faith. I know He has a thought-out plan for my life that needed my full attention. I am in a season of a tough spiritual battle. I walk numb at days with a pressure in my chest for the fear I have. Right before this season, was the closest I’ve ever been to God in my life. I felt Gods purpose, and through this pruning season, I know God is working with me. He has a purpose for me. At times when I feel under attack it’s hard to see it, but I pray and I ask you help me pray for my faith, my hopes, my happiness, and most importantly to be FEARLESS with Jesus Christ. I WILL GIVE MY TESTIMONY of how God took me out of a place of suicidal thoughts, depression, and doubt. Where when I thought that was it for me, God had other plans. Little did I know, this was a pruning season! Let me tell you, that even through this, I feel the Lord working on me. I feel He has something big and beautiful for me. I came to a place in my mind where I was everywhere, I went for a walk to clear my mind and when I returned home I was told in my spirit I need a word. I know what is in me as far as purpose, coming from a mass series of trauma, and those things I have been healing through, are the keys to my destiny, I have the tools, and just don't know which way to go, so I came to Elevation tonight believing that there is a message just for me, having great expectation that God will meet me right where I am. I just request that you guys pray for me. I also will pray for others. This walk is not easy, but if Jesus can do it and He's got my back interceding for me, a God who will never leave me not forsake me, and a Holy Spirit to comfort me and guide me, I Can Do This. 🙏🏽🕊❤

I am in a season that I interpreted as abandonment and rejection. I questioned where God was in this season and in my circumstance. I now realize that my interpretation os skewed and I have completely over looked God's love for me through all of this. Although the pain remains, I know that I will bare much fruit! Amen... I live in Guatemala, Perla and I were married for 31 years, she had a psychiatric condition called schizophrenia and bipolar syndrome. Last year she accepted Lord Jesus as her only savior. This year she took the hand of Jesus and left for the Kingdom, our real house and destiny. For the last 2 months, my salary is blocked at the institution I have been working for the last 33 years (I accepted the employment in order to take Perla to the movies, lol) due to an administrative procedure at the hospital where I stood with covid for 13 days. The problem is around a signature and a seal, and my expedient does not show yet (Latino bureaucracy). Perla was in UCI for 25 days, and she was taken by Jesus to His kingdom. This preaching has helped me a lot, I have posted an excerpt of it on my channel, I expect to have it translated into Spanish. Thank you all.

I've been listening to your messages for the past 2-3 years. I used to live in Orlando Florida but now I live in New Castle Delaware, I moved here 2 months ago, I really felt in my Spirit that God was telling me to come here with my daughter and my grandson. We arrived on September 5th, 2020 and I can tell you that we have been pruned, we have been living from hotel to hotel, I never thought that the move here would make us homeless but here we are with no place of our own. Today you were saying that it's what I make it mean, I have to be honest that I didn't feel like I was being pruned at first, I actually felt like I was being punished for doing something that I really didn't hear The Lord say, it made me question myself and how I perceived to have heard from God. I began to think that I made a mistake and it put anguish in my Spirit. BUT GOD, is so Amazing, Good and Faithful and we have been in the same Inn for 3 weeks now and I know that God has a place for us, my grandson said just the other day when he was praying for our dinner "Father, thank you for our new home." I am witnessing the hand of God in our lives and we are so thankful that we have a place to sleep, God is teaching us to be in 1 room with only a bathroom to separate us for a few minutes a day and God is showing us to Love each other even when we are so tired of looking at each other, He has given us the fruit of Grace and the fruit of holding space for each other in the moments when we are about to lose it because we have no idea of when or where we are going to live. Our fruit of gratitude has grown so much, grateful for the people who without knowing us have helped us to make sure that we have a place to sleep and bathe and even though it's not what we thought we would have by now it is nonetheless the thing that will help us to understand what God is going to do in our lives. I never really concentrated on RUclips comments. I saw them pretty differently than those on Instagram and Facebook. I am very self conscious and feel uncomfortable in my own mind, much less on a feed of comments that other people can see. Judgement from others can feel brutal when you speak your truth and it causes me (& I’m sure many others) to remain silent in my struggles. But without your God given word, I wouldn’t be getting the food I need to feed my soul. I wouldn’t know that I could CHOOSE to bare fruit or even think anything good could come from my hard times. You have been asking people to comment and let you know their names and how they are...but when I go through a rough season- I can certainly admit my interpretation can be messy sometimes. And I don’t like to share, because the mess in my mind seems too much to post on a comment section in the place that feels so safe and assuring. The place I rely on to lift my spirits and renew my strength. The place I go for comfort and peace when I wake up from a nightmare and physically cannot breathe due to panic attacks. I don’t know if you will even read this, and I don’t know if you’ll ever comprehend the impact you have had on my life, but I pray that you do. Because you deserve to know what a blessing you are to so so many and you deserve the credit alongside God for all the moments I have contemplated my existence. I grew up in church and have always prayed and given glory to God. But 5 years ago my life was pretty wrecked in ways I still can’t come to terms with. Had I not been in such a low place, had I not have felt so invisible, so scared, so unworthy, so unheard, so stuck, so powerless, so undeserving and so alone, I may have never looked for any branches on a tree that seemed completely bare. While yes, I have always had a good relationship with the Lord, my experiences over the last many years have been nothing short of a blessing and have brought me closer to God than I ever thought possible. I cannot imagine my life without Gods unfailing love, and I am raising my children to fully believe they will NEVER have to feel alone or unloved, with or without me. What does it matter? My present..& my children’s future. What does it mean? I am blessed beyond measure regardless of the mountains I continue to climb. What do I choose? I choose to keep climbing to the top of my tree and using my fruit to be the best I can be. Even now, I feel vulnerable and weary about posting this. Not because I am embarrassed, but because I know how many people have it so much worse. Because I don’t want to sound like “woe is me” or as if I ask for pity. But as I said, you deserve to know how life changing your sermons have been for my children and I. Through God, you have changed my sight, my perspectives, my intentions, my mindset and my heart. Mr. Furtick, I am forever grateful that you choose to share your gift with the world. My soul will always be saturated with peace, wisdom, protection and faith with any word you choose to speak. I understand what you are saying. I have been there too. My husband left me several years ago and in Africa, you carry the burden of a broken marriage as a woman. I have lived my life, head bowed down in shame, feeling I am not good enough, not letting people know what I am going through, raising my children and all. Yet now I can see the goodness of the Lord in my life, the assurance He has given me through the encouraging sermons I have been listening to. Praise be to God.
Check out the sermon he does abt Jesus healing the blind man in the book of John. I'm sorry I dont remember the title. U mention not knowing we can choose to bare fruit. Pastor Steven points out in that 1 Jesus can just spit on our dirt (sins) and make miracles. But the guy had to choose to go wash. ALL things work towards good..... God bless

2 years back I choose something(premed school) that I thought, I could see myself doing for the rest of my life . But 7 months back a day before Christmas, Lord asked me to express myself. So from that day I started writing songs. Believe me I wrote 150 songs in 5 months. I wote short stories, poems, scripts, novels and started singing. I thought I found my life purpose. But a month ago when I gave my entrance exam, whose result just came a day ago, I was shocked to know that I flunked in each one of them.. My parents are disappointed, I lost my confidence, my writing, my everything. Lord I don't know your plan but all I wanna say to u is take my hand and lead my way.. Whatever purpose u have for me I m here for it..
You've had such a tremendous impact on my life and in my relationship with the Lord. You'll never know how much it means to me, and the gravity of it all, but know you are running the race God has for you. Thank you for being diligent in living within his will for you and answering his call.

Praise God! I've been struggling with dealing with my job and see no other option but to stay for now. I've been watching your sermons while I'm getting ready for work each day for about a month now. God has hand-picked each sermon for me for what I need that day. It's all I can do to keep from crying and not mess up my makeup before I go to work! LOL But God speaking through you has kept me sane and able to stay in this season of pruning so that I can bear much fruit for what He has planned for me ahead. God will have to open up a new way for me before, or when that time comes. Right now, I have to believe that He is using this situation to make changes within me that would not happen otherwise. Just taking it one day at a time. God has always opened the doors of change that I have needed, so I believe that He will be faithful to do the same for you.
@@charla1967 good u have time. I had worked in covid...company cut back hours. Had valid reason for unemployment pay..given a time to recuperate from the Strains, be home with my son. First time in years..had an increase after trials. The hard thing is..my son was stressed, reacted and pushed me down. Was shaken up, took a while to heal. My foot ended up having some tendon strain...Just when I was going to look at next job. Forgave and continued witnessing, going day by day in faith. When my cheques ended, I talked w the Lord..need for income. Next day an old boss called...some pt time work. Another boss called later that wk..pt time work. Clearly was an answer to prayer! Thankful, and expecting God will supply all our needs.

Hey Steven, 7 years ago I lost my entire family in a car accident and for the past 7 years I have felt like God has forgotten about me. Because I couldnt understand or interpret why He would allow such a thing to happen to me you know. And watching this message, I know it's a few weeks old but God has it awakened my spirit again. My hunger and desire for God. Its changed my perspective on seeing the accident as God punishing me but rather pruning me for something else. I had to learn His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Your messages have been inspiring me this passed week and I look forward to hearing them more. I lost my daughter nearly 15 years ago to childhood cancer. She was 6. It’s the hardest thing to go through but I have always always gave glory to God. He bestowed the most beautiful gift and blessing to me for those 6 years. I couldn’t control the external and her fight for life but internally I can see what a “success” we had, to have been in each other’s life, to have loved one another and to have known each other for that time. This is so right on for me. God purposely took my mom from this earth in March. My unhealthy 36-year marriage ended. God took most of what I had left of material possession in the southern Oregon fires in September. God graciously took all these things out of my life to make me fruitful. To bless me with an amazingly close relationship with Him that I never would have had. I believe. I trust. I have faith. I know He has a thought-out plan for my life that needed my full attention. BLESS HIS NAME!!!
I am in a season of a tough spiritual battle. I walk numb at days with a pressure in my chest for the fear I have. Right before this season, was the closest I’ve ever been to God in my life. I felt Gods purpose, and through this pruning season, I know God is working with me. He has a purpose for me. At times when I feel under attack it’s hard to see it, but I pray and I ask you help me pray for my faith, my hopes, my happiness, and most importantly to be FEARLESS with Jesus Christ.
I WILL GIVE MY TESTIMONY of how God took me out of a place of suicidal thoughts, depression, and doubt. Where when I thought that was it for me, God had other plans. Little did I know, this was a pruning season! Let me tell you, that even through this, I feel the Lord working on me. I feel He has something big and beautiful for me.

I am in a season that I interpreted as abandonment and rejection. I questioned where God was in this season and in my circumstance. I now realize that my interpretation os skewed and I have completely over looked God's love for me through all of this. Although the pain remains, I know that I will bare much fruit! Amen... Sometimes we think that delivering a message or sharing a testimony requires a bunch of fancy words to make it sound more interesting, but God’s most amazing work is sometimes done in the simplest forms. But worship also, think of it as an energy drink, you need it to survive this world. What goes into our ears, goes into our mind and to our hearts. What goes into our hearts goes out of our mouths and into this world. Think and speak life. Live it.

I live in Guatemala, Perla and I were married for 31 years, she had a psychiatric condition called schizophrenia and bipolar syndrome. Last year she accepted Lord Jesus as her only savior. This year she took the hand of Jesus and left for the Kingdom, our real house and destiny. For the last 2 months, my salary is blocked at the institution I have been working for the last 33 years (I accepted the employment in order to take Perla to the movies, lol) due to an administrative procedure at the hospital where I stood with covid for 13 days. The problem is around a signature and a seal, and my expedient does not show yet (Latino bureaucracy). Perla was in UCI for 25 days, and she was taken by Jesus to His kingdom. This preaching has helped me a lot, I have posted an excerpt of it on my channel, I expect to have it translated into Spanish. Thank you all.

This message had so much meaning...and I feel that God actually spoke to me through Pastor Steven Furtick. I was in a season of loss. I left my old town behind and it's been two years. But I still miss everyone who stay there. It's just hard to move on. But I believe that God brought me to this town to change me and He has. These two years have been real hard but when the quarantine began, I really sought God and experienced His grace and mercy. And now I have a new life.....a new way of seeing things. So, yeah....this quarantine is how I got close to God and actually how I started my journey as a Christian who knows that she is loved and cared for by the Almighty God, all-powerful and amazing......

Thank you Pastor Furtck for such an amazing message, for your obedient heart to bring the very Word that God gives you. My name is Nancy Gonzalez and I'm 61 years old. I've been listening to your messages for the past 2-3 years. I used to live in Orlando Florida but now I live in New Castle Delaware, I moved here 2 months ago, I really felt in my Spirit that God was telling me to come here with my daughter and my grandson. We arrived on September 5th, 2020 and I can tell you that we have been pruned, we have been living from hotel to hotel, I never thought that the move here would make us homeless but here we are with no place of our own. Today you were saying that it's what I make it mean, I have to be honest that I didn't feel like I was being pruned at first, I actually felt like I was being punished for doing something that I really didn't hear The Lord say, it made me question myself and how I perceived to have heard from God. I began to think that I made a mistake and it put anguish in my Spirit. BUT GOD, is so Amazing, Good and Faithful and we have been in the same Inn for 3 weeks now and I know that God has a place for us, my grandson said just the other day when he was praying for our dinner "Father, thank you for our new home." I am witnessing the hand of God in our lives and we are so thankful that we have a place to sleep, God is teaching us to be in 1 room with only a bathroom to separate us for a few minutes a day and God is showing us to Love each other even when we are so tired of looking at each other, He has given us the fruit of Grace and the fruit of holding space for each other in the moments when we are about to lose it because we have no idea of when or where we are going to live. Our fruit of gratitude has grown so much, grateful for the people who without knowing us have helped us to make sure that we have a place to sleep and bathe and even though it's not what we thought we would have by now it is nonetheless the thing that will help us to understand what God is going to do in our lives. I can confidently say that we have said in this valley " Thank You Father for Your Grace and Mercy, for Your Faithfulness."

The Joy Of The Lord Is My Strength 💓
I never really concentrated on RUclips comments. I saw them pretty differently than those on Instagram and Facebook. I am very self conscious and feel uncomfortable in my own mind, much less on a feed of comments that other people can see. Judgement from others can feel brutal when you speak your truth and it causes me (& I’m sure many others) to remain silent in my struggles.
But without your God given word, I wouldn’t be getting the food I need to feed my soul. I wouldn’t know that I could CHOOSE to bare fruit or even think anything good could come from my hard times. You have been asking people to comment and let you know their names and how they are...but when I go through a rough season- I can certainly admit my interpretation can be messy sometimes. And I don’t like to share, because the mess in my mind seems too much to post on a comment section in the place that feels so safe and assuring. The place I rely on to lift my spirits and renew my strength. The place I go for comfort and peace when I wake up from a nightmare and physically cannot breathe due to panic attacks. I don’t know if you will even read this, and I don’t know if you’ll ever comprehend the impact you have had on my life, but I pray that you do. Because you deserve to know what a blessing you are to so so many and you deserve the credit alongside God for all the moments I have contemplated my existence. I grew up in church and have always prayed and given glory to God. But 5 years ago my life was pretty wrecked in ways I still can’t come to terms with. Had I not been in such a low place, had I not have felt so invisible, so scared, so unworthy, so unheard, so stuck, so powerless, so undeserving and so alone, I may have never looked for any branches on a tree that seemed completely bare. While yes, I have always had a good relationship with the Lord, my experiences over the last many years have been nothing short of a blessing and have brought me closer to God than I ever thought possible. I cannot imagine my life without Gods unfailing love, and I am raising my children to fully believe they will NEVER have to feel alone or unloved, with or without me. What does it matter? My present..& my children’s future. What does it mean? I am blessed beyond measure regardless of the mountains I continue to climb. What do I choose? I choose to keep climbing to the top of my tree and using my fruit to be the best I can be.
Even now, I feel vulnerable and weary about posting this. Not because I am embarrassed, but because I know how many people have it so much worse. Because I don’t want to sound like “woe is me” or as if I ask for pity. But as I said, you deserve to know how life changing your sermons have been for my children and I. Through God, you have changed my sight, my perspectives, my intentions, my mindset and my heart. Mr. Furtick, I am forever grateful that you choose to share your gift with the world. My soul will always be saturated with peace, wisdom, protection and faith with any word you choose to speak. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I understand what you are saying. I have been there too. My husband left me several years ago and in Africa, you carry the burden of a broken marriage as a woman. I have lived my life, head bowed down in shame, feeling I am not good enough, not letting people know what I am going through, raising my children and all. Yet now I can see the goodness of the Lord in my life, the assurance He has given me through the encouraging sermons I have been listening to. Praise be to God.
Check out the sermon he does abt Jesus healing the blind man in the book of John. I'm sorry I dont remember the title. U mention not knowing we can choose to bare fruit.
Pastor Steven points out in that 1 Jesus can just spit on our dirt (sins) and make miracles. But the guy had to choose to go wash.

Yes everything is meaningless but God is everything that anyone would ever need to satisfy the spirit heart mind and soul.
2 years back I choose something(premed school) that I thought, I could see myself doing for the rest of my life . But 7 months back a day before Christmas, Lord asked me to express myself. So from that day I started writing songs. Believe me I wrote 150 songs in 5 months. I wote short stories, poems, scripts, novels and started singing. I thought I found my life purpose. But a month ago when I gave my entrance exam, whose result just came a day ago, I was shocked to know that I flunked in each one of them.. My parents are disappointed, I lost my confidence, my writing, my everything. Lord I don't know your plan but all I wanna say to u is take my hand and lead my way.. Whatever purpose u have for me I m here for it..

Praise God! I've been struggling with dealing with my job and see no other option but to stay for now. I've been watching your sermons while I'm getting ready for work each day for about a month now. God has hand-picked each sermon for me for what I need that day. It's all I can do to keep from crying and not mess up my makeup before I go to work! LOL But God speaking through you has kept me sane and able to stay in this season of pruning so that I can bear much fruit for what He has planned for me ahead. I love how you are so transparent and relatable and keep it real! Don't ever stop keeping it real! I love you, your family and your church and I hope that I am part of your efam now. And I am just the opposite! I am leaving a job of 15 years. I stayed too long. Now, I must trust Him.
@@sarahdrummond6424 I'm trusting God to open a door for a new job, or maybe something else, for me when it's time. I have a contract for fulfill until October 2021. God will have to open up a new way for me before, or when that time comes. Right now, I have to believe that He is using this situation to make changes within me that would not happen otherwise. Just taking it one day at a time. God has always opened the doors of change that I have needed, so I believe that He will be faithful to do the same for you.

@@charla1967 good u have time. I had worked in covid...company cut back hours. Had valid reason for unemployment pay..given a time to recuperate from the Strains, be home with my son. First time in years..had an increase after trials. The hard thing is..my son was stressed, reacted and pushed me down. Was shaken up, took a while to heal. My foot ended up having some tendon strain...Just when I was going to look at next job. Forgave and continued witnessing, going day by day in faith. When my cheques ended, I talked w the Lord..need for income. Next day an old boss called...some pt time work. Another boss called later that wk..pt time work. Clearly was an answer to prayer! Thankful, and expecting God will supply all our needs.
