Out of all the tracks in this game, I think this will be one of my top favorites due to the amount of detail it has both visual and music wise. I'm also hoping for Wario Colosseum as a Retro Track! Fingers crossed!

I love how you can choose to either have a female or male villager, its like having 2 characters for the prize of one, plus the paper plane glider looks so fitting for an animal crossing character...maybe its because the series tries to create something whimsical and beautiful out of an ordinary, and mundane everyday life, and what more mundane but whimsical than a well-done paper plane?

AMAZING!!! Love me some Animal crossing and this course did just that!!! First off graphics are simply amazing followed by the amount of details they added in it from the AC series, the music sounded so GREAT and had remixed themes from the games, and finally the changing seasons was a big bonus too!!! Overall next to big blue this track was the absoulte best in this pack excellent job guys at Nintendo who worked on it you did an Excellent Job bringing my all time favorite Nintendo game to my all time favorite Mario game!!!! :D

You are giving us more maps, you didn't waste games own development time making the DLC AND all the DLC is priced fairly! No 100€ skins or character packs, no pay to win, no taking away from the original game to pack as DLC. Thank you. This is how to do DLC. I bought Wii U just for Pikmin and Smash and I'm glad I did. Nintendo games are good quality, they are not rushed, they aren't forced yearly francises (Well, maybe the 3D Mario games are, but Super Mario 3D World was amazing! And we haven't had a new Mario platformer in a while, so maybe I'm wrong :D) and every single Nintendo game on Wii U is pure gold! Thank you. For everything!
It's not decorated coins it's bells. In the games bells are just coins with stars on them, which is what these are. I think they make a different sound too.
Riddle me this Nintendo, why haven't you made a Super Kart Bros? In the same vain as Sega All Stars Racing... Add Samus, Captain Falcon, Pit etc... it would be awesome! And you KNOW it would sell! At first, Mario Kart 8 was only my third favorite of the series. But thanks to the DLC and on-going support from Nintendo, along with crossovers and some pretty amazing mii costumes- it is now my favorite of the series. PHENEOMENAL job.
I've pretty much analyzed the map by now: You start off at the center of town and make your way over a bridge where you can land a trick. Then you take a right and make your way through a tree field and making a right U-turn where there is a ramp before you make a left to go on a gliding ramp where you will go under a balloon archway. You make your way to the beach and turn left. You go over some ramps and a flowing stream before you make a left U-turn and make a jump. Then you make a slight turn to the left and make a right U-turn before turning left and crossing the finish line. You're welcome.
Man I want DLC with King Boo for Mario Kart 8 that would be great! Also Battle Mode DLC that adds maps and game-modes. I think Battle mode in Mario Kart 8 deserve attention too, it does need more content and better gameplay.

Can you imagine if Animal Crossing Wii U looked like this? and in 3rd person? That would be truly amazing. You could look to the sky and the sunset at the beach. To watch snow fall and to take shade under the trees. If the game could be anything like that, it would be the best AC game ever.
The Wii U actually has a spectacular opportunity for this. They could be able to keep the traditional top-down view of the past games, but also include the 3rd person / 1st person perspective using the game-pad. You could be able to pan around using the game-pad and gyroscopes, and inspect things at detail and enjoy the scenery of the game. Having a town full of fun structures, and a house full of furniture would be so much more fulfilling if you would be able to do this.

If you look and listen closely, the coins in this track are actually Bells, it has its trademark star at the center of it and it sounds slighly different than a regular coin.
After the last few Mario Kart games being more of the same, they are kicking it out of the park with 8! It took a long time for Nintendo to catch onto DLC but they're definitely doing it right and adding on all sorts of awesome extras without charging users for things that should already be in the game.
If you put it at 0.5 speed it lets you see all the details... I already figured out the course! It goes like this: Finish line -> Tree section -> Flight section -> Beach section -> Bridge and jump -> Road to the museum -> Finish line again

I have an E3 predicition for this year...Nintendo is going to show us Animal Crossing for Wii U which will be released November/December 2015 and they will show us the newest 3D Mario game for next year as it is 20 years next year so it will be something to celebrate with I think!

Single bells look like coins, but with a different symbol in the middle, and we didn't see a coin/bell close up so it could go any way.
