It's over 42 years ago , as a student nurse, that I first saw circumcisions being done on 2days old baby boys before discharge, by both Dr and Rabi . Some cried and some slept like nothing was happening. My son is 36 but I don't recall anything about his . Mia you're too much 😂😂😂. Be blessed with your 2 lovable bundles ,they are your light ❤❤
I cried in January, I was sitting down the hall away from the room they circumcised my son . He was screaming and it was piercing my soul. So sorry Micah ❤

Four months Ago, my Son was circumcised , I was close to the room I heard him scream at the top of his voice . I started crying like a baby. The nurses had to beg me to stop crying .
Like I still hear that cry till today😊
I won't try it next time to stay close to the room where my baby is being circumcised .

Ohh my! In the uk they can come to your house and do it for your child in your sitting room, or you just go to a small clinic. It’s very quick, it’s hard to watch but honestly it’s ok, I’m happy I watched and held his little legs while they did it

Alma, this was the right time for his circumcision. One of my brothers wasn't circumcized as a baby and had it done as an adult and it was extremely uncomfortable as was the recovery period. You made the right move. Did you see my message asking if you had a diaper genie or similar device for disposable diapers? I would like to get you one.
What country is this? Circumcision is highly archaic. Only around 10% of newborn males are circumcised in Canada and the number declines every year.
My dear, the Lord is your strenght. That's how it is for being a new mother, you just have to have patient the situation will pass and you go back to leave your life.

I am a Labor and Delivery nurse in the states, I hate circumcisions 😭 my I cried too when my son had his done, trust me there's no way we would be able to witness it.Thankfully they don’t remember it but i feel your pain Mama Micah ❤

I feel you Alma, thank God Micah is a very strong boy. I think he didn't cry so much. My son cried from the hospital till we got home, I wished we could use an aeroplane to get home speedily

It is a terrible and cruel male gnital mutilation that must be rejected, prohibited and punished. Circumcision damages the glans for life. Circumcision has no benefits or advantages in healthy babies and children because the foreskin is the best skin because it has many important and beneficial sexual and protective functions, thousands of nerve endings, veins and blood capillaries, therefore the foreskin must be kept intact and wash the glans in each bath or shower to prevent infections such as balanitis or urinary tract.

I rem how I held my first nephew down to be circumcised, that period was a very long sad day for everyone cos he kept crying for days, he is 15 years old now. I think the method of circumcision now is less painful compared to before. During my son's time, I was so scared of the whole process due to what I experienced with my nephew but he only cried during the circumcision and was fine after I had breastfed him. God is great and thank God for technology. It is far better now than before. I was also not allowed in and I also cried when they brought him out crying.

Awwww dear Alma, As someone who has circumcised babies of different ages it is indeed better to do the circumcision now than later. And he would be given analgesics before the procedure which will reduce the level of pain.

I have three boys and I was there all through the circumsicion process for each of them. I even made a video of my second baby because I invited the midwife to come and do it at home. I was shocked my fragile heart could take the process. So sorry momma❤️❤️❤️. But I was consoled that by the fact that the pain eases off after the first painful pee.😢😢

Alma your baby boy seems to know all the various sounds around him especially his sister who always kissing him.As he opens his eyes his ears wide.His daddy shirt : "Daddy loves me " is coming.His father loves holding him at any moment and he raising his head at this stage means he gonna be a fast goer.He gonna develop rapidly.

Welldone Alma. I resonate totalling with you. When my son was being circumcised, I went to wait at the gate of the hospital as I could not bear to hear him cry. It was my hubby who stayed with the hospital staff. My boy is 22 years old !!!!!

It never did my son’s I took him in for the doctor to roll his for-skin back…no circumcising for my boy…he is 22 now…its just the applying cream during that time was hard for me
When my first son had the procedure my husband had tears in his eyes. I was like😮 and suddenly it was over it was like magic. God is good to bless doctors. My baby was not in pain they absolutely can’t process what’s happened. God is amazing. The procedure is like using like a can opener…super fast.
