- Baked Chicken with Mushroom Sauce (Serves 3)
Ingredients:
1 chicken breast
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
100 ml flour
1 medium-sized onion
200 g mushrooms
Half a bunch of parsley
1 clove of garlic
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon vegetable powder
100 ml water
150 ml cream
50 ml water + half a tablespoon of starch
Grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Slice 1 chicken breast into 3 thin slices. Add a teaspoon each of paprika, salt, and black pepper to the chicken and mix well. Place about 100 ml of flour in a separate plate and coat the chicken slices with the flour. Place the floured chicken in another plate and set aside.
Dice 1 onion. Wash and slice 200 g of mushrooms. Finely chop half a bunch of parsley. In a pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and fry the chicken on both sides over high heat. Then, in the same pan, add the diced onion, mushrooms, one crushed garlic clove, and 1 tablespoon of butter. Sauté until the mushrooms change color.
Add a teaspoon each of paprika, salt, black pepper, and vegetable powder. Add 100 ml of water, 150 ml of cream, and a mixture of 50 ml of water and half a tablespoon of starch. Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Finally, add the finely chopped parsley and remove the pan from the heat.
Place the chicken in a suitable baking dish, pour the sauce over it, and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius until the top is golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
