Instead it's the strong spirit that witness these things in general. We call them as demon lights(Ramei) it is witnessed around some few naga villages during night. The light variates in sizes(blueish in general, it variates too) also it has the ability to teleport on a limited space. I had my brother being chased by that figure during hunting days.
Yes seeing fire in mountain is very common it shows demon is roaming there in jungle and whoever witness those dies.
