In addition, the melody is composed of the chords Em, G, D and A, which are part of the harmonic field of D. Using Em as a tonic (in the key of D) we have the dorian E that fits perfectly in the diatonic scale of D. In summary I think we have a melody in Bm and a Dorian E.
