This is THE matchup I want for these characters. A three-way Deathbattle between Shonen Jump's Big Three. I can't think of a better matchup for Luffy, and this kills two birds with one stone by also technically being a Naruto VS Ichigo rematch
That cut-in for Ichigo was _beautifully_ done. I love the idea of framing it as not just Naruto Vs Luffy or Ichigo, but a straight up battle royale.

As much as I want either of these match ups, I really think Luffy should be at his max potential first, like complete control over Gear 5 Nika Mode cause we only got a glimpse of just how broken that form is when Luffy fought Kaido and not to mention it could eventually become actual Toon Force and not Pseudo Toon force.

Yeah, whenever I hear things like "pseudo toon-force" I'm left to wonder what the difference even is.
Toon Force is a way to describe and generalize a wide range of logic breaking abilities, Luffy has some forms of Toon Force in Gear 5.
I never would have thought you would make this trailer... This is honestly really interesting because it would be nice to see a battle royale that is not in the same series... I am really supporting this idea... Even with all of the salt that this fight will give

Honestly... I feel like this should happen as a big season finale with a Big 3 battle royale... Even though let's be real, Luffy dies first and Ichigo gets the well-deserved dub. Maybe after One-Piece manga ends even though personally, I feel Gear 5 is Luffy's last form. From what the Death Battle team says it's just hard to pair Luffy with anyone so why not go for the themed Death Battle, I feel people would be down for it. It would be a sick 3D fight, don't know if they would have all the assets to pull it off (Particularly for Ichigo), but if they do then the fight would look legendary

Hear me out on the Meruem thing. 1. cell would just be a massive curbstomp for Meruem and the two have a lot in common, they’re two versatile and gluttonous shonen characters who want the title of king and strive to do so by becoming the strongest in their worlds.
