I think Trevor Peek from Aries Fight Club is a up and coming prospect that you missed. He's 7-0 and just got a UFC contract after beating Malik Lewis. Check HIm Out! He's a Local guy to me and he is extremely fun to watch. Great Video btw!
I tweeted out that Tatsuro Taira vs. Muhammad Mokaev is the fight to make and the only person to like the tweet was Muhammad Mokaev. Apparently even he thought it was a great idea.
Maybe once both of them are further in the rankings: top 5-7 at least? Would love to see that fight happen, but not right now. Same with Khamzat and Shavkat.

@Junior Tech Andrade, Rose etc would outclass her. The list os pretty good cause many of these guys could be top 5 or even champ like Jailton if he still was at LHW. Jauregui is no game at all.
@@bannedaccount6016 these type of comments confuse the piss out of me. You listed two former champions who would beat her. Which like, isn’t that bad of an insult as you think it is. And it also just dismisses Yazmin’s potential to grow and develop as a fighter. As if Andrade or Rose were world champion calibre fighters in their first couple of UFC fights. @@carphucker2973 So that means Jauregui is no prospect at all. Just a regular fighter. Most guys the listed in the video could be top 5 or even title challengers right now. Glad they put Almeida in the top cause he could be champ, idk he could do it at HW but pretty sure he would ragdoll the LHW's
Caio is 100% going to be huge. I've watched all of his fights & he's managed all of his fights comfortably. He'll be on multiple main cards in 2023, same with Raul. Dudes not even fully grown & 18 and beating grown ass men. Jay perrin isn't a great fighter but Raul tapped him in like 2 minutes. I honestly think Caio would beat nickal as well. Great vid homie 💯
He's ranked now and has massive hype behind him becoming the youngest UFC champion, so I doubt he goes any direction but up from here, but agree on the Gordon fight. Mokaev was a -1150 favorite. That's insane, and it proved completely unwarranted. Don't think we see another line that huge for him for a while.
I thought it was sort of a good thing. He proved he can just ride a tough decision win out, even if he can't finish the guy-although he did get a sub in the last seconds, it still would have been a 30-27 UD.
I think ikram aliskerov is someone to watch out for. He lost to khamzat before khamzat joined the ufc. He got knocked out cold by khamzat (his only loss 13-1) but he was one of the guys khamzat couldn’t wrestle. He won his contract on Dana white contender series and made it in the ufc this year
I like these lists instead of focusing on "amazing comebacks of older fighters". I started watching MMA several years ago and was hoping for one of my favorites, Cowboy Cerrone, to get a belt. Unfortunately, his career with highlights was still a roller coaster and I was deluding myself into thinking he was gonna pull off a miracle this late in his career. His retirement was a blessing. Now, it's important to see how the different martial arts styles have evolved and how the younger fighters implement patience while climbing the ladder. Or, they will get pushed too quickly and people will forget about them.
Yes, if this guy's striking could be upgraded to even just "good" level, he will be very difficult to deal with. He has the body of an elite striker, but he's a next level wrestler, with very solid BJJ too... so unlike stocky & short DC et al. Bo should be able to learn to strike & kick much more naturally, given the appropriate/elite coaching he needs... Imagine Bo with the poise striking ability of Dustin Poirier or Jack Magdallana to go along with this next level wrestling and good BJJ! Anyway, if in 2023 Bo could upgrade his striking and BJJ to "good" level, I will pick him over the vastly touted Khamzat, at 185. Gifted as Khamzat is, I am not sure if his undisciplined approach is good for champ status.
Great list, only personal pick missing for me would Josh Quinlan. He was impressive on the contender series. He's a well-rounded fighter, a superior athlete, and he absolutely starched Jason Witt on his debut. Maybe 2024 will be his breakout year, but I'm anticipating 2 to 3 wins from him in 2023.
