Hi from Japan. We went from the LG C4 to the Bravia 8 and now the Bravia 7. I was an oled guy for a few years, but Image retention is it obnoxious problem this year. It seems the brighter they make OLEDs the more likely it will get image attention and potential burn in.
I’m sold! We are moving into our new house in about a month, and I’ve been looking at different TVs for the past few weeks. I’m getting a 85” and two 75”. Thanks for helping me make my decision.
I was debating between sony 7/8/9. I am thinking of 7 as it is brighter than sony b8 and is available in 65 inch size unlike b9 🤞. Hopefully, be a great decision 😅.
You got some great prices right now I picked up the 65 inch for out the door 1500 with a five-year warranty Costco is selling the 65”inch $1,299 65” $1399 $75” 1799 85” 2400 I got the 65” it is a hidden gem you do not have to break the bank for a good quality tv Other TV’s to consider in the same caliber are the LG C4 and Samsung Q80 D
Great review and i have watched many about this TV as i was in between this one in 65inch and Bravia 8 OLED. I hav a very bright living room with basically entire wall out of glass/windows and this one seems like a winner. Looks like at current price this TV is no brainer and i will be picking one up first thing tomorrow morning at local BestBuy.. Do you by any chance know if backlit remote that Bravia 8 comes with (sold by Costco) is the same exact remote and the OEM backlit version can be purchased separately for around $40 ? I would love to have backlit one.
That’s if you keep it. Half a Samsung TVs and quality control issues and it is awfully built. Oled this point is very old tech That needs to come down in price
I'm debating between Bravia 7 and Bravia 9 because the price difference is big Can you explain the differences between them and whether the price difference is worth the investment. I mainly watch football in a lighted room. Today I have a Sony OLED TV and it has problems with burning pixels, so I want to switch to a TV with mini LED technology thanks
Great question! I haven't tested the Bravia 9, but I found this video comparing the 2 models. Hope it helps. :) ruclips.net/video/hXFPvNZsbuc/видео.html
@@SteveDOES I bought a 75 inch Bravia 7 today and I must say an amazing TV with an excellent picture especially after I had a Sony OLED that had pixel burning issues
It’s weird how some reviewers are talking about the viewing angles being god-awful and others are saying it’s a non-issue. Would you say the viewing angles are in-line with other VA panels? I was able to snag a 75” for $1400 but I’m getting nervous reading reviews.
@@ManrantsonMRA unfortunately that is not the case. I have a Bravia 8 and it only have 2 2.1 HDMI and it sucks that I have to buy a switch for my consoles.
So what if you're just going to play games and connect 10 consoles to the TV? The most important thing about a TV is how it displays the PICTURE and everything else doesn't matter at all, especially if you are watching much worse content (480p, 720p) or when the streaming is of poorer quality and then you will see how good the TV is.
@@easyrider76 WTH are talking about? I’m not complaining about the pictures the picture are great but it’s better to have a full 2.1 HDMI’s for my gaming. Cuz I have 2 consoles a PS5 and XBOX and a home theater system, this high end tv should have always a fully loaded features, I don’t know why Sony didn’t do it..

85-inch?! That's awesome.

65” $1399
$75” 1799
85” 2400

I just got a 55” at Best Buy open box excellent condition for $880.
@ My bad it was a typo the $1300 is for the 65” but that is a killer deal for 550 under $900 I decided to pay the $400 more and get the 65”
I currently have the XBR-65X900F model that we’ve had for years. Does the Bravia 7 produce better images particularly for TV showed than the 900F?
i got the 75in version and i'm very satisfied with it.

Can you please recommend between Bravia 7 and Sony A80L.
Alternative - Samsung S90D with Q990D hard to beat, lower package price and a bright OLED with very good reflection handeling..
I haven't tested out any Samsung TV's, but maybe one day. Thanks for sharing some of the features. :)
Does the samsung tv do DTS like the soundbar?
@@eddiechavezjr8623 no, Samsung tvs don't support DTS codecs

spoiler alert on the Bravia theater U; it's awesome if you give it a chance. I am trying to pick 85" Bravia 7 or 77" Bravia 8.

It’s not an issue people are complaining about angles of viewing that are unrealistic like 30 degrees…
No mention of viewing angles and reflection handling?
There would be no sales if it was mentioned lol
Got this tv love it
Yea, i really like it too. What size did you get?
@@SteveDOES I got the 75in
I bought it too in the 55 inch. Love it!
I purchased X90L within 1 year it got Dust issue ( cloud forming on screen) sony is not upto its brand value now , What should i do??
sony bravia 7 vs x95l? ……85 inch
I have this steve

This is sucks cuz it’s only 2 4k 120. HDMI and one is EArc. So if you have 2 consoles, receiver or blu ray player you are screwed.
If you are paying Sony prices shouldn’t you have a avr that as enough inputs so this wouldn’t be an issue?

Can’t afford it, eh? I bet your Sharp tv is better. 😂
Compared to B9 and B8 it is sh!t.
