Loser = Lover is actually a "prequel" to 0x1 = Lovesong.There's a theory that after jump off to that cliff, yeonjun was the only one who survived and the 0x1 lovesong MV came in because yeonjun got depressed because her friends died and the toxic family relationship that he had made him use an anti-depressant to reminisce of the good times he had with his friends and at the end of the 0x1 Lovesong he woke up and realized that everything will never go back again.
TXT is really unique, the long ass titles, the storyline, the concept trailers, the concept photos, the unique choreography, the quality, they don't stick at one genre (exploring music), telling thru music about this generation, versatile and flexible
This music video and the previous one reminds me of BTS's early releases like I Need You. The song gives a similar vibe (not necessarily the sound) to those releases. That vibe was what initially drew me to BTS so I was actually pretty sad when their vibe(?) changed (not that its a bad thing) but I'm so glad Hybe is doing this kind of vibe with TXT. I'm not even lying when I say their releases this year are one of my favourites. Its so good. I love the rock sound they're going for and the members sound AMAZING. To me txt is the perfect blend of shinee and bts with a touch of bigbang, it’s like thhey have the strength I see in all those groups but combined. I became a fan o txt recently after listening randomly to their music in a playlist. Hopefully they continue to grow and develop their colors ( as a groups and individually). I wanna ask a question about the management/promotion of the group for people that follow them more closely. Are they being promoted well?!? It seems sometimes like I don’t hear enough about them.
They were promoted very well but some kpop fans hate them because they were labeled before as "Bts younger brothers" and thinking that it is a privilege. Since their debut they've been hated, start from their debut song, fandom name, their lightstick, their first comeback and also from their health issues. TXT have been a hard time since their debut, I'm not even a moa before but after hearing their music I've been one of their fans. Hope you also hear txt songs cause all of their songs are masterpiece.
The last scene is inspired by a road movie called Louise and Thelma (I think) plus we can see a raod during the entire mv (also coffee place making reference to the diner etc...)
i think the mv is set before 0x1=lovesong and is based on the 90’s movie thelma and louise thelma and louise is about two women who escape their lives and commit crimes. when the police find them they decide not to get caught and drive off the grand canyon

I have been a kpop fan for 12 years already, and I really like TXT because they remind me of the early kpop of 2009-2012 where every song was upbeat but sad if it makes sense ! I'm thinking like Beast Fiction, Infinite BTD or Paradise, MBLAQ this is war, MYNAME baby I'm sorry etc... But what impresses me with TXT is that their songs are not happy at all (not obviously because of the lyrics but more like the melody if it makes sense, their title tracks feel nostalgic), they talk about youth as if they were already old and remeniscing on it and not like if they are young and LIVING their youth (like NCT dream we go up, go etc). I don't know I really feel weird emotions when I listen to TXT, I am so happy I gave them a chance!

That’s super interesting. And for those who haven’t seen IT. The group are losers; aka those who get bullied who band together to fight evil and become lovers instead.
OX1=LOVESONG or LOSER=LOVER one of the two are definitely SOTY for me personally. No song released up until now is anywhere near as good as these. I understand SOTY is more about popularity than how good the song actually is, which is why I sort of wish that SOTY would be judged on 50% popularity and 50% critics choice (preferably 60% critic and 40% fan vote). I think making two categories would be better : SOTY (POPULARITY) SOTY(CRITIC).
