I actually just finished listening to a podcast about this… female hormones transfer to other females via perspiration, and if you’re living or working in the same space your cycles will sync within 3 months. If your cycle is early or late, ask the other ladies. There will be the one that says “no, mine are always regular,” and she’s the one that’s done you in (the scientist on the podcast referred to her as the alpha female, meaning she has the most testosterone). The female body is so amazing and complex!!! I thought it was pretty cool. When living w roommates in college and young adult years this totally happened to us!

I asked my manager what that meant. ALL SHE SAID was put the beer in the bucket. So, that is exactly what I did! I started opening the beer bottles and poured it into the bucket.

At a Renaissance Festival I went with friends dressed as a 15th Century German merchant and pretended I couldn’t speak English. The young guy explaining an exhibit was trying his best to tell me about it, speaking English very slowly. He then had an idea, told me to wait, then brought a friend who had a year in high school. His German was basically speaking English with a “German” accent with a few actual German words. But he was trying so hard that I then began to “understand “. He was so happy and excited. I am sure he told all his friends how he had explained the exhibit in German so a German could understand it.

He had what I would call a very heavy Bronx accent, but according to his family members back home, his accent sounded more "Californianized" to their ears.
People will pick up others accents (some faster than others) even when they are a linguistics professor who deliberately, consciously tries not to. So yeah, it's a human thing.

Your reaction at finally realizing that she threw the baby in the trash bin was classic.
    -
It keeps its feathers on the seat or it will not remain complete.
    -
"Mom, why is the milk in a . . . " -- "Shut up and drink your bag of milk."
    -
When I was in college, I was working in class and absent-mindedly talking to myself using a British accent (yeah, I was a tad odd), and this girl came up to me and wanted to know all about where I came from in England. I was a tad confused, and told her I wasn't English, but she didn't believe me and when she asked, and I told her the name of the town I grew up in . . . "New London". Yeah -- she didn't believe I wasn't from England. Obviously I had the accent down pretty good.

You’re literally becoming a new person, that baby’s parent, & in the beginning, sometimes for a brief moment of inattention, you can forget. It’s super traumatizing. But srsly can we tlk about how odd it is to literally grow a new human inside your body & then spend the next few years completely attached to this dependent life. The hormones involved are crazy. As a Brit.....I congratulate you on a semi decent Brirish accent because the ones in American movies are often awful 😂... also why are we always evil in films....we're lovey I swear! 😊...also we love 'your mum' jokes!😂

I worked at the Renaissance Faire on weekends one summer and the accent spilled over to my weekday job😂
I'd do it at home with my roommates and it became a whole thing😂😂😂💀

As an American with a good ear, I agree! Most actors with British accents can do a pretty good generic American accent (although Southern is harder and not usually pulled off well), but American actors are usually horrible at British accents. 😂

Dude! You want to hear a BUTCHERED accent…. TEXAN! 😱😱😱 Texas is different from just Southern, and each Southern state has its own accent, as a matter of fact. I always ask why they don’t just hire an actor/actress who’s actually FROM Texas???? It’s not as if there is a shortage of them! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Love, love, love a British accent! The ones who make the ‘f’ sound instead of the ‘th’ sound…. Omgoodness! THE BEST THING EVER! ♥️♥️♥️

@@erinshaw6266 what adds to this is the fact that there is so many Texas actors right now. Like I could list a whole page. Just use one of them! I'm sure they'd love to act for you 😭😭
Like there's so many things being filmed in Texas these days, it shouldn't be hard.
