God, this was SO MUCH more clearly explained than the devs. As someone who can’t play that often, I’m excited that I’ll be able to keep up more easily with those who play more often.

Cause I love just using random guns with random setups. Just to add a challenge without being at a serious disadvantage cause the entire lobby are using the same setup they saw in a meta video.

I do like the more realistic approach. Being a gun guy, I have always had beef with attachments and the changes certain mods actually make to guns in real life vs in game. I just hope that they make the damage of .308 guns actually clap people instead of being hit marker city lol.
@@nodd1264 games don't need to swing one way or the other, MW19 shows you don't have to compromise the game to have authenticity. Just because you're a gun nut doesn't mean you want ultra realism in a video game, you still want an engaging experience, it's just that care and detail in games make them stand out from all the generic crap that's released nowadays that forget to put a game inside of the cinematic shit.
That gunsmith video made me realise how much I prefer modern guns. I'm way more excited to see these weapons than the old relics in Vanguard. The attachments and conversions make much more sense in a modern context as well.

It has literally always blurred the line between arcade shooter physics and mil sim animation/graphics. Always. None of this is new, stop trying to gate-keep. How old were you in ‘03?
@@Texasmule They're not though? MW19 was the perfect balance of "milsim" and arcade. I love that IW is trying new things, adding authenticity and shaking up the tired COD formula. If you want the same old arcadey crap we've played thousands of times, there's always the Treyarch and Sledgehammer games.
I think they should use this approach of crafting skins going forward for all skins you can buy in the store, so if you buy a skin for a weapon it applies to all attachments and not just a few selected ones. Certainly more effort would be needed on their side, but I'd argue more people would be interested in skins overall then.
I would much rather just have all the skins that get put in game to be unlocked thru challenge’s instead of buying them. That way it keeps people engaged in the game and gives players something to work towards. Like the grind to unlock them wouldn’t be outrageous. But they can do weekly or monthly challenges for new camos to get every week or month and once the week or month is up you cant get that camo unless they put it back in for the weekly challanges and such. And it wouldn’t even have to be camos that are universal for every gun it could/would be just that class that way it forces you to switch classes instead of just running what ever the meta is. Now you would still be able to buy stuff from the store either character skins, emotes and such or a different weapon variety or variant that way moneyvision an greedyward still get their money. But any camo either base or add on should be unlocked thru challenge’s. I mean you can do drops for camos as well if you really wanted to but you would only have to make it to where you unlock it thru game credits you cannot buy out right but by playing matches or each drop or crate or what ever has a kill counter to unlock or something to that extent. It be way better overall that way everyone can get the camos if they want to or not but dont have to shell out cash they dont have all the while it keeps players playing the game more bc they have stuff to work towards.
I remember making my M4 in MW2019 an SMG and also making it a DMR by changing the stock and ammo type. I can’t wait to do things like change the receiver and being able to change pretty much everything on the gun.
This is great. Working basically 10 hours a day and just becoming a new father my gaming time is going to drop a lot and this way of gunsmith really will help me

I like the new system, it's better than trying to grind the weapons out. I prefer realism and swapping a railed vertical grip between an MLOK handguard and RIS would be a next step. *Magpul RVG comes with the MLOK plate.

You dont need to use a specific weapon each time to unlock everything for it, that helps somebody like me, i do not play often and everytime i played it sucks because i didnt have much unlocked so thank you for this video! I may not be able to purchase the full game, im only downloading warzone 2 and from what you explained i should be able to unlock weapons just by playing warzone!
Another good example would be the scar. Which I believe would’ve been a better weapon to show off since it would be much more easier to understand because the scar only has two receivers, 5.56 and 7.76 and both receivers barely of if at all change the appearance of the weapon.
@@bigcase4449 thankfully with the M16A4 (Base M16) you can give it a smaller barrel and get a Colt M733 unfortunately the M16A2 Doesn’t look possible in the beta at least, Idk about the full game. Unfortunately most of the guns in the beta only have a lvl 1/1 with 0 attachment leveling

Personally I think what they're going with is going to be great. Limitations breed creativity, and in MW2019 I really liked having to pick and choose to tweak my build in the direction I wanted. Maybe having some perk or wildcard that allows a couple more would be a good compromise.
Are weapon vaults replacing blueprints and there was a leak that said special vaults will add bonus stats to your gun like supply drop weapons from advanced warfare
Is there a way to increase the amount of reserve ammo? Attachments like the grenade launcher only have one shot until its pretty much useless until you die. In the MW 2019 you took Fully loaded and your done. I don't see it anywhere in MW2

This game was dope in the beta I didn't pre order yet but I will say the ones who did pre order and had those weapons 9/10 I wouldn't win the gun fight against the FSS hurricane. Also the 3rd person mode is the only mode will play for awhile it was so fun landing throwing knives.
Is it not just a slight reskin of the original wepon kit? Rather than making the attachements look different. Like how some skins did in MW2019. It looks to be the same attachement design with a a splash of red and carbon. Thats a bit of a let down. Would rather the stock actually look different as well as having a skin ontop of it Wouldnt wepon camos cover the skin anyways.
This system seems great to quickly level up a meta weapon, however I just started leveling kastov last night to get rpk, I got rpk but none of the attachments I unlocked with kastov have carried over to the rpk, is this just a glitch?
So, progression is streamlined and also informative pertaining to platforms and manufacturers... interesting. I hate to point out the obvious but unlocking parts for guns and making up custom variants looks strikingly similar to what Fallout 4 did with their armament work benches.
Also with all the new settings that will need changing and considering iPlayer on PS5 is there any content creator you would recommend that plays on that platform to see a console players point of view in regards to all of the settings etc??

Reminds me of the .458 Socom rounds in MW2019, pretty large round that somehow only gets hit markers.

The dgz loadout for the m4 is gonna be op I can tell, I used it 1 match and it beams, I 1 tapped someone with a headshot and I 3 hit to the body

Sounds like camo's for whole classes of guns like blackout instead of gun specific
