Lol the "abc do-re-mi" line has meaning in Jisoo's song, because what she says after relates to it. She sings something along the lines of "abc do-re-mi, I was simple and nice like this". Jimin used the autotune as an artistic choice. This song was about him breaking free of his depression. So the autotune part was supposed to be a different side of him because everyone thinks he's so soft. His solo album it was a completely different side of him. His album is really good and I related to all of the songs going through depression myself
I love love love his song it was so different than any K-pop song I’ve watched so far it was a work of art!! The video with all the dancers in black it was so beautiful to see him at the end in white. & now hearing it was about his depression makes it even more beautiful honestly! My favorite Solo song honestly. ❤❤

I can appreciate using autotune as an artistic choice, but there will be some people who just won't like it and I think that's fine. Certain styles and choices aren't for everyone.

As both army and blink i first suggest you to watch the guide of the members so that you can recognize and understand member well
JK is truly a pop star, he was always want to be one and he be the one. other members approve that JK is the exact definition of a pop star by how he explore music through his solo project esp 3D, we know it gonna be spicy cause JK choose Jack to be featured, Jack rap always that spicyy🥵

My first and only time so far going to Coachella was mainly for BP LOL!! The energy weekend 2 was amazing and surprisingly, there were a lot of non-fans that enjoyed BP's performance. It's a bit funny considering how when they were announced as one of the headliners, a lot of people in the community were against it because of their perception of kpop. But after the two weekends, a lot of people came out of it praising BP for their performance, energy and production. The performance you watched was from 2019 when they first performed at Coachella (so the girls were really nervous since to them, people come to Coachella not specifically for BP but for music overall so the pressure to do good was really felt) and then just 4 years later in 2023, becoming one of the main headliners. It's crazy to see how far they've come!
And I get what you mean by how the girls could go harder with the choreo, but I personally think it's fine if it's not always hard, ya know? There will be some groups that have harder choreo (and believe me, there are GGs that have pretty hard choreo) and others that are more catchy and easier to learn. What I noticed when it comes to choreo between BGs and GGs is how there's some GGs who do all the typical "BG choreo" and there's some GGs who don't. But then, how many BGs out there are doing "GG choreo"? Everything BGs do I've seen GGs do with ease, just as good, or even sometimes better yet a lot of BGs have trouble doing GG choreo without making fun of it, feeling embarrassed, or just changing it completely to be more complex and hard-hitting even when it doesn't fit the song. In the end, I know it's up to the person's taste on what they like to see in choreo but for me personally, GGs have a lot of diversity with choreo because of the reasons I pointed out and I think it's fine if the choreo isn't always going so hard. (EDIT: LOL did not mean to go on a mini rant here at the end 😅)
so glad you were finally able to post! happy you reacted to coachella videos but if you wanna see some more interesting choreos from the pinks i think you would enjoy whistle and as if it's your last! my personal favourite is don't know what to do because it's still a very feminine dance but it's much more complex than their usual ones (best to watch the dance practice version). also you&me is not jenie's official solo it's only a gift she released for blinks after performing it on tour for past year. her solo is called SOLO and was released back in 2018, i would definitely enjoy you deep diving into that era since it's one of the most impactful and iconic solo debuts in kpop. but just in general very excited to watch u do this kpop dive and as i said under your previous video i think you will LOVEEE red velvet as your next gg!🥰

btw, i see you talking about choreography in girl groups. there’s a japanese girl group called XG that debuted last year. you’ll love their songs and dance performances. it’s quite different and heavier than what’s expected from girl groups.
trust me there are a lot of girl groups with intricate choreography. bp is just not one of them. i would recommend itzy and recent twice MV. Other than that i would recommend you watch RUN BTS live in Busan , and black swan live performance

You should check out Spring Day from BTS, also make sure to watch the explanation behind the MV. The symbolisms and the attention to details in the MV is insane. You could also watch the dance practice to this MV, the choreography is also top tier

For Jimin ppl told you already autotune is never used bc he needs it, it's just another tool, in this case to distinguish the two voices inside of him or the voice of the hate he received/gave himself before he was "set free"
I love both groups there amazing in there own ways. I love bts they are absolutely incredible men and just phenomenal dancers as well their choreography goes absolutely hard.

One of the things I like most about Blackpink is that they aren’t dance focussed. Lisa is one of the best dancers in the industry and the other 3 members can do their thing, but what separates them from most groups is their stage presence and star quality. They aren’t back up dancers, they’re performers; and heck, they perform the hell out of those songs. In the Kpop world Blackpink is known for their unmatched presence on stage, particularly Jennie. Rosé is dubbed as the ‘Golden Voice of Korea’ - a title given to her by the Korean media, as well as fans, and Jisoo is known for her crazy visuals, as well as her great acting skills. The four of them together create the biggest and most successful girl group Asia has ever seen and one of the most iconic groups of all time.
They are icons!! Best girl group 🩷🩷

The autotune in Jimin’s song it’s an artistic choice. Army knows how beautiful his voice is but I understand that to people who are new to his music it can be a little off 😅
The amount of misinformation in your comment section is crazy. It's always difficult to do multiple groups at the same time cause it tends to breed fanwars and antis when on fandom feels you're giving more attention to the other. Just scrolling through your comment section I can see that you don't want to encourage bullying which is good but it probably won't stop. I really wish you the best in discovering as many groups as you want. I don't know you but just a little advice.
Take it slow. I would recommend not incorporating too many groups at the same time cause kpop is so wide and overwhelming. If you can give each group they're own time too that would be great so you can get fans on that group to give you information firsthand also so that you can keep the toxic people to a minimum. I'm not trying to be rude just a suggestion.

I will anyday choose typegirl choachella performance than any other dancing video. I like when artists incorporate their countries dance style, that's so artistic. There is also more to the only pleasing ur eyes.

TBH, I wasn't struck by Jisoo's song, but I know many rave over it - she is actually a really, really good vocalist, with an impressive range as can be heard on "The Happiest Girl" - note, you may need tissues when first listening to it, judging by some other reactors.
I agree the song choice may not have been the best - but we all have different tastes, and that's a VERY good thing.

This was 100% new. 0.0 I am like stunned. Shoock really. Go Jimin!!! No one but Anitra @saywhatreacts and Rosan @xCeleste has mentioned he used some aspects of Lie choreo in his new song. And ON vibes for sure. ON inspo. Heard this was the last song in his 1st Face album. Like dang! 0.0 So glad u loved it. =0} So much symbolism too. So deep. I adored the dance practice! Oh my gosh. Some choreo reminded me of Jackson Wang song called Blow. The more i watch the more i find things i did not notice on the 1st watch. The body tat German poem is beautiful and very fitting. Heard Sienna Lalau worked on this choreo. Not sure if she created alone or with a team though. UCLA choir was used again. They use them all the time on songs. The spiral/ the golden ratio, shell, 9, metaphors used as usual. The moon series of tats on his back is real. His Nevermind tat on his ribs is real and his 13 tat on his wrist is real too. The German poem on his chest tat was temporary. Jimin also has a 7 tat bet. his fingers on one hand. He has young forever tat above his elbows and youth behind his ear. I think the dancers in black could represent the doubts, fears and lack of confidence that he suffered at the start. And the autotune voice represents that angry, frustrated inner voice.

I think this is directed inward. He used to be weighed down by trying to be manly enough, good enough, worrying about what others thought and was crazy hard on himself. So happy that he’s at peace and comfortable with who he is. He’s such a beautiful artist. 💜

In my, of course, unbiased opinion this is the best debut among the guys, and that is saying something given how much I truly love Indigo and Jack in the Box. People were floored when they saw JHope's More. It was surprising in a way but also so on brand for JHope. Jimin, well. He has been painted as this polite, funny, and charming guy and I believe those are all true, but he has a soul of an artist. People are thrown off by the auto-tune which is used as an effect to show his inner dialog and opinions from others that have caged him. His response to these things is his singing/rapping voice in a register many have not experienced. I can't think of many that have taken so much hatred. It is now his time to shine and be fully and authentically himself. I am so excited for the album and his live performance on Jimmy Fallon's show.

I highly recommend watching the live version of BTS song Your Eyes Tell if you want to really hear their vocals. Also their live performance at the 2019 MMAs or their Grammy performances. They are amazing live! They are the kings of K-pop.

To know more about them do a blackpink guide reaction. Majority of them 3-4 different languages fluently , english is obviously fluent so base on that they train and work really hard. Also don’t assume when a kpop member sings or rap in korea they are native born korean. A lot of them comes from different countries but became a kpop trainee and studied the korean language there. Lisa of blackpink is not korean at all and speak 4-5 different languages

If you like to have more dancing then there’s many other girl groups focusing on dance. You should check them out. BP does focus on dance but it’s not their main priority. I prefer that way, YGe is their company and their main priority for their groups aren’t dancing.
