i only donated there once. I really doubt it actually helps because they seem to suffer bandwidth issues in the second half of the year.. I've even made a point on my calendar
@@JohnCodes Besides the WayBack Machine is cached info only, and does *not* scrap downloads, so its just a read-only to view... people don't go to IA to only view books.

My email address was pawned as well being Gmail of course, but since i'm not registered i get no details about "which" site it was... I like these services... they offer this for free, but then if you want to know the juicy stuff i gotta sign up to it.. How we we know the ones giving you the info, arn't't double dipping? i.e selling your email off behind the scenes and saying "it's all good"

Very unlikely. What they disclosed was accessed is bcrypt encrypted / salted passwords which were probably passwords at rest in their DB / infra.
