Feels like this solves the problem that the Regals have imo which is that the passenger seats in the salon on the main deck sit below the bottom of the windows. Difficult to see the water. Very good design of the U lounge here. Beneteau are the packaging kings.
Yes the life onboard from the entire cockpit is a very enjoyable space on this boat. I suspect this is going to be a top seller for Beneteau as the boat really does make life easy for those onboard.
My favorite boat in this segment. The use of real glass window and door instead of covers makes it a great boat for the Swedish climate. We had 16-19C most of July (which should be peak summer) with lots of rain and wind. 😢😂 It’s up to you now August!
Always amazes me that people view these yachts as just like a sports cruising day boat and that is not the purpose of thse at all. They were just like the GT, or Grand Touring cars in Europe. A fast car meant to get you and all your luggage to the hotel or resort for a few days or even a month of 'holiday'. I love the Grand Turismo yachts from Beneteau. For only being 45' ,its a comfortable yacht for a weekend or a week and maybe longer. Definitely not the Grand Trawler 62, but it's a different type of yacht too. I would say that maybe a Galeon or Riviera would be great choices as well a d certainly my first choice. A Cruisers yacht or even the Absolute 48 would also be excellent choices, but it's also a much bigger yacht. These are like the Sunseeker Predator Evos, or an older Fairline 52'. A nice Grand Touring yacht
I think it's because in Sydney we are surrounded by beautiful natural environment so everyday feels like a holiday. People go to the beach before work and at lunch and sailing after work here. That means they will do more day boating than perhaps people in other cities would on average I suspect. We are not getting on a plane to Mallorca for example it's just a case of walking down to the marina and you're straight into the beauty of the harbour. But yes you are right the actual purpose is for longer stays which people do as well
.Could make a good dive boat with the dive gear stored in the garage. Climbing back into a boat can be difficult but with the swim platform you coulod fin onto the swim plarform but the controls are too far a way. It needs a waterproof switch on the swim platform to operate it. The joy stick should be placed closer to the window to enable you to use it from the side deck for docking. By the way excellent camera work as people tend to pan to quickly and having to film without editting is difficult. Hey Dan, can we please have the measurements in Australian ie metric. Having the measurements in a foreign language is a bit annoying.
While i'm still doing everything myself i'll just mention the measurements that I have memorised but yes one day when i've got a team i will put both up there for you guys for sure.
I appreciate your attempt to give as much information as possible given the confines of a video as well as a smaller sized boat, but why do you take the time to show every hatch cover in the deck and never bother to demonstrate how the large doors and sunroof look once closed? Can't you leave those (important) but tiny access panels for the technical/ test video? Instead, we just have to take your opinion of the appearance and practicality of those huge but overlooked areas. Thanks
Does low-rent mean lower quality...? If that's what you mean then I would say you find a more production line quality on all Group Beneteau interiors. Very clever designs and usage of space and they look nice but the timbers and upholstery etc is not of the quality of what you would find on a Chris Craft or even a Regal for example. The processes they are using are more geared up for high volume production at Group Beneteau so you will see a lot of replicaiton of parts across the brands from Prestige to Beneteau. It's totally fine for the intended purpose they have been built for and the pricing is always good but yes - you can find better quality. I'll just finish by saying the re-sale on boats like this is generally pretty good so for a boat that you want to turn over you can generally achieve this with minimal loss
Haha that's my mate Micah! I don't actually have a cameraman I just give the camera to whoever is with me on the day and try to coach them on how to follow me
Yo, what's all that anxiousness and breathlessness all about 😅 Make me a bit nervous watching you do the presentation! Shudn't luxurious be paired with chill, calm and slower paced walk through 😅 Chill down next time, bru ✌️ P.S shud have turned on the gyro as well 😂
I am betting you - were pro covid lockdowns - are voting yes in the referendum - can’t afford a bicycle let alone a boat - are either a woman named Karen or a man who believes he is a woman named Karen 😊😊
They work hard packing everything into these boats

No worries, I hope they bring you some joy. So sorry to hear about your cancer. Hopefully the tide is about to turn for you.

The government should mandate longer holidays if July is below 20C. That is literally our winter temps - i'd be asking for a refund on summer
My dad helped design this! So cool that people are pleased about the small details he helped include😊

Dan, maybe I've got the wrong idea about getting one of those adventure boats....
Dan, can the Beneteau 45 hold a William mini jet in the tender garage?
I think the garage is more like 2.3m which is too small for the Mini Jet at 2.8m. So better for small inflatables or toys

Nice boat, wish I could afford it. May I ask how much?
Have to be around 1.2-1.4
The price is listed in the description of the video. "PRICE - Base Price - $936,000 AUD - As Tested - $1,410,633 AUD"
Very nice, but no ice maker.
An option i'd say
Do boats of this size have fresh water makers? Also can a stabilizer be fitted?
Yes and yes. I suspect Quick Gyro would make sense.

Good feedback Stephen i'll keep that in mind for next time.
Dan, are the interior materials / wood etc a touch low-rent? They always look like they might be on boats from this brand
Thoughts?

A lot of boat for 45ft 🇬🇧
For the algorithm 🤘🏽💪🏽😅
"Remember all those boats you had in the past?" 🤣🤣 No, no I don't. 😅🤷🏻♂️
Haha ok well you have to start somewhere then
you could get a princess 57 with a seakeeper for the same price second hand
Why compare new to second hand? I got an Azimut Atlantis 50 at 685,000 last year, loaded, that was worth 1.7 mil when new.
Inflation
I would like to test some good used boats one day however
That camera person is drunk 😅
Haha that's my mate Micah! I don't actually have a cameraman I just give the camera to whoever is with me on the day and try to coach them on how to follow me
"promosm"
Not sure what that means?

Chill down next time, bru ✌️
P.S shud have turned on the gyro as well 😂
Just watch Aquaholic if I annoy you - he's super chill
Destroy the planet you're looking at with this hugely carbon intensive caravan of the sea.
It's actually more carbon intensive to produce a tesla battery than the Volvo's in this boat.
I am betting you
