Tim singing tenor gives me life. Not having a fuzzy low note from him would normally be a letdown, but these harmonies were amazing. Peter (all of them) was absolutely amazing as usual. Beautiful arrangement.

YES, the greatest song of the 70s; still stings my eyes with tears. Tim has been having fun with his NON-bass register: "My Maria" has him soaring through the tenor/soprano range as if them high notes weren't no big thang. . .

My nephew got married the day this came out. He and his mom danced to the original version of this song at the reception. I hadn't heard the song in years, but apparently it was the day for it...
My grandfather used to always sing this song to me. Thank you for always keeping him with me
I can't decide which I like more, Tim's long brown hair or this shorter hair with the silver streak. He looks great either way, and I do love a silver fox!
Perfect timing. My 9 year old daughter had to stand outside for half an hour waiting for someone to pick her up. Both of us are at work and couldn't answer our phones. Apparently she may have been exposed there at school. So, now I am getting a second job so my wife can stay home and homeschool. That way WE can teach our children well ourselves!
And before people come at me, yes, I understand safety for everyone there. What about my daughter's safety?!? She may now be sick and they made her stand outside for over 30 minutes! Luckily an aunt was able to get her.

This song came out in 1969-70. it was a time of internal conflict in our country not unlike what we are going through now. I was 17-18 and my high school had riots. Parents and their children were in conflict over what was going on in this country. It was a disturbing time. This song always had a special meaning to me. Hope for a future where we could disagree with love. It's something I strongly believe in. The best way to get your point across is with love. thank you for your beautiful rendition and for reviving this important message. ---abbyzee
I was home-educated and this was a favourite song of one of the other home-educating mothers, who died suddenly in 2011

What a truly beautiful lesson that we can all learn by.
We come into this world without a clue about how we are supposed to navigate its pleasures and pitfalls. We need all the support we can get to learn how to follow our own path. Even when we have mastered just one part of this shrubbery maze - BANG - an event occurs, that somehow knocks us right back and some of what we learned has to be relearned.
It's an ever changing journey and we need support all the way through it.

Peter; you, Tim and the all of Home Free are blessed with the best vocal talent and harmonics I would be overjoyed to hear you perform Finlandia Hymn in English and Finnish. Sebelius wrote "This is our Song" during the Soviet Occupation. When the music began to play people would spontaneously stand and sing enmasse. I can close my ears and just hear your voices blending. Please just prove me right.

Not a parent, but this song makes me think of all the things in life I have to prepare. And i'm glad that I had a parent that was able to teach me all I know now for my future. Others may not be so fortunate, so this makes me grateful

The hand off of the main tune going high and mid range between you and taking yhe harmonies above with Peter, and below with Tim was genius; and frankly, quite beautifully arranged. Absolutely astounding arrangement. Well done on both the arrangement and execution.
This would be an excellent song to have as an "alarm" to wake to and start your day off on a beautiful note. I'll have to find a way to record or buy it so I can put it in my phone and set it as my alarm.
