Zinedin Aldiyarov and the best Paladin decks most recently have been aggressive not just now but also with Odd Paladin (which still exists and is good in Wild)

I've just been running quest Rez priest to deal with all the aggro, I even fatigued a deathrattle rouge who over committed onto the board and even if they didn't I had another plague of death anyway

But I will say grave runes has been the best new card in the deck, it's good on basically any minion except vargoth, it's saved the game for me multiple times, threw it on a kartut defender and healed for 20, threw it on the 2/14 taunt divine shield and had a impenetrable wall, so yeah it's a must in the deck for me.
I'm kinda new to hearthstone rank climbing... but isn't me or rank 25 to 5 isn't the same game as rank 5 to legend? I only face Face Hunter, Galakrond Lock and Treant Druid from rank 25 to rank 12...
Well on rank 5 up there is more "fun" decks. From rank 5 you can't fall down, same for legend so at that point people starts messing around more. Worst ladder meta is at ranks 6-11. I climbed today a little bit from rank 23 to 10 because i beat Silvername at casual (seems he didn't want to test stuff at legend) and he joked i'm losing him views (of course wasnt streaming xd) so i messed around for a while. Overall till 14 was normal and than started pop up handbuff rogue with face hunter all day long. 80% games from rank 14 to rank 10 were against those 2. Some Galazoo and pirate warriors overall as well but not many and i haven't seen single token druid. Galazoo and pirate warriors are pretty easy to beat so no biggie, but when rogue gets their apo on 4/5 or face gets dream opener its tough ;/ I haven't seen single shaman as well which kinda suprises me tbh.
The decks are the same, the skill and the level of mistakes isn't. That's why when you use a Blessing of Might on an Alextraza that would die in a trade, higher rank players will seriously get confused.

This is why aggro is OP. Sure, you can make a deck that has maybe 80-90% win rate against face decks but what's the point of running it if it has 10% win rate against everything else
Exantius E No, aggro is part of the food chain as mid/tempo/combo and control. It's Rock Paper Scissors since the birth of the game. Saying aggro is op makes 0 sense just like saying control is op. Without aggro you would be locked in a cancer value/combo metagame like Jadedruid and Razakus metas, where nothing except those with the best endgame tools is viable. One day you guys will fucking understand it and stop complaining about "cancer" and "braindead decks"

We have had a handful of metas where control received such overwhelmingly powerful tools (and aggro received so few tools) that aggro disappeared for a while, but in most metas the best decks have been aggro And btf the traditional card game trinity isn't aggro-midrange-control, it's aggro-control-combo. Control is supposed to counter aggro, but since aggro is so dominant in Hearthstone the counter to it is another aggro deck that's a little slower

That was a healthy metagame. Having one of the three parts missing is, again, unhealthy. If you look closely I grouped combo/tempo/mid as the group that gets beaten by aggro but beats control, since, no, aggro always beats another slower clone. Aggro is essential for balance. I'd prescribe a couple of months where you're forced to play 20min games and lose to random clownfiesta near the end, but sadly I cannot. And do note that hitting face doesn't mean aggro, the definition is a high risk high reward style of play, vomiting resources and hoping for no counter. The majority of the aggressive decks in hs' history tended more to the midrangy/tempo style, which explains why they were harder to stop.
I am rank 6 with a midrange *paladin paladin* deck, it is nice to see the trump's trend of ruining decks by making them too greedy (and out of focus on this specific example) 😂

No joke, I was playing dragon warrior and managed to get nozari, and I actually was able to use him to win along with the Zilliax, sweeping strikes, armor mech combo. So I basically was able to Reno back to full health twice.

He could've hit the divine shield with dagger and then hero powered for fresh daggers to give the minion Charge back if Kangor was a real concern.

he couldn't kill Kangor in game 2, he had to have the weapon equipped to have charge, so he couldn't pop Divine Shield then hit it.
He did have the mana to re-equip after hitting the divine shield if he'd really wanted to.
Charge cards have always been very fun to play against and should DEFINITELY not get HoF’d of anything.
Wouldn't want all that fun and interactiveness taken away. /s
