- WARNING - This process will delete everything on your HDD.
This video will resolve two issues with the installation process:
1. Windows cannot be installed to this partition.
2. Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x8007025D

Didn't work for me. After attempting to clean it, the screen prompts " Virtual Disk Service error: Clean is not allowed on the disk containing the current boot, system, pagefile, crashdump or hibernation volume." Any suggestions please? 😮
Reboot your pc then boot windows and directly ( shift + f10 ) and follow these step 😊

@@memow645 Well, for me it was cus of a bootleg flash drive. My friend came over with a Sandisk to fix it.
This didn't fix my problem, but I learned about pressing Shift+10 to enter a command prompt during windows installation, so that's useful.

When creating the 'USB boot driver' the 'Partition scheme' has to be set to 'MBR' in order for this fix to work... I used Rufus to created my UBS booth drive, set the partition scheme to MBR to create the boot disk, then formated the HD & followed his steps & it should work for you to :)

This sorta helped fix the issue. with my first USB media creation tool, this did not help. I created a 2nd USB media creation tool. then followed your provided steps. this time it worked. I'm not sure if the new USB or the clean\convert MBR did the trick, but I am happy I got windows installed. thanks for the video.

What I did was just burn the ISO to a DVD instead of USB and that work for me!!!!! :D

MBR conversions can ONLY be done with WinPE repair disk, NOT with Windows 10 disks - AND - MBR isn't valid as a Windows 10 install anyway it seems. Right back where we started after 2 hours.

when converting it, it deletes all of your drive. And if you download it again it downloads as FAT32. How did you manage to make it work?

Every channel on yt has the same solution but it doesn't work for me . I tried converting to mbr to gpt, unplugging unnecessary things, making new bootable pendrive, nothing works

On ASRock X570 Steel Legend, I deleted all disk partitions, pressed Shift + F10 to open command prompt, type ‘diskpart’, type ‘select disk 0’ or whichever disk you want to install to, type ‘clean’, then type ‘convert gpt’. I hope this can help someone

Ran across this in google search for this error. Had bad Win 10 update corrupt my registry. Followed steps on Microsoft website to create USB boot disk for fresh install and kept getting stuck. This totally fixed my install issue by clearing the drive. Big thanks on this.

@@fancytwice7230 Yeh I did so the issue for me was I have an ssd & hdd. So when loading windows & it shows wich disk space to load on. Make sure to clean/delete/close any partition available. So the "windows box is blank" say refresh & after that u should se a space/partition wich Is the ssd/hdd u want to load on to & continue the process. Hopefully this helps as it fixed my issues.🤙🏻

Hi there!
Before installing I converted my disk to GTP from MBR and then tried to install windows but got this error instead.
Now when try to convert disk from MBR to GTP I get error ' the operation is not allowed on a disk that contains a pagefile volume'.
What should I do now please help

Guys if you're having problems try switching to USB 2.0 and the device windows is being installed from.
I used my External hard drive + followed the instruction in the video and I got success.
If this doesn't work follow Ricardo Kinson reply under dello abusayaf comment. While also switching devices.

If this does not work for you, REMOVE THE RAM STICK and REPLACE IT With another WORKING RAM STICK start from the beginning and it will work fixes errors regarding cant clean drive, as well as cant convert to gpt or other issues, trust me as crazy as it sounds just try it, let us know if it works

Usefull to know: you have to get only one partition left next to your harddrive deviced bevor going to command center. Now it worked! 😏😎

This is what i did i hope it can help anyone.
So you need to have a usb bootable drive for your windows to install then go bios just up the flash drive and save then install the windows in the partition disk format all partition the delete until only one unallocated partition left. Then type in your keyboard "SHIFT F10" to enter command promp and Type "Diskpart" enter
Type "list disk" type select disk 0 or what ever disk you have there. Then type clean after that type convert gpt. And then enter and after that exit then exit.. and you should next only the unlocated parition to install and you wont get any error. Thank you so much for this videoo

So I decided to scroll down the comments and I found you. I did it exactly the way you did it with the gpt partition instead of mbr. It worked like a charm. Thank you, the method was applied and I was able to install the system, but I have a D disk that no longer exists. I have two hardiskes, one space 1000 and a second 500 Now, only one disk space is available 1000

i solved it you need to restart your pc and boot the windows installation keep going like you are about to install the windows but there is a section that told you to "where do you want to install windows" here you can see the drivers delete all of them then try what on the video

If you still have same error code problem, your computer have a bad ram. Mine works if i remove my second ram. Try remove your bad ram and format your computer again, if you have 1 ram. You need to borrow another computer ram or buy a new one.
