I've never been big on rap. I'm not comfortable enough technically with the skills involved in rap to separate good from bad. I primarily listen to metal/prog rock. But this guy is a gem in the dirt. So down to earth. I will be checking this guy out. Thanks for the videos

Tyler Davis I haven't heard of Protest the Hero before but after giving them a bit of a listen I like the sound. They remind me of a band called Thank You Scientist. They have a kinda similar sound but less heavy and more Jazzy. They come off a little weird at first but they are one of my favourite bands.

King Los is often compared to his peers like j coke and Kendrick, but in all honesty, lyrically, he's beyond them. He's in the bus driver and lupe realm. He literally doesn't have a weak area as a lyricist.( perhaps as an artist). That line about metaphysics is some next level shit. When I first heard this a month ago. I was amazed at how much he's improved

You guys haven't heard Rainbow yet, so I'd 100% start with Stargazer by Rainbow, from the Rising Album. Dio on vocals, Cozy Powell on the drums, Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, Jimmy Bain on Bass and Tony Carey on the keyboard.

I agree Tessi and I also admit I am guilty of that. It's not everyday we find someone outside our respective music tastes who are so willing to give anything a play and an honest opinion of it. I mean they sat through Meshuggah, that takes an extremely open mind. I think alot of us are just so eager to share what we like we forget to say thanks or show support on their other vids. It's a shame too as this track speaks so much truth about the music industry not just rap. Almost every genre has their own version of a "Short Bus Rapper"

You guys are absolutely right. The over saturation of garbage artist is part of the reason I stopped listening to as much rap/hip hop but this channel has me back into it and searching for real talent like this. And it's not just this genre of music that it's happening to it's across the board but if you really take the time and look there is some real talent out there that deserves recognition. Being 34 I feel like you could see this trend happening in late 90's and early 00's where the artistry started to drop but I'm sure others saw it coming sooner. As usual Walk With Me In Hell by Lamb and Ignition by Trivium. Also love how much Ryan lost his shit with this song and c'mon George short bus artist lol...that had me busting up.
