can this work with multiple titles? for example, let's say that you have 3 titles in a row along the z axis. and as the camera is pulling back in the scene, a title that was offscreen is now on the screen. if the camera pulls back far enough, you will see all the titles on the screen simultaneously.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. for the text in shot 2, you just turn each layer to 3D, hit the cube icon. Then move the pivot point to the tops and animate the rotation coming down. I made a kinetic text lesson here: ruclips.net/video/TXbM-6w19eU/видео.html I will try and do another tutorial to include this. Hi, if you rewind about ten seconds I demonstrate selecting some tracking points then right click and choose "create null and camera" this is what gets created and attaches to these points. A null is an invisible object we can now parent anything too. Did you watch from the beginning where I go through everything, how to track the scene etc?
Hey, sorry I am not sure, I use PC workstations. If your laptop is not that old it should work ok. It also depends on the video footage you are tracking, if its 4k for example it will take longer. Thanks for watching, I hope the tutorial helped

It could be a few things. Do you see it as a layer in the stack? If you text is a 3d layer it maybe out of view in 3d space. Change you camera to top, side and custome views and zoom out to see. Is it behind another object in z depth? Also check the font Let me know if you resolved this, thanks
Hi, this sounds like a hardware issue... how much ram do you have? in the preferences try and set a scratch disk up, and look at a few videos for optimising AE performance, let us know if you fix it, thanks
Hey, sure no worries, if you listen to what I say I the video, I have used the built in "mocha AE version" plugin to key out part of the building, on a separate layer, then I drag this to the top so its over the tracked text, making it look like the text is behind. I mention I will try and do a small tutorial on doing this with MochAE when I have time. I haven't used it much but it was great for this, thanks

Hi, yes, you can use the built in cinem4d renderer in after effects, or use something like Element 3D. The latest AE even accepts obj 3d models. And there are other extrusion plugins out there. I now have a discord community channel just launched if you want to join: discord.gg/g6REvhbWGP 🙂
Hi thanks, you can literally just import a PSD into after effects, even a layered one. You can also copy and paste text from Photoshop to AE, I hope that helps

Great video, shame you don't expand on the Mocha AE plugin though as that adds to the effect and was what I needed to try

Hi, If you are setting up your video in after effects then yes you can use this method. You can track and add anything really.

My computer is so slow when using 3D tracker I have MacBook Pro 2020… is that maybe the reason

Hi thanks, you can literally just import a PSD into after effects, even a layered one. You can also copy and paste text from Photoshop to AE, I hope that helps
