I’d recommend if you’re going for a windows tablet and don’t mind spending more, I’d recommend the minisforum v3, it’s $900 on sale right right now, but you get 32gb of ram, 1TB of storage, and performance equivalent to the rog ally. It’s an insane deal because a surface pro with those specs is like $2300
This is an amazing laptop/tablet for school. Perfect for an artist starting out :D. Definitely want that 12GB of RAM. Any laptop that has 8GB of RAM or less should be seen as a crime against humanity. Also pupper
The sound is terrible and the battery life is simply unacceptable to the point you can't use the tablet on go. 3hrs is a fucking absolute max you can get on idle with backlight set to min. 1.5‐2hrs real light use. Running any kind of benchmarks or heavy use will reduce it to a miserable half an hour. Well, the battery is 4400mah, smaller than my S23 Ultra smartphone! This is not how you build tablets, chuwi. Otherwise pretty good tablet, if you have a power oulet with you on go.
@@mikv8Can you please give me a status update on how it is currently holding up? I heard that they stop working after a while or that they will develop some kind of issues. I only want to use it to watch videos and studying.
Hi Beau or anyone reading this, I am looking for a 13 inch tablet to use as my second monitor for my G16, as the G16 has an OLED screen I dont want to use it much for media consumption etc, which means specs is not too important but how cheap it is matters to me, at the moment I am thinking of buying the Lenovo P12, this Chuwi seems good too but it seems a little on the thicker side, do you recommend any tablets that can do the job at a reasonably low price, again I will primarily use it as a second monitor
@@TechGuyBeau no Im actually looking for an LCD but with good enough brightness, so I dont use my Laptops OLED screen as much for media consumption and basic tasks, anything you’d recommend?
I had chewi once and omg it was terrible. I know comparison is not fair but for this money you can have used surface pro 7 which is miles better than this.
It's weird on Amazon the surface pro 7 is bizarrely expensive even on the resale market. I'm sure it's probably a little better on eBay. The issue though is with used surfaces is if you want to first party keyboard back and double your cost. I suppose you could rely on a Bluetooth one
@@rafi6618yeah I mean I think most people would at least insist on getting 8 GB of RAM version not the four. But even still i-510 versus contemporary n100. I mean none of them are going to be good for graphically intense projects anyways so it's pretty much going to even out in terms of workflow.

Enough for some, but even junior lvl development or whatever math-python it would suck like crazy
@@PKperformanceEU Oh yeah, for any level of development, this laptop/tablet would shit the bed light on fire.
Great Video! Cute puppy :3

i'm thinking buying this for starters but later buy mini pc, can i use this as a monitor for that mini pc?
i'd say wait it out then get a minipc with better specs and a better monitor. but other than that, yes you can do that
i am curios how it looks like from inside
Any opinions about this device?

the base model i3 1005g1 on surface pro 7 is not better than n100
You need to provide more information instead of just saying it's bad. The problem there might not be the product; it might be you.

Can you change the ssd?
Yes but you’d need to pry it open. I wasn’t willing to do that
