They nerfed the amount of grenades you could bring because grenade spam is too op. Its highly unlikely that they will add grenade launchers unless they make it an ultimate ability. It would still be op though.

XD MORE FEARSOME THAN THE KRABER, MORE FEARSOME THAN A GARGANTUAN RONIN THUMPING HIS WAY TOWARDS YOU, MORE THAN BEING LITERALLY LASERED INTO ASHES BY A RONIN >^< That's because it fires so insanely fast, once someone with good aim starts firing at you with it at close range, you're as good as MEGA DEAD. There's literally no escaping out because you'll be dead in literally half a second barely before you can even REACT to it. That's also why I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT TO DEATH, BOTH IN TITANFALL 2 AND APEX. SUCH A SEXY SOUNDING SMG THAT ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE MINIGUN XD. THE CACOPHONY OF BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR in the air turns me on.
It is a war crime against gaming that Titan Fall hasn't achieved franchise status. Apex Legends proves its such a rich world it can support multiple sub genres of the FPS, and its standard campaign and multi-player are not only the closest we've ever gotten to a Heavy Gear game since the mid 90s, but remains a mix of high speed agility pilot combat and lumbering titan action no other FPS has even dared try. Come on devs. The greatest sci-fi weapons since Aliens. Mecha with personality. Gameplay perfectly balanced between two selectable extremes. Heck. I may even make Apex my first Battle Royale.

Why couldn't they have put all of Titanfall's guns in Apex? Would've added lots of variety and interesting combat scenarios. An Apex game with every Titanfall gun would have been interesting (with obvious exclusion of Titan Weapons)

there is this WEIRD BUG IN TITANFALL 2, whether the firing sound effects for the bullets get desynced with the ACTUAL AMMO COUNT, CAUSING THE FANS TO SOUND LIKE IT SHOT MORE OR FEWER BULLETS THAN WERE ACTUALLY IN THE GUN. This bug varies from weapon to weapon. the volt clearly has 33 bullets in the mag yet the game renders 34 bullet sounds. the spitfire is worse, having 80 bullets in the mag, but the gage only renders 77 BULLET SOUNDS! AND THE R99! IT'S SO HORRIBLY DESYNCED! IT ONLY HAS A 40-ROUND MAGAZINE BUT THE GAME AUDIO RENDERS 50 SHOTS! WHAT IS WITH THIS INSANE AUDIO DESYNC INCONSISTENCY?!? THE ONLY WEAPONS THAT DON'T SUFFER FROM THIS BUG ARE SINGLE SHOT WEAPONS, (IE. SHOTGUNS, SNIPERS, ROCKET LAUNCHERS)
