what if you score high in CAT , but your performance before in academics was average and you don't have money to pay the fee even if you get selected ? Haven't seen anyone talk about it.
If acads are bad, there is less chance of selection. Despite all that, if you do get selected in a top IIM, please take an education loan and go ahead. Even if you take 4 years to pay it off, the rest 30+ years of your professional life, you'll be sorted, no?
@@Priyanka..111 I know about the loan but I'll go the executive mba way, the scores of school and college doesn't matter that much there as the work experience counts
There is another girl’s interview on insideIIM I think she scored somewhere around 98% and went to IIMA. It’s not only the percentile which counts it’s your education what you scored in your undergrad your interview everything counts.
I'm from commerce background... My 10th score was 90% & 12th score was 92.6% ... & doing bcom hons....Chances fr top IIM's , XLRI Or other top institutes???
Can a person from a not so well know engineering college get into IIM ABC?? Asking for a friend, he is from cluster innovation centre, Delhi University
@@madhurigupta9165 but then why every iim has 50% students from IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS? And the other 10-15% engineers are there would be from other premium colleges like DTU,NSUT etc. Are you absolutely sure that college tag does not matter ?? In the PI round as well?

Hi Rupa. I've always believed that it's not about the score but knowing the potential. No college is good or bad as a lot is about self as well. For me, it simply was about attaining my potential and not giving myself a reason to regret.
cat and iit exams are nothing in front of ics exams . ics exam is the most most difficult exam in the world . .no other exam is even comparable to civil service exam .

Life also doesn't go to the point always brother.There will be many aspirants who are getting all resources on their table but there are also many aspirants who hustle for getting the resources and environment.Life is not same for everyone,maybe for an aspirant it's just and exam and for that he is getting all the things but for other they have to struggle to find the environment and all.So we should learn from others life too.And we should think from others perspective too.

College brand doesn't matter. What matters is your academic background .
