In Germany they were called "Strich Acht" (Strich = slash, Acht = eight) because the year they were first built: 1968. This one is also one of the very first.

For a modern car, surviving 10 years and 200.000 km., avoiding a major breakdown around 100.000, is a great goal. For a car like this Mercedes, 200.000 km. it is literally time to bring it to the dealer for the first service.
