I worked for the Indiana Department of transportation. For 37.5 year and when they stared buying International trucks with the Dt 466 it was a a whole new thing. My favorite truck was commission number 8508 I loved that truck .
The last good one was made in 1995…full mechanical!…after that they had the DT466E…still good hard parts and rotating assembly, but way more complicated and not as reliable and way more expensive to fix!..
Yes then international took to shit will they b known for the DT Or the Max force crappie engine with multiple law suits sad international u had it so good ur only option now is to re name or rebrand because the real ones are staying away from ur dealers oh wait they have to go back for repairs warranties
What the fuck are you talking about? There are V8 diesel’s with millions of miles on them that are still on the road. My 7.3 idi is 36 years old and still fires up reliably in -20 weather
These were simple, rugged, and powerfu. A dweet piece of machinery.

Had one in a dumptruck. What an amazing motor and cheap on fuel. What my highway truck burned in a day this engine would work the entire week.
😂 Had this engine . Never would have another one 🎉🎉🎉🎉
