- I crossed Abbey Road just like the Beatles! A main stay at the top of my bucket list has always been the Beatles Abbey Road in London. I have a deep connection to the album, being my most played album ever, ever, ever. The photo itself is iconic and has always left a lasting impression on me. This is just something I've always wanted to do.
It's easy to get there. You take the Tube to St.Johns Wood and walk up the street for 5-10 minutes. You'll notice the tourists. Its a bit of a challenge snapping the perfect photo as the cars are understandably impatient. But that just adds to the charm of the location. Be sure to check out Abbey Road Studios just down the street. This is the ultimate rock and roll experience and recommend it to anyone!

When I got there nobody was there, I thought I had the wrong place...Got some great photos and a angry look off an approaching red bus.
I am a huge fan of the Beatles and I will take a photo at Abbey Road in next january.

Who knows if you’ll ever see this since the video is so old, lol, but I very recently started watch your channel and I have binge watched my way backwards to your Abbey Road video. I, am also am a borderline obsessive Beatles fan. My high school bestie and I were the only two weirdos completely obsessed with the “The Beatles” comeback in the mid 90’s. I’ve always joked that we we must have died as a couple of Beatles fan-girls, then reincarnated as ourselves, lol. So, I really felt how excited you were, in my chest. My friend went to Abbey Road a couple years ago, and was a mess crying in the road, lol…. That’s how hard-core we are, lol. I on the other hand have not made it there to see it yet, but one day I will! And omg, have u seen Get Back? 💗
Well, anyway, I really enjoy your videos and you have been inspiring me to cook new things, so thanks. Oh and one last thing… I have been watching cooking shows and videos for at least 33 years, and I have never once seen some who looks, thinks, and acts like I do in the kitchen. The random mishaps, dumb decisions, confusing, etc… Like two days ago my whisk popped out of my pancake batter and flung batter everywhere, including my hair and shoulder… I mean, come on, lol. Hey, I was at abbey road several times. First when it was still EMI, later, Abbey Road. I tried, begged, pleaded, feigned illness, cried, smooched, stripped (ha) to get in. I couldn’t. But my name is on the wall. I’m a Beatles historian. Wish you could have been around on feb 7, 1964, the day the world changed forever. Know every song, every story, been to every concert. Hid out at Wally heider while Paul recorded. Fab time to live. Been to all concerts, except Concert for George.. wish I’d gone....

Oh wow, that sounds absolutely amazing ! I'm a big Beatles fan, wish I got to see them when they were fab but I really appreciate that their legacy and entire collection of songs are still here, there and everywhere to discover :)

Hey Danny, I just looked up on Google maps exactly how to get there. When you select the transit directions it should direct you from where you are in the city. I definitely recommend you visiting if you're a Beatles fan!

Not the same! Penny Lane is in Liverpool. Around where Paul grew up. Liverpool is on my list of places to see too!
