I've learned a lot by watching your videos because as much as I love my new X3, I get so frustrated with all these controls! My main issue is that I'm having trouble with my phone connecting. My old phone was simple pairing it with Bluetooth but I can only pair my new phone for phone calls only. I've been able to connect with Android Auto for my music but it'll just stop working while I'm driving. Then I can't connect it again. Also, the temp will be set at 68 degrees but it's blowing out hot. The only way to get cool air is to turn on max ac. Any tips?
Hey Heather! Thanks for reaching out. Looks like you are facing some glitches here and there but should be able to fix along the way! When having issues connecting the phone I do have a video on my channel that shows some tricks on how to fix BMW issues, it might be great to check out. One of the biggest tips I mention is to hold down the volume knob for about 30-45 secs or basically until the screen goes black, the vehicle has to be running when doing this. Doing that will do a reboot in the system and that helps a lot of the connection issues. Also with the phone, make sure it's up to date with the latest software, and also with your car, I would also make sure that the car's operating system is up to date as well, a lot of times this could also be the issue since the software is not fully up to date. The 68 degrees should be blowing out cooler air, I would try making sure it's set to AUTO and also make sure the a/c light stays on the whole time as well. You never really have to turn off a/c if it's in auto, check the climate control menu to make sure this is on. Hope this helps, let me know!

Yes settings should transfer between cars that have the same idrive 7 system. The seat however may need to be re-adjusted. Yes anytime a self braking feature enables, it will apply the lights every time.
Hey W Wing, yes. There isn't an "Off" switch per say. But the way BMW makes you do this is by making the fan speed all the way down till it turns off. A cool trick with doing this is that you can HOLD the "turn down the fan button" and it'll turn off immediately.
Stress on the joints? pressure on transmission? Stress on the brakes? What are you talking about. The parking brake is always a good idea on hills and on level roads. It also uses the brakes to keep the car from rolling. Also it does not put pressure on the transmission. The locking mechanism is designed to hold the car.

Have another question for ya, so say your in the house and you start your BMW with the app but then you decide you don’t want to leave just yet. How do you shut the car off with the app?
Probably 3 ways. 1. You can use the app again the same way to turn off remote start. 2. You can use the key fob and press LOCK 3x just like how you would initiate remote start 3. If you leave it alone, it turns off all by itself after 15 min.

Not much you can do there, move to another country =)
8:23 Not sure about others, but the i4 does NOT have run flat tires and also does NOT have a spare.
Run-flats would kill you range in an EV, so the i4 is equipped with a repair kit consisting of an air pump and a bottle of witchcraft that you pump into the flat tire.
@@BogeyTheBear my guess is that EVs are also too heavy for run flats, but that's just a guess.
They def do not have runflats or a spare. I have seen some with a mobility kit, but the last one I was in did not come with one. These days roadside assistance is going to be the way to come, BMWs come with it free for the first year.
@@BeamerView I have just a mobility kit in my current car. But I've heard they destroy the Tire Pressure sensor if you use them, so I would have to be in a pretty dire situation to not just wait for road side assistance.
The BMW app will not work for 2014 or later BMW’S
That’s correct.
There are other useful ways to use dsc off 😁😁😁
DRIFTING! =)
You cannot use the start on the app to start your car none of the u.s.
For US vehicles you can for the most states. Granted it's remote start, not a full start, but if you have the remote start software included in your BMW, you can use the app to remote start it.
Just bought a 2024 BMW x3
Congrats!!

@@BeamerView thank you!
Fun Fact, if you leave Auto H on the carwash peeps roll their eyes at you and get mad, but the roller just pushes your car up then you wait for the next one.... Still not good to leave it on, oh, and I have!
Thanks for the mention!
Do you remember White Fang?
Yes, it was a book or movie that i've read about a LONGGG time ago haha.
Beamer = motorcycle
Bimmer = car
pizza = food
Slightly cleaner gas is 93 lol😂 Come on man. Octane is the combustion resistance of the gas not how clean it is.
Haha thanks for correcting me
It turns out I knew everything, but I don't use most of them, these are not secrets, and I don't care about #11 . . BMW app? You need to subscribe, it's not free after your warranty expired.
Great points!
Climate control thing was really interesting, bc i thought something was wrong lol
Hello, after I have updated myBMW app, it says warning no active subscription. Before that I could have done all the things that you have mentioned. My car is g20 2019 Europe, Bulgaria. Could you please help? thanks!
Couple things, i do know that the MY BMW App has been having plenty of issues the last couple weeks since the update.
Another thing you could check on. Log into connecteddrive.com and see if your subscriptions are still available. It could be that your subscription ran out, it's only good for 4 years since the life of the vehicle so your 2019 is close to that point.
You can renew it by paying $120 a month, at least here in the US.
@@BeamerView Thanks!
I really love your content but your tone and pronunciation are very tiring. and your enhancement in over to achieve fake enthusiasm delivers the same tiring effect.
Thanks for the feedback! Made some adjustments after the making of this video.
