Navigating disappointment is much easier to deal with when you have patience. What I do when I'm in a waiting season continue to be obedient and remember the promises of the past.

I've dealt with so much disappointment I often wonder when it will end or when will the door finally open up for me, but something within me is still telling me to keep going. So, that's what I'm going to keep doing.When you mentioned giving yourself grace, I think I really needed to hear that part .

Yup we gotta get out of our feelings. Disappointment is based on how we feel. God does not function in feelings but instead in the spirit. We are to be a people who function in the spirit and not in the flesh. Part of our transformation process. Easier said than done, but possible.

You were completely in ALL my business. Lol. God told me to move to Baltumire and this has been in the works for 3 years. He told me what apartment to apply for and I heard you will be approved and the Hitwls your living in is temporary. You will be approved. Sent the application and I was denied. I began to question Gid and became confused. He said he didn't bring me all the way here to live in a shelter or be homeless. Well money started running low and now I'm fearful; not understanding what God is doing but I need shelter because money is being depleted. Guess what, I'm in a Shelter where I never thought I'd ve in my life. I heard him say later today; I'm not a man that I should lie or a son of a man that I should Repent. This was my word.

Just got a message from my sisters ministries & my sis shared a verse ( Psalm 130:5) “ I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.” This encouraging message was to waiting on this Lord isn’t passive it’s an active trust in His promise(es) & timing . She also said we find strength & solace in His words. I’m gonna share a prayer she gave us.. “ Dear God, in times of waiting, help us to anchor our hope in Your Word. May our souls find comfort in Your promises and patience in Your timing. Remind us that every moment of waiting is an opportunity to deepen our trust in You. I was disappointed, twice last night.
Thus though, I did get humbled & simply reminded. That some people don't know how to receive priceless unconditional favors. And start to act like scavenger's.
Example ; when I wholeheartedly include you to join in to help yourself to a dish. Then five - ten minutes later and come up for thirds and only get the chicken 🍗?! Oh heck no! I did stop them in their tracks swiftly. I despise having to correct grown " supposedly" mature adults.
I've been The one too many times. I did still hold back what, I could've said. Or doing something, I would normally react to. Anyway God bless, I love 💕 you. I did pray 🙏😇 about it.
