Honda Activa 125 BS6 vs Suzuki Access vs Hero Maestro Edge 125 Review | Best 125cc Scooter is...?

The Honda Activa 125 BS6 is powered by a 124cc engine producing 8.29PS and 10.3Nm. It is more fuel efficient than its predecessor and also gets fuel injection, a silent start system and stop-start feature. Honda has also given the Activa 125 an LED headlight and DRLs, and a digi-analogue instrument cluster. The digital readout displays fuel efficiency and range. Alloy wheels and a front disc brake are available on the top-end model of the Honda, and both other scooters as well.
All 3 scooters are equipped with CBS. The Activa doesn’t get a mobile phone charging port or a boot light, which are both available on the Maestro Edge 125. The Access gets a charging port on the front apron and also has the largest underseat storage space. The Hero is the most powerful scooter here producing 9.25PS and 10.2Nm in fuel injected form. The Access is the most affordable scooter here at Rs 61,292, while the Maestro Edge is priced at Rs 63,200. (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Few days ago, I went to petrol pump to fill up with my Access. I parked in the line just behind a Ntorq, the Ntorq guy saw me, and started revving his scooter. I know Ntorq owners are very arrogant, they think they ride some Hayabusa or something cause it sounds great and stuff, I filled my tank, the guy already left.. After 2/3 minutes I saw him in front of me like 100 meters or so.. it was 3pm so roads were kinda empty.. I started being a bit pushy I got close to him started tailgating him...was annoying him 😂.. he started pulling, then we got up in a highway..it isn't a proper highway but it's 7 kilometers straight road with no locality beside the roads. Then he was in my rear view mirror.
Hope he learned his lesson. 🍻 Kampai.

Or best of luck for your new access :) you won't regret buying it. Yes it does not has the sound of an Ntorq, but overall it's a fun scooter or seat to bohot hi comfy h..

I disagree with you on sitting position and the comfort. Access is way comfortable that the other two. I have both Activa and Access, but performance and comfortable is better than Activa.
I agree that Activa is priced bit high but also keep in mind that the resale value of Activa will also be the highest amoung the three....So, its anyday wise to choose a Honda scooter over others....
Nowadays the resale value of Access is higher than Activa 😂

my mastro 2014 model completed 53436 kms 2day... with out any major issues... it's all about how you treat your vehicle...
Apart from the detailed comparison review, the the camera angles, the presentation and the music were fabulous, loved the video and i am waiting for another such detailed review video scheduled for April 2020, only after that i will decide whether to go for the activa bs6 or the access bs6

we bought Access 125 CBS (BS4 model) in December 2019 for my mother. the showroom guys claimed the average to be 55 kmpl. but when i calculated it by riding inside the city + on highways & villages - it was 60 km per litre. pretty satisfying!

Footboard- access has largest footboard among other and you can even carry gas cylinder on it.
Seat- access has largest and widest seat and even 3 people can sit on it comfortably.
Bootspace- again access has largest bootspace.
Therefore access is winner in terms of practicality.

I don't think that the design of Access 125 is a fresh one, I feel it to be a little bit older and on classic side...
only the access has the real good design...all other scooty design ar unnecessarily bulky and zig zag cut design...which make jerk

Although Activa 125 has all features , but when in comparison Access is declared as winner at last after giving detailed information about other scooter.

Ntorq is way better... And Honda with it's Activa-s are in the same league as Samsung is with their Galaxies.... Samsung still making a lot more sense though....

The problem with activa is ... it's low power it only gives 8.2 ps power .. significantly lower than other scooter in segments.

Thanks for the review. Strange point though is - almost all reviewers praise the ride quality on the Access 125 as being extremely comfortable, flattens all bumps etc etc and you on the other hand call it stiff. While we do love uTube for the content, guess nothing beats each persons own perspective on what’s best for him/her. My own experience with a ride on the Access, I found it very comfortable over all kinds of road. So, cannot agree with you on that one.

My Activa 125 BS6 gives an average of a above 58 KMPL in city traffic if driven on Eco mode even at high speeds. Access bs6 hasn't launched yet.

Maestro has best performance and handling. But the ride quality is not that great. It has pathetic build quality and it's not reliable at all. I have Maestro Edge 110 and it's engine vibration and body rattling sound is just too much. That's why until Hero isn't eliminate these problems it's not a scooter to buy. Neither 110 nor 125.
