As an educated girl myself, and perhaps a covert feminist that believes equality between men and women in the workplace and opportunities, I have come to realise this shouldn’t be the case. This lecture was good putting my thoughts of women being breadwinners and ‘successful’ with whatever that means, and working while kids could be looked after by family and she chases after her dreams. The reality is that there are very big differences between men and women that will never be resolved because of our very nature. It is scary to think that society would otherwise look after my children if I didn’t. That the likes of lgbtq or lack of Islamic values or brainwashing on various matters could get hold of my children would mean I’d failed miserably as a mum, the most important job a woman will ever have is she chooses to become one. I’m single and don’t have children, but slowly my mindset is shifting in this sense from someone is a careerist to now realising the realities of life. You know many male consultant doctors would tell me to stick to a 9-5 job because that’s what their wives did, and while I don’t want old men to decide my future and limit my capabilities, I understand there will come a time and place where that may be the only option or in fact none at all in order to put 100% time and effort into them. I was expecting less from this lecture but honestly I really liked his view points and certainly want to hear more.
Actually having children most definitely means that women have to make sacrifices. If you are still chasing your dreams it often comes at a cost with the children.
@Richard Wagner , the feminist movement was women fighting to exercise the RIGHTS that were given to them by Allah, SWT. Think about it. What were they fighting for? The RIGHT to education, the right to vote, the right to own property, the right to have their own money, the right to choose whom they marry, the right to have rape and domestic violence to be taken seriously. Allah, gave women these rights. You do, realize, don't you, that in Islam, women keep their last names when they marry, right? This is nothing new. You DO realize, that Khadijah (RA) was a business woman running her own businesses and making her own money, right? If you bother to read Surah Al Anisa, In shaa Allah, you will see that Allah, Subhana wa T'ala GAVE women rights that men refused to let them practice. Men were the oppressors, going against what Allah had given. Allah does NOT like oppression nor the people who oppress. There would have been no need for a feminist movement if there were no CHAUVENISM. FEAR ALLAH!

We need more knowledge on feminism as our young sisters do not know anything about their rights in Islam and so are brainwashed into believing that only the west and a western lifestyle can give them their rights. Also, brothers would benefit greatly in knowing the rights of women as in today's age, the Muslim man very commonly treats the women in his house more like slaves! AssalamuAlaikum wa Rahmatullahi wabarakatu, Ustadh I kindly request you address the video made by brother NasirAlHanbali about you. I'm writing this comment with great concern. JazakAllahu Khairan. I really love to listen to you and do not want you support those who are deviants. BarakAllahu Feek.
Mashala the Shaykh has given his reasons and he is humble. If you like refer to yourself as Shaykh. However, I can no longer automatically without knowing rhe qualifications of an Arab especially from the GCC or Yemen and call him a Shaykh when I know the qualifications of an African, a Pakistani, A Canadian, a Caucasian or an American but not call him a Shaykh. I will grant him thta respect. In our lands based upon our levle of knowledge you are certainly a scholar. So, since Alim mya seem to high for the hearts I'll settle on calling you a Shaykh. This has nothing to do with race but respect. Ilm is Ilm and if the knowledge and the known behavior and morals of the person are correct we respect and honor him with his title.
Assalamu Alaykum Sheikh, please do a lecture on the proper age of marriage in Islam. There was a law passed here in the Philippines RA 11596 An Act Prohibiting Child Marriage in which they defined that anyone who is 18 below is considered a child but we know thay in Islam a woman or man can get marriage of they reach the age of puberty.. Kindly explain coz it is really contradicting here. In shaa Allah you can have time to do a lecture about this topic. Jazakhallahu khair shiekh.
the Philippines and Islam have no connection. you are correct, once a child reaches the age of puberty and becomes an adult they are then able to get married
Somehow I am surprised that you brought up the quote from Rockefeller, as I read this "quote" before and it really seemed to be unauthentic and I could not find that he had really said it. Of course the message is still relevant but as a student of knowledge and in general as Muslims we should have a advanced sense of quotes being authentic or not
Asalamualekum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu, im just a 12 year old girl but i want to become successful because if i go to school whats the point of not using that knowledge to use and getting a job but if i become a housewife which i also want to im scared that nobody would want to because they will have to have a job to support himself and i and maybe kids which i dont think is financially possible in this society from what i know of? so is me going out and getting a job good or bad?
Wa Alaykum Al Salam Wa Rahmutallhi wa barkatu, this is why women shouldn't go to school, men are supposed to work, protect etc. while women do the house chores and take care of the kids.
Waleykum salaam dear. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with getting a job. It’s actually important because financial security is important. You’re very young, though. So don’t worry about it so much right now and keep your mind open, please keep studying, keep your career goals, and of course keep praying that Allah guides you throughout. If you eventually want to be a housewife, that’s fine. But have a back up and I’d advise to have some money saved up. Again, you’re so young, so try not to stress about it so much. Just keep studying both the deen and an education that could get you a halal income.
As salam o alaykum wrwbt & JAZAKALLAH Kheyr, only ALLAH swt knows best but the Ummah has confused ISLAMIC EDUCATION for women (which ALLAH swt ordained) with Secular Education, the parents are sending daughters in FREE MIX education, where they Hygienically clean them from any Islam/Deen & this is why/how our Muslim women are becoming feminist as well as they do NOT want to get married and even a marriage takes place, they are NOT lasting, divorces are very common now a days because what they learn from Schools/Collage & Uni is ME, MY SELF AND I. May ALLAH swt give us the ability to hold on to his rope, learn & practice this beautiful DEEN, Ameen ya RUB
Salam Shiekh great speech as always mashallah. Also great lecture amazing points just a kind word of advice it's stuffed up saying what is wrong with being a breeding machine. Sorry sheikh but no. I understand you are saying equity over equality which I agree with and all your points were valid. However a breeding machine is again saying women are only their organs. You could have worded it better in my opinion as motherhood and nations. Especially as not all women can give birth or wish to which although i disagree with i can still respect. I understand you did not mean it like that and I understand you were coming more from a "there is nothing wrong with being a woman who gives birth" but with the machine part it comes off as so wronf. Just don't want your words being taken for a run by some dodgy media outlet.
Yeah, I think he just said that because he wanted to quickly end the lecture. I think he pretty much meant is what's wrong with giving birth to children? Lol. Majority of mothers will tell you that their kids is the best thing that has happened to them. I personally always appreciate hearing my mother tell me that at least. It puts a smile on my face and encourage me to work harder to make her proud.
Salam! What they said was "the woman was BURNED after her husband's death". I hinduism, if a man dies, they used to burn the man's wife in a fire so she can go with him, as she has nothing left for her in this life. Basically saying that "a woman was nothing without her husband". Salam!
So how did hatija r.a. then inherit her wealth before Islam? Women were opressed but not even to a similar extent to which you claim .. in that sense all were opressed
NO NEED FOR FEMINISM IF THERE WERE NO CHAUVENISM!!! How about addressing THIS! Brothers all know polygamy is allowed but not all know how Muhammad (SAW) TREATED his wives. Khadijah (RA) was a business woman. He also assisted with household duties. He did not beat or mistreat woman.
Yes, feminism is probably more compatible with Hinduism, which is why India has the highest cuckoldry rate in the world and the men tend to be quite feminine and dossile. Add to that, Hindus worship women whereas Islam in inherently patriarchal and this is why the men in Islamic cultures tend to be quite masculine
Title Muslim brings us up to a station that the most loving Fearful of Men and teachers to Men and women Prophets pbuthem all bowing excepting the Creator of all Creation allow us women to give birth a job none except a women can undertake
As an educated girl myself, and perhaps a covert feminist that believes equality between men and women in the workplace and opportunities, I have come to realise this shouldn’t be the case. if the wealth is not separated according to the rulings of Islam then it falls under denying inheritance. try get this sorted. take your correct share
Is not about what islam says it’s about how men act in real life. This pushes women to feminism
BarakAllahu Feek.
does anyone know the book ustadh was using ?

What’s the book called that u read from 9:58
The illustrious woman of Islam

And the men the same he also have to follow the Quran and sunnah and not his desire.
Shaykh. I've never seen you smile. Smile please
You know the say if we don't use our muscles by smiling it becomes weak. That's why dimples are deformity because of weak muscles

Somehow I am surprised that you brought up the quote from Rockefeller, as I read this "quote" before and it really seemed to be unauthentic and I could not find that he had really said it. Of course the message is still relevant but as a student of knowledge and in general as Muslims we should have a advanced sense of quotes being authentic or not
We have a video of even Nicholas Rockefeller saying it, I would have posted it but it has music.
Ok then I am sorry akhi kareem, I wanted to add that maybe I'm wrong but I forgot and obviously I was wrong

@@XMVDARK I'm from a developed country alhamdullilah and so it's compulsory for me to go to school. Not going would put my parents in trouble.
@@hp_mo6353 Yes it does, thanks! My job choices have become limited due to me being female but I understand wherre you're coming from.. Jazakallah.
@@SalmaPaz Thank you, you're so kind 😊😊
Part 2 soon InshAllah
Walaikum mussalam
Allah bless you
Is it wrong to study and get certificate and be skilled in a field or just study Hadith and stuff all day in a damp madrasa somewhere
Unfortunately not all Muslim men follow this even if he has the financial means.
I am not a native English speaker so can someone explain what does is mean when he said ( the women was bent after her husband death ) ? (Min 13.06)
Salam! What they said was "the woman was BURNED after her husband's death". I hinduism, if a man dies, they used to burn the man's wife in a fire so she can go with him, as she has nothing left for her in this life.
Basically saying that "a woman was nothing without her husband".
Salam!
The ritual is Called sati
So how did hatija r.a. then inherit her wealth before Islam? Women were opressed but not even to a similar extent to which you claim .. in that sense all were opressed
Alhamdulilah for islam
Who is the speaker?

EH we have too many young dudes acting like they have this huge amount of wisdom in their life and theyre like 30/years old lol
Its because they do. Studying books of scholars makes you wise
He did not beat or mistreat woman.
i dont think any of those feminists watch this.
Islam and feminism are two opposite things..women's condition in Islam ☪️ very narrowed.
Bro didn't even watch the video
