@@alexkidwell9307 you are so out of touch with reality! The guy didn't care about anything but money, play knocking for them violating antitrust laws which is why the doj came knocking in the first place him in a bunch of the other top executives dumped 150 million dollars worth of stock behind the backs of most of the investors only the top investors got a chance to dump their stock. I'm done a ton of investors lost money because they weren't privy to the insider trading knowledge that he had. He enacted and spearheaded an algorithm with a 90% error rate that had a feature that was built in so employees could not override the algorithms decision. New of the error rate he knew that it was unjustly denying people life-saving health coverage. Just like this guy said that girl died a few days before Christmas because they delayed her coverage. CEO knew that there was no way to override the system and he would not change it thus killing sentencing many people to play most certain painful prolonged death because he refused to change the algorithm and the procedure n niles. Denial rate went from 13% to 23% since he took over more than double the national average. How about money to this guy he didn't care about people and he's exactly where he belongs now with the people that he murdered by not allowing overrides of the algorithm. Luigi is a hero!

But what you say is so important. The reaction was immediate and against the insurance company rather than the young man. Understanding that shift might be key to understanding how people feel about big corporations. This might be a turning point. I’m not co doing the murder but it has the benefit of telling these corporations folk notice what they are doing. The way healthcare is handled by the insurance companies is a form of corporate murder. Many are furious with you. Thank you for your wisdom in this horrid world.

So they think medical BILLS are an issue but don't care or realize how many peoples lives get ruined financially and then their health is ruined after that. Its all because hospital systems that are for profit are charging more than the Healthcare really costs for profit purely. Then on TOP of that they have a profit margin to reach for insurance companies too. THEN the pharmaceutical companies get their piece of the price gouging and raise prices beyond what any other nations pays because they have single payer systems SET PRICES ON LIFE SAVING MEDICINE. However, Cigna denied the MRI request not once, but three times.I became exhausted from the back-and-forth with both Cigna and my doctor, and the constant pain took a toll on my mental health. Eventually, I gave up on pursuing the claims with Cigna. As a result, my shoulder muscles and arm atrophied, and I was unable to even carry grocery bags for a year. If the Government were to pay 100% (e.g. "Medicare for all") healthcare providers would have the green light to increase prices bc customers would be getting it for free (no price pressure from the consumer). If the Government decided to "control" prices (so as not to go even more bankrupt than it already is) then we would all suffer the consequences: poor service, long waits.

So they think medical BILLS are an issue but don't care or realize how many peoples lives get ruined financially and then their health is ruined after that. Its all because hospital systems that are for profit are charging more than the Healthcare really costs for profit purely. Then, on TOP of that, they have a profit margin to reach for insurance companies, too. THEN the pharmaceutical companies get their piece of the price gouging and raise prices beyond what any other nations pay because they have single payer systems SET PRICES ON LIFE SAVING MEDICINE. Its not hard to understand unless you literally have brain damage or are a lying rich scumbag on tv, apparently.

U.S. health insurers were first allowed to make a profit in 1973 with the passage of the Health Maintenance Organization Act (HMO Act) signed by President Nixon. Prior to this, for-profit health insurance companies were not allowed to operate in the United States. There is another way.

    • @andiamador7156
      @andiamador7156 Час назад

Yes. Exactly right. Nixon was a crook with crooked and evil ways of thinking. He even recorded himself talking to someone about how great it was that claims would be denied in order for the insurance companies to profiteer off of the sick and injured, once he understood in that conversation that was the plan --- profiteering off of the sufferings and deaths of Americans who would pay out a lot up front for 'healthcare' 'assurances' and wind up doing without.
Before the extreme crookedness of some politicians and others who profiteer off of insurance company profits, a man could make around minimum wage and afford a wife and kids, a home for them to live in, an automobile, and to take himself or a family member to a regular doctor for routine illnesses or an ER in an emergency an receive treatment.
They weren't able to live real high on the hog, but they were able to live. Nixon was big on beginning the downfall and stripping a life away from the average American citizen and worker --- taking us backward in that respect.
They all want to make American 'great again' by continuing in that vein of making it so great again for the small handful of profiteers, crooked users of average American citizens. Use up the essential expendable workers and throw them away, just like they were able to do before the FDR and LBJ era.
Make people believe that the greed of those above you is what will save you. Make people believe that others who don't have it as good as you do are the ones who took everything from you --- even though they aren't the ones with the evidence of having taken it, and those rich and righteous 'saviors' are enjoying all that evidence.
Proverbs 22: 16 One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth, and one who gives gifts to the rich-both come to poverty.

Seriously? He certainly does not deserve to be dead, but I am positive he has been responsible for the deaths of so many people. And the suffering, which might even be worse. And do you think that he cared for even one second of his life? Do you think that when they sat around a big desk, deciding what to do at his healthcare company that they considered the patients who didn’t have a lot of money for even one second? I don’t think so. They are despicable in the way they deal with American citizens. Absolutely indisputable. They are disgusting. Everybody has a horrific story about an insurance company. I think this kind of situation was inevitable. All of it. The event, and the tragic response. And I have no idea how it can get better at this point. Capitalism.

Because they legally have a requirement to try and make money for their stockholders, which is in direct opposition to helping patients at a reduced cost. See the fallacy of "for-profit- healthcare?" They are deluded morons acting like it's impossible and doctors would suddenly become poor and homeless lol cnn is a disgrace to all media, let alone the "News"

Start paying taxes and provide free healthcare for everyone. These companies would disappear. Canadians understand this.

I just googled Nataline Sarkisyan. This is a tragic and sad story. How can a medical director sitting in an office somewhere has all the power to decide life or death for a patient.

I need a knee replacement but I’m too young to have a knee replacement. So my doctor recommended a protein for my knee. My insurance denied it. I’ve done physical therapy and I’m in pain daily and can barely walk. Ive had a couple of bad falls because my knee gives out. I pay around $1500 a month for insurance that won’t even approve a shot that I clearly need.

Look around for a serious and well rated stem cell specialist. Normally an ortho specialist or rheumatologist. That really might change your entire life. I currently do Internal Medicine at a practice in Missouri and have had several patients now finding docs able to do stem cell injections and it works wonders in shoulder joints and elbows from my anecdotal experience. Worth a shot especially at a young age you should avoid surgery at all costs until it's unbearable pain tbh. Just my 2 cents

Oh or a steroid injection called triamcinolone/lidocaine. A bursa joint inj can basically lube inside the knee joint and takes 2 mins with less long lasting effects than surgery or stem cells.

I lost my job a month ago and need medication & Cobra UH wanted $500+ per month to continue coverage for one person and I said NO I will try to get a job quick enough to get coverage soon I can not even imagine what a family with kids would do in my situation. So understand our frustration with insurance companies. Don’t expect us to feel bad or condemn what this guy did when insurance CEOs do just that to average Americans every single day from their office denying coverage that can save lives. So who has more blood in their hands ?

They want 1800 a month for m29 f25 m2 and f3. No issues or health problems lmfao. No medications actively being taken or surgeries or pre-existing conditions besides familial hx of breast cancer. They want nearly 2x my mortgage for a catastrophic plan
