Recuerdo muy bien el día que escribí “A ti Señor gracias;” eran los primeros días de 1983 y me encontraba reflexionando sobre las bendiciones de Dios. Me senté en la sala, tomé la guitarra y por la gracia de Dios comenzó a brotar ésta alabanza, fue una de esas ocasiones especiales en que la letra y la música se van entrelazando simultáneamente, de una forma natural y sin esfuerzo. Es imposible enumerar todas las razones por las que estoy agradecido con mi Padre Celestial. Ofrezco esta alabanza como un himno de gratitud a nuestro amante Dios quien siempre es tan bueno, generoso, lleno de gracia y misericordia.
Hace muchos años Dios nos permitió a mis hermanos, a mi amigo Sergio Corona y a un servidor formar el cuarteto “Logos.” Antes de ser “Logos” y antes de ser creyentes en Jesucristo nos hacíamos llamar “Las Panteras Negras.” Cuando conocimos de Cristo y liderados por mi hermano Raúl decidimos usar cualquier talento que Dios nos hubiera dado para la honra de su Santo Nombre, y así nos propusimos a hacerlo (Colosenses 3:23). Con el tiempo nuestro Señor Jesucristo en su infinita gracia y misericordia nos fue llamando a cada uno de los integrantes de “Logos” a ser misioneros y pastores, por ese motivo principalmente, solo pudimos grabar dos discos. Recuerdo que por un tiempo los cuatro estuvimos pastoreando diferentes iglesias y solo nos juntábamos para ensayar para las presentaciones que teníamos. Siempre al escribir alabanzas pedimos a nuestro Señor Jesucristo que nos ayudara para que las letras fueran bíblicas, doctrinales y para alabanza de su gloria (Efesios 1:12). Con mucho gozo hoy comparto con ustedes esta alabanza que espero que sea de bendición a sus vidas.
Mi propósito es compartir en este canal mis cantos, predicaciones, enseñanzas, etc. Espero que sean de edificación, gozo y bendición para sus vidas.
I remember very well the day I wrote "Thank you Lord." It was the early days of 1983 and I found myself reflecting on the blessings that God had given me. I sat in the living room, took the guitar and by the grace of God this praise began to flow, it was one of those special occasions in which the lyrics and the music intertwine simultaneously, in a natural and effortless way. It is impossible to list all the reasons why I am grateful to my Heavenly Father.
I offer this praise as a hymn of gratitude to our loving God who is always so good, generous, gracious and merciful.

I thank you my God for all the tests. I thank you my God out of joy and sadness. Because I know that everything comes from you, as well I know that it is for the best, without what you give me I could never grow up.
Because you want to guide me firm and decisively, and you give me safety, future and protection. For those things so big that I don’t understand. For my doubts and concerns that you know how to understand.
For the pleasant moments that I will never forget, and the beautiful brethren that you have made me know. Because you have found me, You have made me so happy, for having brought me to this earth to live.
I thank you Holy God for all the charm, that you bring to my life, in these my days. Because you give the cold and the heat, you give the light, the wind in its force, the flowers, the waves of the sea.
