It's actually really easy to make you don't need to be Einstein! You don't need expensive papers I'm using school lined paper The first time I made some they were wonky 😅 it just takes time! Once you get on your fifth star you'll be quite good!! I promise

For people who dont know how to cut the paper. If you dont know how to cut the paper in the video you can just use notebook lined paper cause its easier to see where to cut you just need to follow the linesand cut them you can just start with normal white paper if you want.
Then you did something wrong, because it should always work... Maybe check how thick your paper is. It may be too thick, if it is: I would prefer paper that's 80 grams thick.
You loop it like she did, then pull the tiny strand over the longer one and into the loop. If that doesn’t work just take the longer strand and put it through the loop.
I'm not hating on any of the tutorials on how to make lucky stars but I wish there was 1 where the person's hands were out of the way so you could actually see what's happening.
tbh the tutorial kindof sucks because of the amount of cuts in editing, the distance away from the camera, and the fingers being in the way, “keep wrapping the pentagon” doesnt help. its also fast paced so i cant keep up and yes i can turn the playback speed down but then it gets complicated, and having to pause means taking my fingers off my origami. i love the voice over and the intent and the style of editing overall but it really couldve just been.. clearer. [pls dont start raging, what do u think the comments are for?? ur _gonna_ see mixed opinions.]

2. Keep it loose(ish) and don't crese the edge because then it won't fold good

Good job! A tip for the ribbon is to make the smaller loose end fit on both sides, and make it pretty tight.

Fold the paper into the strip then cut along the fold it should be straight

I tried about 10 to 20 times and it hasn’t turned out like the story yet while when I made a paper dragon, it only took one try to make. make it easy
