pulpbits Apple are smart. I think they knew the rear camera would fail (as mine and many have), so they purposely made it the second easiest thing to remove after the screen.
Wanted to just see the internals of the iPhone 6... incredible technologies, I wonder how its manufactured, all the tiny little plugs/ribbon cables. Such precision. Incredible how technology has advanced.
Broke my Touch ID, but the phone is in a new custom housing and I’m happy, wonderful guide! I was happy you said something about that super tiny piece on the right side of the rear facing camera, I couldn’t figure out how it went on
As a recommendation for ***** for those who will use this video as a tutorial, not just to check how it looks (like me) You should put each disassebly in the description, e.g Screen disassemble, etc
Thanks for this video... Its so detailed. I was watching this while taking the motherboard out of my BF's broken Iphone 6. I am just wondering if there is any company you know of that retrieves any data on the motherboard for a Iphone 6?
+Jamal Hill Ensure your flex cable connections are properly seated. You can also perform a hard reset by holding the power button and home button for 10 seconds. If the issues continue, it's possible you have a bad digitizer on your new screen assembly.
hi there please help! i try to change my iphone 6 back housing, after done switch it. Plugging to charge 15 minutes later my phone getting extremely hot. and came to this state " phone will die out when go to sleep the only way to power it back up i have to reconnect the battery connector from a mother board. Or manually turn off when not in use, then i can turn back on by a power button".
dude thanks! just to ask if you know. My phone seems have flicker on top. I plan to complete assemble and dissable. The wierd things is when i put the phone to aircond air, the flickering slowly dissapear. i strongly think it is due to bad thermal paste on the chips. do you have any idea how to remove the heatsink on the chips? if any? Thanks!
+A Farhan This sounds like an issue on your LCD. Double check that your flex cables are seated properly. Possible that there is a faulty connection and not to sure if this would be related to the thermal paste. This problem sounds more consistent with an LCD related issue.
+Fixez.com Hi dude, thanks! i did try with new lcd assembly (complete), and the screen still flickers. my guess is either connector on the logic board, or something related to heat, since flexing the phone or cooled down the phone make the flicker disappears. well u got some parts too. do you ship to worldwide?

You're very wrong always unclip the battery first when working on a mobile Either it's on or off And removing from a clip with a metallic object (tweezers) while the battery is connected is dangerous alot of things can be burned this way

do you have any video about a broken screen of a UMI ROME X?
Unfortunately, not at this time. We will provide this request to our team. Stay tuned to our channel for any updates.
Great video, Screen replacement shown to be super simple.. but God forbid you switch the entire housing. Ruined my OEM battery.. :(

I always wonder how powerful smart phones could be if they had a battery that could last a week of full usage that was the size of a small sd card
They have taken off the ribbon cable for the touch id
Great video, thanks

Either it's on or off

Can I have the extra screen please
the phone is made of metal, why don't you just heat the bottom under where the battery is? the battery does not enjoy being heated!
The battery gets hot on usage anyway
its lithium based, all phone's have lithium based batteries, its a chemical reaction, there will be heat.
and that doesn't help removing the battery...
The most times while removing the battery there will be an replacemend
urm... you sure? I've removed batteries from 5c's and 4-4s's and was able to reuse it? what do you do to yours...
ez fix
