I love Ellerbe. He says this a bigger fight than Undisputed with a straight face lol.. I like Gervonta and think he has the skills but they are pushing the star power over competitive achievements. Floyd went after champions and belts in his prime and that's what put him up with the greats. Belts do matter. It's just like trophies or superbowl rings. Star power is good for money and packing arenas true but it's not going to put you up there with the greats who wanted to prove they were the best by pursuing the best. I believe Gervonta could be one of the best if not the best. I'm a Gervonta fan, but Ikeeping it 💯 as an old school fan I recognize Dev as the champ for having the undisputed title. This is boxing not Hollywood. And yes Dev is a bigger fight.

He speaks the opposit of what he did and if Gervona follows what Floyd says then he will never be the champ Floyd was. It's true boxing is a business. You can pursue being the best of the best or you can pursue the money. If you do pursue the money side of it then you can be that star but not that champ because they don't give you belts for the money you make and you won't be remembered as the champ that dethroned champs like Flyd or Ali. And Gervonta has the skills to be that champion.
