I'm about to turn 29 and turned 25 right around when the pandemic started and went through some massive trauma including losing a parent, I feel like my brain only caught up and developed in 2023 at 28 years old. Ended a long term relationship, moved back home from another country I've been living in since I was 22 and started therapy. It's like my adult life is just starting and there's a whole new chapter unfolding.

Amazing to have a solo episode to start the New Year in style so thanks, Grace. Brilliant to have a catch up and speak about the latest popular culture stories. and topic such as dating and single life as I am on the metaphorical train to a relationship with you! Its exciting, daunting and nerve racking! Also, I like a night out with the girls at a restraunt any day of the week, it is sensational to have a partner they have to be right. Friendship loyalty is a special thing to have and like you mentioned something not to be taken for granted. Love and support always! 💜💜

I’m 26 and I definitely have no time for people pleasing anymore. I stand up for myself a lot more and people around me don’t like it but I don’t care. Also I had my nips pierced years ago and I loved them but they hurt so much when they got caught on things and they never fully heal. Ended up taking them out after about a year and a bit of having them done and I don’t regret letting them heal up at all. Kinda loving the solo chat episode. 🖤🖤

As a Dr, it’s roughly 26/27 for women with frontal lobe. Also consumption of alcohol higher than the average rate (roughly two and a half standard drinks a week) can reduce the efficacy. Also trauma, life experiences etc can speed that up. Women mature faster than men studies have shown 25 year old women are far more attracted to 35-40 year old men. Anyway, living alone is good. Protect your peace. Get a good dog and you’re sorted. The hard part is living with a spouse 😂.

Grace, I’m 26, moved into my own house on my own at 23. HATED living alone at first but honestly I love it now!! I actually could not imagine living with anyone, I have a boyfriend now but I don’t want him to move in anytime soon cause I just love having my own space 😂 you’ll get there it just takes a while to adjust! Pets definitley help too! And it’s not exactly 25 that your frontal lobe is supposed to develop, it’s just roughly around that age but I definitely noticed a shift around 24/25 looking back. I don’t think I was aware of it at the time though. Me now is completely different to me at 21-23, far more sure of myself, SO much better at regulating my emotions and keeping a level head. Also therapy helps! x

Not 25 but a psychology student who has studied developmental psychology, so your frontal lobe is responsible for decision making and impulses hence why most bad impulsive and reckless decisions in your life happen when you’re younger bc your brain just doesn’t know it should not act like that. It finishes developing around the age of 25 allowing for you to make more rational decisions with clarity and foresight.

She's almost a year and a half and her dad (my fiance) passed away when she was 10 months old.. No one ever prepares you for this! BAM here's a child. BAM now youre a solo parent. BAM you now live on your own, with a baby, 200 miles away from your family.. Here, have a good life and try not to kill yourself OR the child ✌🏽 🥴😂
