I used this as a reply to one of the comments here, might as well: this is something that will be very hard to digest for viewers/fans of the show, like majority, they have tons of question marks from where the votes came from. we can be EXTREMELY honest since it has come to this. let's face it: 1- txt fans(moa), 2- bandwagons trying to oppose the hate, 3- hiyyihlights. guess what, the lowest number of voters out of those three? easily hiyyihlights. also explains why she had low ranks from earlier episodes. now the moa & bandwagons kicked in as the show progressed, trying to prove their point as the strong voting team, and that a young girl should not be hated for trying to pursue her dream. were they wrong for voting/rooting for bahiyyih? err, not entirely. people who wanted a very strong/balanced lineup will have endless discussions as to why she's not supposed to be there. Now i have friends who are txt fans, they wanted to see what kai's sister has to offer. some of them really watched the show from start to finish, and started rooting for the other trainees, and after the final lineup, of course they're happy for bahiyyih, but felt bad knowing the other deserving trainees. now some txt fans didn't watch or didn't finish watching the show, they still voted for hiyyih from start to finish just to help her. okay, maybe her fans will say "but hiyyih is nice, she has a nice personality, we liked her because of that, she's really talented & stable.." alright, where were those during the show? what scene? what episode? or maybe you saw those somewhere else, care to send the link? because we can't justify your support. some might say "can't you guys be supportive and wait for her to improve? she'll show great improvement soon..", but there were trainees who were ready to debut, matter of fact almost all of the finalists are ready to debut anytime. this could've been easier if she was on par with maybe just one of the 8 other members? but I don't think so. I actually watched the show because of yujin and i'm a cheshire, she's my bias-wrecker in CLC, and while watching the first released videos, i was curious who huening bahiyyih was and why her video was getting lotta views. I even thought she was pretty, and her introduction was kinda cute & funny. after their demo stage, man was I disappointed. I know some will throw the Sohye & Hyewon card to justify including her in the final lineup, no you can't. Those two had a storyline which was highlighted throughout the series, and that's how they received love from the public. imagine what her overall rank would be if she wasn't related to kai? will she reach the finale too? Who's to blame for this? The voting system. 1pick really messed up and its too hard for people rooting for many trainees. Mnet had to change it since C&J group dominated every elimination. IF: they kept the k/c/j 3:3:3 ratio, would've been awesome, but backlash from koreans saying "oh this is kpop, of course koreans should dominate", or all votes will be counted equal and no 50% korean-weighing, but they'll throw the kpop is korean line again.. am i disappointed with the lineup? yes. will i stan? still yes, because i'm already attached to the girls, even the eliminated ones. i guess to turn this around hiyyih needs to show improvement and prove us wrong in a short amount of time, but im afraid time is too short coz i think they're debuting by year-end? i might be wrong just an assumption since MAMA is back and mnet aims to debut them there?..
very well said... we are not hating on Bahiyyih, but if you are her fan, you can't be surprised that we are upset, when even as her fans say... she got no screen time.... why should I be excited for her being in the group, when I literally don't even know her? There will be variety show for the group in November and I hope we get to know her better.

Hyewon card literally can be used, why? Hyewon was the least talented member in iz*one, I'm speaking from a wizone perspective because I stan izone too. A lot perceived her as the talent hole in the group, and she was voted in for her visuals. So, I can say the same thing about hyewon. She was already popular throughout the show, although she made a breakthrough during boombayah, but if you really want to talk about talents, tons were better than her. Chowon, gaeun at the start deserved that ranking much more than her. Now notice how people are doing the same thing to hiyyih? But honestly speaking, hiyyih is really better than hyewon. Literally. And now, why is it acceptable that hyewon debuts whereas hiyyih can't get acceptance from most of the people?

And the lineup wasn't perfect and ideal at first, the group was thought to be flops cause the public think they were all visuals and no talent, in fact 2 members were rigged in. But through effort and time, iz*one managed to recapture general public's attention after the scandal broke out. So i believe kep1er would do the same, even if the haters outnumber fans for now..

hiyyih's fandom is huge and they were smart about their voting. it's easy for a fandom to blame others when in reality they just got comfortable and lacked follow through.

Ok, as a MOA I will clear things up. I think I can say the majority of Bahiyyih's fans checked her out because she is Kai's sister. No one is denying that she got attention and initial hype because of that. But having attention and keeping it up for more than two months are two different things. The only reason why people spent so much time voting for her and even spending money on Klaps is because they actually like HER. I wouldn't have sit through this horrible show, filled with trainees I didn't like, voting every single day and going through heartattacks at every single elimination JUST because she is Kai's sister. Like, I love you TXT, but that's not worthy XD I did all of this because I like Bahiyyih. I liked her since her first introduction video where her personality is so bright and funny. She received nothing from Mnet. No hype, no attention, no screentime. They pretended she didn't exist because they didn't want her in the lineup. Watch the final episode and tell me how many times you see Bahiyyih compared to any other girl. Exactly, they hoped if people didn't see her, they wouldn't live vote for her. Bahiyyih's situation is similar to Hanbin's in I-land. Hanbin got so much hype because he would have been the first vietnamese idol in K-pop. He got ZERO screentime but people supported him and voted for him and little by little we could see his skills. The attention came for his nationality, his continuous success in votes arrived for his skills and kind personality even with no screentime. He was only eliminated by producers.

I recognize that if she wasn't Kai's sister she wouldn't be here, BUT the majority of Bahiyyih's fans (myself included) just says that the reason she kept her initial popularity is because people liked HER. And this is a fact, no one i going to vote for 2 months for someone they don't like just because she is someone's sister. Many checked her out because of Kai, the ones who stayed did it because they liked Bahiyyih. Had she tried to do literally anything like getting a killing part, then Mnet would have evil edited the hell out of her and that's not even a question. But because she never really made mistakes or got involved in drama, the only thing Mnet could do was to ignore her and they did it until the very end. They even tried to influence the live voting by not showing her at ALL while praising Xiaoting to no end. I know technically it's not a correct thing to do, but people are calling out ONLY Bahiyyih's fans and that's not fair. Every single fandom was encouraging people to make more accounts, so why is Bahiyyih' the only fandom getting dragged for this? Personally I made only two accounts: one for me and one for my friend who couldn't download the app on her phone but wanted to vote for Bahiyyih. I don't care what others do, but we need to call everyone out, not just Bahiyyih's fandom as I have seen so many people do. Mnet is shit, I don't think anyone can deny that. Giving 50% power to Korean votes was WRONG and I will always say that, but even with that, Bahiyyih would have debuted (she would have been first) and Yurina would still be out. The way they distributed screentime was also messed up, no one is denying that. But after that, it is still a popularity contest, Yaning and Ruiqi should have debuted (they were in the Top9 of overall votes), and it's strange still seeing people (not you in particular, I'm talking in general, even just this comment section) that are so surprised the popular trainees win over the more talented ones. It has always been like this and with a voting system it's the result you will have. There is no point in complaining about the talented trainees left out. The only thing about THIS lineup that is messed up is the fact that by overall votes Ruiqi and Yaning should have been inside (and I'm sad too, Yaning was one of my picks, just not my first pick). This is something that can be up to discussion. But that amazing trainees like Bora or Shana didn't make it it's not Mnet's fault: they are just not as popular as others. In the end I didn't really like the entire concept of the show, how people got obsessed with having a perfect diversity ratio and how Mnet handled foreign trainees. Had all the trainees being given fair chances and no favoritism/evil editing, then then the need for a "good ratio" becomes pointless. If these girls are truly equal (as they are of course), then they should compete against each other and may the most popular win. Forcing people to vote based on nationality is not something that I enjoyed because imo it's like saying "C and J trainees can only make it if we force people to vote for them or have a locked ratio in the final lineup". So the show was FILLED with problematic stuff and I get people's frustration, but out of all this stuff, Bahiyyih debuting is the less problematic thing. She wasn't favored by Mnet, she didn't do anything questionable (as much as I like Ruiqi and Yaning they did problematic stuff outside the competition and that's not part of evil editing), she won fairly in any way you want to look at the votes. She is there because she is popular and that's the goal of the show, or shoulf be the goal. But I understand that people are not happy about her because they don't know her at all and because their picks were eliminated. These feelings, as long as it's not hate, are justified. What I can't understand is Bahiyyih ending up in arguments about C and J trainees' treatment and the ratio: she has nothing to do with that. Also some fans just are always shocked after a survival show and forget that it's about popularity and not talent. These fans are annoying because they KNOW what they are getting into (a popularity contest) and still complain because the most popular are not always the most talented. Actually Bahiyyih proves that even with 0 screentime you can still debut if the show isn't rigged and you are super popular. That's the same thing Hanbin in I-land was going to prove, but sadly got eliminated by producers before he could do it.

I wish people stop hating on bahiyyih there's nothing to gain from "not liking the final line up" It's already done, there's no need to be angry/stressed over something that already happened, Bahiyyih has a loyal fan base, and her personality and vibe will make the group good also, she's talented, and I loved when her group had "ice cream" performance she was amazing there all the participants in that group did such a good job, ofc some of my favs like for example Kim Bora didn't make it, ofc I'm sad/disappointed but I wanted everyone who's in the group to be in the final line up :)) I personally love this line up overall, and I can't wait until they release songs/mvs!💕💕💕
Same here,although the group isn't perfect and what i wanted I'm quite happy with it.We did lose some great talents such as:Su RuiQi,Yurina,Bora,Fu Yaning and so on but with the final lineup overall i think it's quite all rounded, definitely going to be good at dance but overall we have great vocalists,great rappers and superb dancers.
bahiyyih was 2nd because her fanbase has been strong 1 pick from the start.. and she never got into top 9 because her fans had to vote for other trainees, but with 1 pick voting she was bound to go up as her fans had no obligation to vote anyone. if you see her total vote counts in final, its the same amount she has been getting from the beginning while everyone's dropped..

*To answer you why hiyyih has a whole planet of loyal stans* : (a very long essay) Her sister, Lea is a former kpop idol. Now that she's a normal person being, she's very active in social media. In the past, hiyyih can be easily seen in her vlogs, tiktoks and ig live. And from that on, she garnered her own fans here and there. Just surprisingly, she's suddenly participating in GP999. Ofc her fans would hype her up everywhere , her tiktok hashtag is the most viewed among all of the participants, her fiesta fancam is the most viewed fancam too! And of course moas would check her out cause they're curious and all. This honestly just proves how popular she is in the show. The reason why she never got top 9 was because of the old voting system. It's very obvious that xiaorina were the safest pick not just for hiyyih stans, but for all of the contestants. And not to mention, earlier on, k-votes were pretty much divided because the competition is tight among k group contestants. Besides, not a lot of her stans are engaging much in the voting. Some were just casual stans who voted once in a while and that's it. But towards the end, more and more contestants were eliminated, and more fans started to come back and focused on voting for her. I think it's the consistency and dedication of her fandom that made her debut. Don't get me started on the screentime , I'm sure you've seen dayeon, yurina, sxt, wenzhe, myah a lot throughout the show. This is because mnet has their own favourite contestants. They push them a lot. So that they'll get the spotlight rather than contestants such as bahiyyih, yaning and caibing obviously. Let's be real, the real villain here is never the trainees, but mnet. As to how chaehyun went to P01 , well, again it's the one pick vote system that contributed to this. Also, the 50-50 vote distribution also was a determining factor. Gp999 is not well received in korea, the ratings were extremely low, thus not a lot of korean watch this show as much as the produce series. Regardless, korean votes weigh more than global votes. Let's say there's 100 korean votes, and 1 of them voted for chaehyun, she already got 1% of korean votes. But if there's 1000 global votes and only 1 voted for her, she only has 0.1% of it. That's why they say , 1 Korean Vote = 10 Global votes. Judging from the vote count analysis, Chaehyun's korean votes were the highest among everyone, altho her global votes is the 7th highest. And for hiyyih, her global votes were the highest among everyone, which was around 550k. Her korean votes is not that high tho, the only korean top 9 that has lesser korean votes than her was youngeun. But youngeun's global votes were insanely high, she was the 3rd highest in terms of that. That's why youngeun got 5th, hiyyih got 2nd, and chaehyun got 1st. Regarding yurina, I'm as devastated as you eventho I'm a hiyyih stans, but a lot were attacking hiyyih and calling her names for "stealing" yurina's spot? She actually didn't. From the analysis, even if you exclude hiyyih from it, yurina still doesn't stand a chance. She would still have to fight for the 9th spot with 4 other people, including shen xiao ting. Hiyyih's votes were already very hard to beat, but the reality is that, yurina's vote is really, really too low. Idk what happened but I guess a lot of stans dropped her for their own fav which is actually understandable. U said u voted every day, was it for su rui qi, bora or yurina? That's my question for you. We can't save everyone, really. Every fandom was working very hard, but I guess I can put it in this way, antis vote hard for the others, but bahiyyih's stan vote harder. Do not question why bahiyyih has stans from the very start, cause honestly everything is pretty much very subjective. If you couldn't see what is so special about her, it's normal. If you don't even stan her , it's acceptable too. But throwing hate, calling her names, deliberately shading her, and slandering her online is never a trend.. She has been receiving constant amount of hate since ep1 aired. A lot were doubting and cancelling her, some even thought she would've have made it to the top 18. I guess I can also say, one of the reason why hiyyih got to debut is because of the antis and haters. They made hiyyih stans this dedicated and motivated. We tolerate constructive criticisms actually, we also do agree that hiyyih has room for improvements, but no one tolerates slandering and bullying to a point that iktok hatepages were created just to shit on her, that aint cool. In conclusion, bahiyyih's fandom is extremely strong, probably the strongest out of them all. And this is actually a good sign, there's possibility that kep1er would break records since a lot of hiyyih fans decided to stan the whole group, that is if antis do not sabotage their debut and progression :) I do agree that the elimination of some trainees were a huge loss to Mnet. But, for a survival show, popularity is really a huge factor in securing a chance for debut. It has been like that for years now. I watched PD48, PDX101, a little bit of iland before, so honestly nothing is too much for me because I've already expected that things will take a huge turn for the contestants. I can only wish for the remaining 90 contestants to have a bright future ahead of them because it's not the end of the world and there's more great stuffs awaiting them in life. That's how I cope with disappointments. No matter how disappointed I am, I never want to sabotage the group because that's honestly too much and everyone on the show wants to debut. OT8 stans, I hope you make up your mind soon. I don't wish to see stans that exclude a certain contestant from their achievements and performances. Either u stan or u leave. Remember to spead love and not hate, it's never too late to escape from the hate bandwagon. I'm not asking everyone to love all of them equally but at least give all of them the respect they deserve. Fu Yaning 7. Su Ruiqi 8. Hikaru 9. Kim Chaehyun I also like Yurina but she barely make it even in total vote counts as she only rank 11. Chaehyun probably got the highest vote in Korea that's why she's number 1 but on total vote counts, she might be 9. Also Dayeon and Yeseo. Dayeon is number 13 on total vote counts and Yeseo is 10th.
Kim Chaehyun was always in the top 9 since the first ranking. She left the top 9 because of Seo Youngeun and Nonaka Shana’s benefit. She is the most popular trainee in Korea, her fans there gave her panic votes, hence why she is #1

But because of the voting system, as you said, she got the most votes in Korea , 50% is Korean votes. So even if she got lower vote international, she already got the 50 %.

One of the biggest reasons Xiaoting and Yurina ranked so high was because of Hiyyihlights. They were basically filler votes cause they already ranked high. But when the voting system changed so their ranks dropped. Cause they were used as filler votes by many fandoms. And Xiaoting is the top pick of many people. Yurina is popular but I don't think she is people's top pick. Also Koreans voted for mainly Korean trainees so that was a major factor. I love all the girls. I understand people are sad because their favourite trainees got eliminated but they have to understand that this is not a talent show. Popular trainees will definitely have an advantage. And at the end of the day talent is not everything (although it is very important) Luck, popularity etc are important as well. And please don't hate on anyone. With or without Bahiyyih in the show, Yaning and Ruiqi would have never made it because of the voting system giving more weight to Korean votes. So even if you think Bahiyyih didn't deserve it that much, she's not the reason why your picks didn't make it. I would have loved that they had given a planet pass to Yaning though. Anyways, I'm happy for Bahiyyih because Mnet clearly tried everything in order not to let her debut (not even giving her screentime in the final lol), and she received so much hate... That's why Hiyyihlights started working harder and we managed to make her debut.

The individual votings just showed how popular she is since fans are no longer obligated to give filler votes. I mean she always had the most views and like on other platforms. Hey look, you absolutely don't get how the voting really works. See I'll give you an example, if for example, I'm a Suyeon fan, and based on the voting previously like 1K 1C 1J, i will obviously vote for Suyeon for my K group, and then i will definitely pick someone who is a strong filler pick for my C and J that's why the right thing to do is to only vote for shen Xiaoting who is a safe pick or either Su Ruiqi, and for my J group, i would go with who i think is also the most popular J trainee and that would be either Mashiro or yurina or hikaru. That's why they all got this huge amount of votes previously because of how the system works and that's what really is bound to happen. It's just because they are a safe pick to vote, and the competion would be less for my favorite trainee like I said earlier who for example is Suyeon. I'll need to have a mindset like this in order for my pick to also come through in the top 9. So, like what happened in the latest ep, obviously they would choose only 1 trainee and that would definitely be who they're no.1 pick is and the filler picks of being Xiaoting and Yurina for example will have very little votes because they're just a filler to many K trainees especially in regards with voting and the distribution of the percentage of votes. If you would see the final results of the voting on the debut lineup, it was Bahiyyih who was really the most popular trainee having the most votes but lost to Chaehyun because of the Korean percent of votes. These 2 are really popular ever since the show started, so it is no surprise to me. It my be a sad reality but it is what is it, survival shows depends on the popularity of the trainee, you really need to have lots of fans better even before joining, to have a better chance really of debuting than just by having the talents but doesn't do well in terms of popularity. Mnet also cannot manipulate the votes ever again, because of their issues with the government. That's why the only thing Mnet can do if they don't like some trianees is to not give them the screentime and to promote the ones who they love to debut, that's why Bahiyyih as well as Chaehyun rarely had enough screen time especially Bahiyyih, Mnet's editing is on another level and it really sucks.

This group will most probably promote more in korea and is base on a korean survival show. So surely most members would be Korean. I understand that. I don't think that it is also rigged because the interims where release before the finals. its like a warning for the fans to panic vote. Overall I really like this line up and I am super happy that our girl hiyyih got a spot in the group regardless of the position. SHE DESERVED IT LIKE ANYBODY IN THE PROGRAM.
Recently, as China completely blocked broadcasts and tweets related to Korea, C group votes suddenly dropped. As a Korean, it was really shocking that ShenXiaoting was ranked 9th. The fact that China could not vote in real time... Unlike Japan, the time zones around the world were early morning or midnight, which was very disadvantageous for Chinese participants.

Your reaction is understandable and reasonable. Me myself as a hiyyih stan. I knew her from the show i didnt know before. I saw her introduction in my recomendation. Listen Im not a kpop fan neither Im a moa. I do listen to songs but I don't bother to check the artist or reality shows but I recently started seeing them. I saw her introduction and I kind of wanted to research on her. like you know the first person you see you feel attracted to them. After that i found out about her idol brother. I started watching the show Before her fiesta mission Bora was strongly my 1st place but after her fiesta performance she has been my top 1. Infact only 3 of my top 9 members made it. I was also shocked at the same time hiyyih was top 2 because she was 5th in the interim ranking and i thought she would be 6th 7th or like 4th. But I was wrong. She hasnt shown much to us but her videos from before cover songs are preety good . If you see those dancing videos and singing from before and the fancams throughout the show you can see she has improved. Also before it was 1:1:1 voting system but now its like 1 pick regardless of the group. She has always had the most strong fanbase in 1 pick because you can see her views. But that was not shown on the show with a 1hour and 50 mins ep she was give 2 mins screen time. I just knew that she was going to be bashed. Her story was never shown on the show like other. They gave all the girls a special moment but her in the final ep. This is my thought on this all her family members are quite famous her dad was chinese singer ( ithing i heard it somewhere) her sister was former member of VIVA ( if im right) and her brother is and idol. If she had gotten a video from her mom wishing her luck It may have been fine. But if she had gotten one from her dad, sister or brother there would have been so much more bashers because they would say " oh look she is again using """"""" for votes " . Im kind of glad that they didnt show that. I am sure she will show improvement and her personality on the variety show. I'm kinda neutral with bahiyyih tbh,i don't hate her but i don't like her too.But the only thing i can say is her vocals really are stable,VERY stable.Her visuals are quite ok(to me atleast) and there's no reason to hate on her.I get that your fav didn't get in the final lineup and ur fed up,me too when i was watching the live,when they were about to announce the top 2 i was waiting for Yurina and SXT to be called but then when bahiyyih was called i literally went into a state of shock,Chaehyun being 1 was kind of?expected bcuz of the interim rankings so i was a little baffled at the top 2 but at least SXT got to be in the lineup thank god.So in conclusion of my yapping,I can't tell you to love/hate this gurl bcuz imo liking a person is up to you yourself,unless she really doesn't do well during debut,then i will support this girl all the way wherever and whenever.
I was sad because Su Rui Qi been trying for way too long and she was not only played dirty last year in Chuang 2020, where every year, they debut 11 members, but that year they decided to debut only 7... she was 11th and would have debuted... and This year if not for Korean's more valuable votes, she would have been 7th... It’s sad but jgroup and cgroup contestants were basically fillers from round votes 1-3, HOWEVER, when it is individual voting, many fans were finally able to vote for their favourite member and as a result you can see the fans love Korean contestants more. And yes, Hiyyih fancams always show her popularity and dedicated fanbase despite her screen time but I always said to people that screen time doesn’t necessarily say you’ll debute but people just decided to say that idk anything well now today, they can see that it is the case, ranking has changed, it’s a surprise because we were use to seeing such contestants constantly being in such ranks but then it’s not surprising if you actually did the calculations and analytics
If you followed the other Korean survival programs, there's always a difference in the final lineup ranking because of the individual member votes (can only select one person) and yes 50% of the votes will be counted from the Korean voters, so most of the Korean made it to the final lineup. And about Bahiyyih, she has always been popular as personal single pick by international fans. She's my favorite too... Since the day one.

No she doesnt...? Vote count was actually close with top 5-6 trainees when it comes to vote count, its just that some of them were Chinese/Japanese and korean won't vote for them... Su Ruiqi and Fu Yaning would have both been in thegroup if each vote was equal and Kim da yeon got really small amount of votes, I think she is only 13th or 14th with vote count, but she got most of her votes from Koreans so because of the Korean vote mulriplier she jumps to 4th... that's what mean when I say that the voting system was shit, because somebody was getting easy way in because of korean votes, at the time of recording I thought its Bahiiyih at Chaehyun, but both of them would have been in the group regardles, even though chaehyun would have been 9th and not 1st
Bahiyyih got almost 0 screentime during this show. Less than 1 minute of screentime every episode over 3 months of filming and the sooo many hours of screening. So her personality and improvement throughout the show could not be seen, similarly to mashiro who we also barely formed a connection with. Because if reasons like this and because only bahiyyih fans voted for her, her rank was never top 9, but she was always placed high at around #12.

The power of JYP trainee. And you're right bahiyyih didn't do anything prior but her promo video went VERY viral in Korea and internationally so she got a lot of fans from there and when you watch the fancams of bahiyyih performance you can see she was really talented and people fell in love with her caring attitude I.e. in the first elimination where she told everyone to congratulate and be happy for yujin instead of criticising her rank. It frustrated soooo many people that mnet was discarding her and editing her out of the show. Therefore she was able to build a very solid and diehard fanbase since no one else was on bahiyyih side compared to other big trainees in top9 who received a lot of overall support from variety of voters. Idk if this affected her vote during the 2nd elimination, but at the time I-land had just announced their 2nd season and a lot of hiyyihlights started boycotting gp999 because of their bahi treatment and they wanted her to go to that show instead. And you can see this co-incided with her rank dropping. The previous voting system definitely didn't work in her favour however the one pick vote basically guaranteed her debut since she was the most popular trainee overall.

Actually the no.2 ranking may not good for her in the next 2.5 years which already bring tons of hating from knet, and JNets also blame her to take away Yurina's spot, CNets are confusing and don't care about this girl bcs they already hurt a lot from the whole season and even want Xiaoting to quite this hopeless group.
Some people are saying rigged and vote manipulation but I believe the SK court system is watching all Mnet shows and they were required to use a third party (in this case the Universe app company) to track and tally the votes so rigging and manipulation could not be done. However, I do know they definitely used power of persuasion to influence others and I think the double vote also impacted the vote significantly.
I believe there is no manipulation in the GP999 vote results, especially as Mnet has received much public attention because of the rigged and manipulation incident for all the Produces series,.

One thing you didn't know that is Shen Xiaoting's rank dropped to 16th place during interim ranking before the Final. And also the voting system has changed to 1 pick system. Bahiyyih has the strongest fanbase when it comes to 1 pick voting system. She ranked #1 in 115 countries in the final and was #1 globally. Bahiyyih's interim rank was 5th place before the Final. So she jumped 3 spots in the Final. There's no surprise for this Final Line Up. We expected this kind of line up when Mnet announced the voting will be 1 pick system.

Interim ranking where Su Ruiqi had 2nd most votes combined and Fu Yaning 3rd? at the end they arent in top11? yeah... definitely nothing to do with Koreans having more valuable votes, if we went based of vote count, they would both be in top9... Kim Chae Hyun would have been 9th, Kim Da Yeon 14th, Mashiro 2nd and many other completely different rankings
It’s actually fair both of the top 2 have the biggest fandoms, I’m part of Kim Chaehyun fandom, we had help from MY’s ( Aespa fandom ) and with the Chinese NCT dream fan base. We streamed and voted for them in the music shows in exchange of them voting on the app for us. A fairly exchange, our fan base is really big and with their help we definitely did it. Of course Chaehyun is the pick of the Korean public but yah. All the positions are fair, the sistem was being controlled by the police, they did not wanted another Unfair Survival Show

The live votes counted 2 times as much as the prevote. Bahiyyih got 1st place in 115 countries. This is because double votes. The lowest Bahiyyih was in voting ranks was 14th (I think) in the third elimination. Edit: I’ve seen a lot of negative about Su Rui Qi about some less than great comments she made. There were many Koreans saying the group would flop if Fu Yaning or Su Rui Qi made the group because of image issues.

Only one can vote in the final round.Then everyone's places change.Your girl came another round in top 9 because only three people could vote. But she is not the main pick of those who voted for her.so this final rank..this is normal .korean member's fanbase high..many people 's main pick are korean members .

I know, I voted myself... but it still makes no sense, because if you had Bahiyyih as favorite in K Group, then you would vote for her when you had to choose 1 from each group, but how come she was 15th previous ranking and now she is 1st in 115 countries? and also before Choi Yu Jin and Kim Da Yeon were top2 in K Group by a mile, so how come now both of them got jumped over by Bahiyyih and Chae Hyun?

Many other girls who would have been higher were eliminated because of the “benefit” from the creation mission. And some of the girls who would have been eliminated were saved due to the “benefit” from the creation mission.
@@MartiNReacTs Because Korean votes mattered more than international since they were 50% more. So if a trainee got a lot of Korean votes, they ranked high. Seo Young Eun actually got the third most votes but only ranked fifth because she had less Korean votes than those ranked above her.
I keep hearing the term Bahyyiyh has a solid fan base. I don't disagree, it's abundantly clear lot of people voted for her. I guess my question is how did she get this fan base. Did she release songs prior, was she on another survival show. Did the fan base grow organically from THIS show? How do people get to know her this show (as in be P2), if she barely got much screen time from MNET. I've no issue if people voted for her. At the end of the day, your vote is your vote, no one can take that away. But if it is because of her brother; at least be honest with it. I also hope that after this group debuts, her fans will continue to support this group; and not just drop them because the competition is over.
exactly my issue... I didn't get to see anything from her this show because of no screen time and she didnt do anything prio to this, thats why I dont get where all the loyal fans are coming from

When you have such a polarizing figure (you either hate her or love her) people who watch the show are recommended GP999 stuff on all their socials. And then they see her fancams or her group or posts about her as a result and see all the hate she gets/was getting at the time. They then wanna know why and wanna see why people are always bashing this specific person. This amount of hate usually comes after a MAJOR scandal where someone did or said something horrible and that’s what people expected to find. But they found nothing. Just that it happened she had a brother who they knew about but didn’t stan or listen to. They didn’t see a justified reason for people hating her during the show and they saw that MNet was giving her absolutely nothing. People love to root for an underdog so because of the immense amount of haters, people jumped on board to protect her from those haters. That caused more hate because she was receiving more attention that they perceived as being from her brother even though it was from her being hated, and that caused more protective fans. That’s where 65% of her fan base lies. Anybody I know who likes her doesn’t listen to TXT or even know that Kai is under BigHit. They felt horrible for this 17 year old minor who was being bashed for circumstances out of her control and saw she had a good amount talent and a sweet personality. So they jumped on board for her.
this can be easily answered, she got the initial hype from her brother which is true and it’s not a bad thing because people knew of her and had their eye out for her. People are not being her fan because of her brother but only when her first fancam came out i suddenly saw a rise of fan pages and fans. you can see in every fancam she gets lots of views and this is where she gets her fans from. Some people who don’t even watch the show click on the videos because of it being recommended. Then also the fan meeting, afterwards there were more korean votes i noticed which means she must of won them over in the fan meeting. Then you also have to remember her name is very well known and when you go into the universe app she is always at the top for klaps so i assume that also boosted her popularity from people seeing her there. She’s also in general a really likeable person and since mnet tried to hide her so much many people realised and it made them want to like her more. The biggest factor is probably that her fans know how competitions like this work. Many of them are previous produce watchers and know how to vote and promote her. Once there is a big amount of fans it’s easier to get bigger and bigger and that’s what happened for her. If people really didn’t like her and it was just for their brother i feel like their would’ve gotten bored and just stopped if they really saw no potential and interest in her.
what?? yeah she may have gotten a bit of a jump bc she’s related to HK but her visuals are so beautiful and in many of the pairs she’s been in, she usually had the most stable vocals, better dancing, and eventually improved her expressions. she deserves the spot especially since people keep shitting her just for her family 😑😑
I personally discovered her because of Kai but I followed her and voted for her because I like the underdogs and I hated people that bullied her. She has a strong one pick fandom which is what carried her. Also the more people hated on Bahiyyih the more fans she gained and the harder we Hiyyihlights voted. I’ve heard people started supporting Hiyyih because of the hate in the first place. So if you guys are upset about Hiyyih then blame the haters because they were our motivation to get her in top nine. We were even aiming for P01 out of spite 🤷🏽♀️ it’s not unfair it’s just that the others didn’t have as strong a fan base

My comments to your comments are as follows: 4:48 This is not full of a surprise if you see the interim result. Kim Chaehyun remains as no 1 in the final result, as she is also no 1 in the interim result. Huening Bahiyyih got a lot of voting boost, as she was no 5 in the interim rank and now she is no 2 in the final result. Congrats to both of them. 8:17 Among the C contestant, Shu Rui Qi is my C number 1. She has a cheerful personality and she can get well with everybody. She was ranked 9 during the interim result, but I am sad that suddenly her rank dropped out of the top 11 in the final result. It was a huge drop. What were her voters doing? Suddenly vote to another trainee? 9:24 I also fell in Love with Bora. Aside from her vocal ability, she has an excellent Leader personality among the 18 girls. But it seems that either her supporters either forgot to vote for her or gave up on her. Even some Cherry Bullet fans don’t want her to see her debut with Kep1er. I am sad she was at the bottom rank of the 9 Korean girls in the final. She deserves to be higher.

I think bahiyyih got many votes BC of not only her singing/dancing skills but also for her personality/vibe I love her and I think she deserved to take place in the debut group, I do agree that being 2nd place is a bit high but still I am very happy for her and the line up was great just Kim boraaa should have been there 😭😭😭
but I feel like we didnt get to see any of her personality, she got no screen time... I hope once they start doing some variety shows both Bahiyyih and Chae Hyun will show more of their personality

I absolutely loved her intro and I'm a fan of TXT but honestly didn't click with the last name until it was pointed out in ep one 😅 If you're having a hard time trying to justify how Bahiyyih got her fans due to her low screen time it's because her fans are the ones promoting her fancams and other small clips from RUclips. :)

Because some fans like us hiyyihlights vote yurina and xiaoting as filler for bahiyyih. Same as the other fans so when the last voting is just one. Most of hiyyihlights priorities to vote her every single day. And when the interim check bahiyyih rank 5 so biyyihlights took that as motivation to vote even more. And lets be honest. Most of the knetz don't want another race to become center. And this isn't rigged because hiyyih is the living proof. The amount of mistreatment she gets on mnet is so high that you can only see her each episode having seconds to 1 minutes screen time. And lastly most of their fans felt relax because they thought their picks are safe not knowing everyone are not safe.. i just hate to see bahiyyih getting hate because she P02 she deserved that as much as the other trainee. Hope the fans see that. And hoping for the e worded trainee to debut soon. I am sure many companies will scout them because the top 18 are all worthy to debut.

I was so fucking pissed. Literally so fucking pissed. This was not worth the sweat and mistreatment the C girls went through. Su Ruiqi had her confidence and light sucked out of her. Fu Yaning and Cai Bing had their reputations smeared, and their abilities doubted. Cai Bing is actually really good at dancing, and there's this one clip on RUclips from another show she attended where it shows how she can basically just watch the instructor dance and dance synchronously with them, without even taking that much time to learn it. I'm extra pissed about Fu Yaning, because not only is she a very good person, she's also a highly capable trainee (she's a vocal major who graduated from a pretty prestigious Chinese university). Even Wang Yale, a literal music major from a good university, was edited into an incapable person. J girls got no voting time, or time to really even show off their abilities. Mashiro and Hikaru are capable sweethearts and I love them, but they should have ranked higher. 7th and 8th??? Are you kidding me? Yurina didn't even fucking make it. Kim Bora, the only K girl who should have 100% made it based off of her abilities, and also the best vocal remaining on the show, did not make it. And it's not even just because of the lack of filler voting. If you actually look at the global voting numbers, you'll get this: 1. Huening Bahiyyih received 525,465 votes. 2. Sakamoto Mashiro received 488,519 votes. 3. Seo Youngeun received 442,102 votes. 4. Choi Yujin received 428,967 votes. 5. Shen Xiaoting received 425,464 votes. 6. Fu Yaning received 419,618 votes. 7. Su Ruiqi received 417,715 votes. 8. Ezaki Hikaru received 387,709 votes 9. Kim Chaehyun received 363,623 votes. 10. Kang Yeseo received 320,312 votes. 11. Kawaguchi Yurina received 278,775 votes. 12. And then we have a ton of reports from Chinese trainees that they are massively mistreated by the crew, and the Japanese trainees get no screentime- My fucking god, this thing is cracked. At this point, I would have even preferred that they rig the show. Even that would have been better than what we have.
I was agreeing to everything u said but about the last sentence, it's still wrong. Don't normalize rigging please. I'm sure u've heard of x1's and iz*one's rigging scandal, and the price they had to pay was very very huge. X1 immediately disbanded, without a chance to bid goodbye to their fans. And IZ*ONE had to endure months long of hiatus to let this scandal dim down. It's very risky and it's not worth it in the long run. Even after IZ*ONE returned, they were already perceived as the RIGGED GROUP by antis and the general public, not to mention toxic kpop stans who really wants izone gone since their PD48 pick got swapped by other trainees.
The voting system was what ruined all of this. Bahiyiih being on top 1 if ever is a bit nah, but we can easily move on to it if only the top 9 is based on total votes and not that voting system. We loss 2 of the greatest C Trainees of the show,and it's sad to know that we loss them just because of the voting system and not because us, international fans lacks votes. Because we cannot do anything on Korean vote percentage.

Well it's more suspicious that she didn't ranked within the 9 early in the competition. Probably the voters had to choose 2 other girls to get their vote in for Bahiyyih but when the voting system changed to 1 pick who would they vote? Also, based on history of K-pop, support from international fans wouldn't assure success on their careers. Most of the acts are big in the world because they were supported locally.
everyone deserves debut... some people more than others and she was definitely on the less deserving side... I mean this was literally her first thing in her career and she debuted already... for poor Su Rui Qi this is 3rd survival show already, Fu Ya Ning 2nd... like I wish debut for everyone who wants it, but am sad when people who worked for it much more and are more skilled, won't get it
Hello Martin, I am a bit disappointed in your reaction to Bahiyyih. I understand you are not coming from a negative stance with your response; however, please keep in mind people did vote her in. I will not tell you to love her or give her a chance (not based on your reaction), but I want you to be mindful when you make these reaction videos because you did the same thing with Patrick making the debut group in the finale of Chuang 2021. I know you do not mean it to be malicious, and you are trying to be organic with your reaction however, it is a slap to those who did vote for the girl who is getting a lot of hate and criticism. I am not a Bahiyyih stan, and I understand that people are shocked at how she ranked 2 when Mnet did not focus on her other than that snippet about her being HK's younger sister and snippets here and there. I was appalled at the top 2 candidates being announced. However, it is MNET that is at fault for the voting system and needs to be clarified. They are at fault for really creating a broken system, and we did not see that until the finale. Those who voted for the trainees did so because of their own choice, and no one should be faulted for voting or supporting their respected trainee. For disappointed people, please let this be the lesson (take it from someone who watched the 4 seasons of Produce); never 'assume' your trainee is "safe" until that finishing line. That is where the mistake is, and there's a reason why in the end, Mnet kept mentioning 50% Korean votes and 50% International votes. There was no fixed ratio therefore no one is safe, if anyone watched Produce 48 they know that the final line up consisted of 3 Japanese girls from the 48 group and 9 Korean trainees.
Patrick was something completely different... in chuang 2020 it wasn't about him at all, it was about the rank he was at, because if I wanted both Oscar and Liu Zhang, one of them had to be announced then... I never was sad that Patrick debuted, but people thought of it because I wasn't jumping and shouting when he was announced, I was sad that I realized not both Oscar and Liu Zhang gonna debut.... While here "issue" is that mnet tried their best to have as many koreans in the group as possible and were clearly showing bias towards trainees with editing and voting system.... I have nothing against Bahiyyih, but if voting stayed as it was before, she wouldn't have debut and also how am I supposed to be excited about her or Chae Hyun in the group, when neither of them got to show their personality in the show and got barely any screen time... yeah they are popular, but I know nothing about them after watching 25 hours of the show

Also a lot of international fans voted for their Korean one-pick as well. (I did cause Young Eun is my bias and she deserved to debut in this group.) Xiaoting and Yurina were my Chinese and Japanese top pick but I couldn't vote for them because I really wanted my bias to debut.

I used this as a reply to one of the comments here, might as well:
this is something that will be very hard to digest for viewers/fans of the show, like majority, they have tons of question marks from where the votes came from. we can be EXTREMELY honest since it has come to this. let's face it: 1- txt fans(moa), 2- bandwagons trying to oppose the hate, 3- hiyyihlights. guess what, the lowest number of voters out of those three? easily hiyyihlights. also explains why she had low ranks from earlier episodes. now the moa & bandwagons kicked in as the show progressed, trying to prove their point as the strong voting team, and that a young girl should not be hated for trying to pursue her dream. were they wrong for voting/rooting for bahiyyih? err, not entirely. people who wanted a very strong/balanced lineup will have endless discussions as to why she's not supposed to be there.
Now i have friends who are txt fans, they wanted to see what kai's sister has to offer. some of them really watched the show from start to finish, and started rooting for the other trainees, and after the final lineup, of course they're happy for bahiyyih, but felt bad knowing the other deserving trainees. now some txt fans didn't watch or didn't finish watching the show, they still voted for hiyyih from start to finish just to help her. okay, maybe her fans will say "but hiyyih is nice, she has a nice personality, we liked her because of that, she's really talented & stable.." alright, where were those during the show? what scene? what episode? or maybe you saw those somewhere else, care to send the link? because we can't justify your support. some might say "can't you guys be supportive and wait for her to improve? she'll show great improvement soon..", but there were trainees who were ready to debut, matter of fact almost all of the finalists are ready to debut anytime. this could've been easier if she was on par with maybe just one of the 8 other members? but I don't think so.
I actually watched the show because of yujin and i'm a cheshire, she's my bias-wrecker in CLC, and while watching the first released videos, i was curious who huening bahiyyih was and why her video was getting lotta views. I even thought she was pretty, and her introduction was kinda cute & funny. after their demo stage, man was I disappointed. I know some will throw the Sohye & Hyewon card to justify including her in the final lineup, no you can't. Those two had a storyline which was highlighted throughout the series, and that's how they received love from the public. imagine what her overall rank would be if she wasn't related to kai? will she reach the finale too?
Who's to blame for this? The voting system. 1pick really messed up and its too hard for people rooting for many trainees. Mnet had to change it since C&J group dominated every elimination. IF: they kept the k/c/j 3:3:3 ratio, would've been awesome, but backlash from koreans saying "oh this is kpop, of course koreans should dominate", or all votes will be counted equal and no 50% korean-weighing, but they'll throw the kpop is korean line again..
am i disappointed with the lineup? yes. will i stan? still yes, because i'm already attached to the girls, even the eliminated ones. i guess to turn this around hiyyih needs to show improvement and prove us wrong in a short amount of time, but im afraid time is too short coz i think they're debuting by year-end? i might be wrong just an assumption since MAMA is back and mnet aims to debut them there?..
very well said... we are not hating on Bahiyyih, but if you are her fan, you can't be surprised that we are upset, when even as her fans say... she got no screen time.... why should I be excited for her being in the group, when I literally don't even know her? Hyewon card literally can be used, why? Hyewon was the least talented member in iz*one, I'm speaking from a wizone perspective because I stan izone too. A lot perceived her as the talent hole in the group, and she was voted in for her visuals. So, I can say the same thing about hyewon. She was already popular throughout the show, although she made a breakthrough during boombayah, but if you really want to talk about talents, tons were better than her. Chowon, gaeun at the start deserved that ranking much more than her. Now notice how people are doing the same thing to hiyyih? But honestly speaking, hiyyih is really better than hyewon. Literally. And now, why is it acceptable that hyewon debuts whereas hiyyih can't get acceptance from most of the people?

And the lineup wasn't perfect and ideal at first, the group was thought to be flops cause the public think they were all visuals and no talent, in fact 2 members were rigged in. But through effort and time, iz*one managed to recapture general public's attention after the scandal broke out. So i believe kep1er would do the same, even if the haters outnumber fans for now..

I think I can say the majority of Bahiyyih's fans checked her out because she is Kai's sister. No one is denying that she got attention and initial hype because of that. But having attention and keeping it up for more than two months are two different things. The only reason why people spent so much time voting for her and even spending money on Klaps is because they actually like HER.
I wouldn't have sit through this horrible show, filled with trainees I didn't like, voting every single day and going through heartattacks at every single elimination JUST because she is Kai's sister. Like, I love you TXT, but that's not worthy XD
I did all of this because I like Bahiyyih. I liked her since her first introduction video where her personality is so bright and funny.
She received nothing from Mnet. No hype, no attention, no screentime. They pretended she didn't exist because they didn't want her in the lineup. Watch the final episode and tell me how many times you see Bahiyyih compared to any other girl. Exactly, they hoped if people didn't see her, they wouldn't live vote for her.

Bahiyyih's Fiesta fancam is in the Top10 most viewed K-pop fancams of 2021. In a Top10 filled with BTS fancams. How can it be that she is up there and Kai or anyone of TXT isn't? She has a fandom of her own now.

I decided to vote for Sunghoon in I-land as soon as I discovered one contestant was an ice skater. I didn't know ANYTHING about him, not even how he looked or his skills, but I had already decided I would support him no matter what, I did it and he debuted in Enhypen. You may say "that's a stupid reason to vote for someone", but I don't give a damn, I think this is the best part of survival shows: you can choose your picks for the strangest reasons.
Bahiyyih's situation is similar to Hanbin's in I-land. Hanbin got so much hype because he would have been the first vietnamese idol in K-pop. He got ZERO screentime but people supported him and voted for him and little by little we could see his skills. The attention came for his nationality, his continuous success in votes arrived for his skills and kind personality even with no screentime. He was only eliminated by producers.

There are some people on the internet totally denying Kai's influence and they are 100% delusional. I recognize that if she wasn't Kai's sister she wouldn't be here, BUT the majority of Bahiyyih's fans (myself included) just says that the reason she kept her initial popularity is because people liked HER. And this is a fact, no one i going to vote for 2 months for someone they don't like just because she is someone's sister. Many checked her out because of Kai, the ones who stayed did it because they liked Bahiyyih.
Had she tried to do literally anything like getting a killing part, then Mnet would have evil edited the hell out of her and that's not even a question. But because she never really made mistakes or got involved in drama, the only thing Mnet could do was to ignore her and they did it until the very end. They even tried to influence the live voting by not showing her at ALL while praising Xiaoting to no end.
I know technically it's not a correct thing to do, but people are calling out ONLY Bahiyyih's fans and that's not fair. Every single fandom was encouraging people to make more accounts, so why is Bahiyyih' the only fandom getting dragged for this?
Personally I made only two accounts: one for me and one for my friend who couldn't download the app on her phone but wanted to vote for Bahiyyih. I don't care what others do, but we need to call everyone out, not just Bahiyyih's fandom as I have seen so many people do.
Mnet is shit, I don't think anyone can deny that. Giving 50% power to Korean votes was WRONG and I will always say that, but even with that, Bahiyyih would have debuted (she would have been first) and Yurina would still be out. The way they distributed screentime was also messed up, no one is denying that. But it also has nothing to do with Bahiyyih: she still didn't receive favoritism, her teams never won and her international votes were still higher than any C and J trainee.
I think the 1 pick system should have been brought in way earlier so that people could see the real popularity of the girls and make decisions with more time. Also no 50% power to Koreans, that was wrong.
But after that, it is still a popularity contest, Yaning and Ruiqi should have debuted (they were in the Top9 of overall votes), and it's strange still seeing people (not you in particular, I'm talking in general, even just this comment section) that are so surprised the popular trainees win over the more talented ones. It has always been like this and with a voting system it's the result you will have. There is no point in complaining about the talented trainees left out.
The only thing about THIS lineup that is messed up is the fact that by overall votes Ruiqi and Yaning should have been inside (and I'm sad too, Yaning was one of my picks, just not my first pick). This is something that can be up to discussion. But that amazing trainees like Bora or Shana didn't make it it's not Mnet's fault: they are just not as popular as others.
In the end I didn't really like the entire concept of the show, how people got obsessed with having a perfect diversity ratio and how Mnet handled foreign trainees. Had all the trainees being given fair chances and no favoritism/evil editing, then then the need for a "good ratio" becomes pointless. If these girls are truly equal (as they are of course), then they should compete against each other and may the most popular win. Forcing people to vote based on nationality is not something that I enjoyed because imo it's like saying "C and J trainees can only make it if we force people to vote for them or have a locked ratio in the final lineup".
So the show was FILLED with problematic stuff and I get people's frustration, but out of all this stuff, Bahiyyih debuting is the less problematic thing. She wasn't favored by Mnet, she didn't do anything questionable (as much as I like Ruiqi and Yaning they did problematic stuff outside the competition and that's not part of evil editing), she won fairly in any way you want to look at the votes. She is there because she is popular and that's the goal of the show, or shoulf be the goal.
But I understand that people are not happy about her because they don't know her at all and because their picks were eliminated. These feelings, as long as it's not hate, are justified.
What I can't understand is Bahiyyih ending up in arguments about C and J trainees' treatment and the ratio: she has nothing to do with that.
Also some fans just are always shocked after a survival show and forget that it's about popularity and not talent. These fans are annoying because they KNOW what they are getting into (a popularity contest) and still complain because the most popular are not always the most talented.
Actually Bahiyyih proves that even with 0 screentime you can still debut if the show isn't rigged and you are super popular. That's the same thing Hanbin in I-land was going to prove, but sadly got eliminated by producers before he could do it.

Same here,although the group isn't perfect and what i wanted I'm quite happy with it.We did lose some great talents such as:Su RuiQi,Yurina,Bora,Fu Yaning and so on but with the final lineup overall i think it's quite all rounded, definitely going to be good at dance but overall we have great vocalists,great rappers and superb dancers.
bahiyyih was 2nd because her fanbase has been strong 1 pick from the start.. and she never got into top 9 because her fans had to vote for other trainees, but with 1 pick voting she was bound to go up as her fans had no obligation to vote anyone. if you see her total vote counts in final, its the same amount she has been getting from the beginning while everyone's dropped..

*To answer you why hiyyih has a whole planet of loyal stans* : (a very long essay)
Her sister, Lea is a former kpop idol. Now that she's a normal person being, she's very active in social media. In the past, hiyyih can be easily seen in her vlogs, tiktoks and ig live. And from that on, she garnered her own fans here and there. Just surprisingly, she's suddenly participating in GP999. Ofc her fans would hype her up everywhere , her tiktok hashtag is the most viewed among all of the participants, her fiesta fancam is the most viewed fancam too! And of course moas would check her out cause they're curious and all. This honestly just proves how popular she is in the show. The reason why she never got top 9 was because of the old voting system. It's very obvious that xiaorina were the safest pick not just for hiyyih stans, but for all of the contestants. And not to mention, earlier on, k-votes were pretty much divided because the competition is tight among k group contestants. Besides, not a lot of her stans are engaging much in the voting. Some were just casual stans who voted once in a while and that's it. But towards the end, more and more contestants were eliminated, and more fans started to come back and focused on voting for her. I think it's the consistency and dedication of her fandom that made her debut. Don't get me started on the screentime , I'm sure you've seen dayeon, yurina, sxt, wenzhe, myah a lot throughout the show. This is because mnet has their own favourite contestants. They push them a lot. So that they'll get the spotlight rather than contestants such as bahiyyih, yaning and caibing obviously. Let's be real, the real villain here is never the trainees, but mnet.
As to how chaehyun went to P01 , well, again it's the one pick vote system that contributed to this. Also, the 50-50 vote distribution also was a determining factor. Gp999 is not well received in korea, the ratings were extremely low, thus not a lot of korean watch this show as much as the produce series. Regardless, korean votes weigh more than global votes. Let's say there's 100 korean votes, and 1 of them voted for chaehyun, she already got 1% of korean votes. But if there's 1000 global votes and only 1 voted for her, she only has 0.1% of it. That's why they say , 1 Korean Vote = 10 Global votes. Judging from the vote count analysis, Chaehyun's korean votes were the highest among everyone, altho her global votes is the 7th highest.
And for hiyyih, her global votes were the highest among everyone, which was around 550k. Her korean votes is not that high tho, the only korean top 9 that has lesser korean votes than her was youngeun. But youngeun's global votes were insanely high, she was the 3rd highest in terms of that. That's why youngeun got 5th, hiyyih got 2nd, and chaehyun got 1st.
Regarding yurina, I'm as devastated as you eventho I'm a hiyyih stans, but a lot were attacking hiyyih and calling her names for "stealing" yurina's spot? She actually didn't. From the analysis, even if you exclude hiyyih from it, yurina still doesn't stand a chance. She would still have to fight for the 9th spot with 4 other people, including shen xiao ting. Hiyyih's votes were already very hard to beat, but the reality is that, yurina's vote is really, really too low. Idk what happened but I guess a lot of stans dropped her for their own fav which is actually understandable. U said u voted every day, was it for su rui qi, bora or yurina? That's my question for you. We can't save everyone, really. Every fandom was working very hard, but I guess I can put it in this way, antis vote hard for the others, but bahiyyih's stan vote harder.
Do not question why bahiyyih has stans from the very start, cause honestly everything is pretty much very subjective. If you couldn't see what is so special about her, it's normal. If you don't even stan her , it's acceptable too. But throwing hate, calling her names, deliberately shading her, and slandering her online is never a trend.. She has been receiving constant amount of hate since ep1 aired. A lot were doubting and cancelling her, some even thought she would've have made it to the top 18. I guess I can also say, one of the reason why hiyyih got to debut is because of the antis and haters. They made hiyyih stans this dedicated and motivated. We tolerate constructive criticisms actually, we also do agree that hiyyih has room for improvements, but no one tolerates slandering and bullying to a point that iktok hatepages were created just to shit on her, that aint cool. In conclusion, bahiyyih's fandom is extremely strong, probably the strongest out of them all. And this is actually a good sign, there's possibility that kep1er would break records since a lot of hiyyih fans decided to stan the whole group, that is if antis do not sabotage their debut and progression :)
I do agree that the elimination of some trainees were a huge loss to Mnet. But, for a survival show, popularity is really a huge factor in securing a chance for debut. It has been like that for years now. I watched PD48, PDX101, a little bit of iland before, so honestly nothing is too much for me because I've already expected that things will take a huge turn for the contestants. I can only wish for the remaining 90 contestants to have a bright future ahead of them because it's not the end of the world and there's more great stuffs awaiting them in life. That's how I cope with disappointments. No matter how disappointed I am, I never want to sabotage the group because that's honestly too much and everyone on the show wants to debut. OT8 stans, I hope you make up your mind soon. I don't wish to see stans that exclude a certain contestant from their achievements and performances. Either u stan or u leave.
Remember to spead love and not hate, it's never too late to escape from the hate bandwagon. I'm not asking everyone to love all of them equally but at least give all of them the respect they deserve. I'm done, and tired. And I tried speaking out my opinions, and if that doesn't work out then it's pointless anymore.

One of the biggest reasons Xiaoting and Yurina ranked so high was because of Hiyyihlights. They were basically filler votes cause they already ranked high. But when the voting system changed so their ranks dropped. Cause they were used as filler votes by many fandoms. And Xiaoting is the top pick of many people. Yurina is popular but I don't think she is people's top pick. Also Koreans voted for mainly Korean trainees so that was a major factor. I love all the girls. I understand people are sad because their favourite trainees got eliminated but they have to understand that this is not a talent show. Popular trainees will definitely have an advantage. And at the end of the day talent is not everything (although it is very important) Luck, popularity etc are important as well. And please don't hate on anyone. You can dislike someone but sending hate is a different issue. Even my pick Bora didn't make it. Do try to keep your heart open to everyone. I am sure Kep1er will prove themselves worthy. Anyways, I'm happy for Bahiyyih because Mnet clearly tried everything in order not to let her debut (not even giving her screentime in the final lol), and she received so much hate... Hey look, you absolutely don't get how the voting really works. See I'll give you an example, if for example, I'm a Suyeon fan, and based on the voting previously like 1K 1C 1J, i will obviously vote for Suyeon for my K group, and then i will definitely pick someone who is a strong filler pick for my C and J that's why the right thing to do is to only vote for shen Xiaoting who is a safe pick or either Su Ruiqi, and for my J group, i would go with who i think is also the most popular J trainee and that would be either Mashiro or yurina or hikaru. That's why they all got this huge amount of votes previously because of how the system works and that's what really is bound to happen. It's just because they are a safe pick to vote, and the competion would be less for my favorite trainee like I said earlier who for example is Suyeon. I'll need to have a mindset like this in order for my pick to also come through in the top 9. So, like what happened in the latest ep, obviously they would choose only 1 trainee and that would definitely be who they're no.1 pick is and the filler picks of being Xiaoting and Yurina for example will have very little votes because they're just a filler to many K trainees especially in regards with voting and the distribution of the percentage of votes. If you would see the final results of the voting on the debut lineup, it was Bahiyyih who was really the most popular trainee having the most votes but lost to Chaehyun because of the Korean percent of votes. These 2 are really popular ever since the show started, so it is no surprise to me. It my be a sad reality but it is what is it, survival shows depends on the popularity of the trainee, you really need to have lots of fans better even before joining, to have a better chance really of debuting than just by having the talents but doesn't do well in terms of popularity. Mnet also cannot manipulate the votes ever again, because of their issues with the government. That's why the only thing Mnet can do if they don't like some trianees is to not give them the screentime and to promote the ones who they love to debut, that's why Bahiyyih as well as Chaehyun rarely had enough screen time especially Bahiyyih, Mnet's editing is on another level and it really sucks.

They may have known their connection but may have been more curious on how she'll do and tbh it isn't quite bad, she's adorable and the potential is crazy high. They could have been that they were curious about her and what she could bring on the stage despite knowing how mnet works and giving her a shit screentime that's why they maybe were so mad and were eager to vote for her no matter what. Also knowing how much hate she had even from the start of the show may have been reasons why she gained followers and ppl started protecting her. The screentime she got from the start till the end, showed quite promising potential that she has. Having those stable vocals as well as good dancing skills. They may have seen a bright future for her and characteristics unique to her despite the screentime. She may be lacking in terms of skills compared to others but man I could see her killing it 100% when she debuts, mark my words.

There's legit people who voted Bahiyyih because of her brother. I have BigHit/Hybe-loyal friends (mostly ARMYs and some MOAs who can be really crazy at times) who don't watch GP999, I only show them clips of performances that I liked and they tell me, 'Isn't Huening Kai's sister there? You do realize that if they had one-pick voting from the beginning (something Mnet does in every survival show they hold so it shouldn't come as a surprise, and is also the best way at determining the ACTUAL popularity of a contestant) Chaehyun and Bahiyyih would've been the top 2 (or close to it at least) for the entirety of the show.

Where were all of you when talented K group trainees were getting eliminated in favor of J and C group trainees that weren't shown to be as talented on the show purely because of voting restrictions? Not to mention that one-pick is the best way for the finale to go and no one can convince me otherwise. Why would we want a girl to make it into the group that people only picked because they needed to pick one from that country, and not because she's their actual favorite? The only problem I had with the finale voting system is that they should have made Korean votes count for a little less. I still think it should have counted for more than international votes (since after all, this will be a KOREAN pop group promoting in KOREA), but 50% was too much imo.

This group will most probably promote more in korea and is base on a korean survival show. So surely most members would be Korean. I understand that. I don't think that it is also rigged because the interims where release before the finals. its like a warning for the fans to panic vote. Overall I really like this line up and I am super happy that our girl hiyyih got a spot in the group regardless of the position. SHE DESERVED IT LIKE ANYBODY IN THE PROGRAM.
Recently, as China completely blocked broadcasts and tweets related to Korea, C group votes suddenly dropped. As a Korean, it was really shocking that ShenXiaoting was ranked 9th. The fact that China could not vote in real time... Unlike Japan, the time zones around the world were early morning or midnight, which was very disadvantageous for Chinese participants.

Your reaction is understandable and reasonable. Me myself as a hiyyih stan. I knew her from the show i didnt know before. I saw her introduction in my recomendation. Listen Im not a kpop fan neither Im a moa. I do listen to songs but I don't bother to check the artist or reality shows but I recently started seeing them. I saw her introduction and I kind of wanted to research on her. like you know the first person you see you feel attracted to them. After that i found out about her idol brother. I started watching the show Before her fiesta mission Bora was strongly my 1st place but after her fiesta performance she has been my top 1. Infact only 3 of my top 9 members made it. I was also shocked at the same time hiyyih was top 2 because she was 5th in the interim ranking and i thought she would be 6th 7th or like 4th. But I was wrong. She hasnt shown much to us but her videos from before cover songs are preety good . If you see those dancing videos and singing from before and the fancams throughout the show you can see she has improved. Also before it was 1:1:1 voting system but now its like 1 pick regardless of the group. She has always had the most strong fanbase in 1 pick because you can see her views. But that was not shown on the show with a 1hour and 50 mins ep she was give 2 mins screen time. I just knew that she was going to be bashed. Her story was never shown on the show like other. They gave all the girls a special moment but her in the final ep. This is my thought on this all her family members are quite famous her dad was chinese singer ( ithing i heard it somewhere) her sister was former member of VIVA ( if im right) and her brother is and idol. If she had gotten a video from her mom wishing her luck It may have been fine. But if she had gotten one from her dad, sister or brother there would have been so much more bashers because they would say " oh look she is again using """"""" for votes " . Im kind of glad that they didnt show that. I am sure she will show improvement and her personality on the variety show. SO everyone please dont hate on her and give her the chance to prove herself because she never got the chance to do so on the show. Bahiyyih know about the negativity and it is going to afftect her badly. The girls are pretty close to eachother so it is going to afftect them to. I'm kinda neutral with bahiyyih tbh,i don't hate her but i don't like her too.But the only thing i can say is her vocals really are stable,VERY stable.Her visuals are quite ok(to me atleast) and there's no reason to hate on her.I get that your fav didn't get in the final lineup and ur fed up,me too when i was watching the live,when they were about to announce the top 2 i was waiting for Yurina and SXT to be called but then when bahiyyih was called i literally went into a state of shock,Chaehyun being 1 was kind of?expected bcuz of the interim rankings so i was a little baffled at the top 2 but at least SXT got to be in the lineup thank god.So in conclusion of my yapping,I can't tell you to love/hate this gurl bcuz imo liking a person is up to you yourself,unless she really doesn't do well during debut,then i will support this girl all the way wherever and whenever.
I was sad because Su Rui Qi been trying for way too long and she was not only played dirty last year in Chuang 2020, where every year, they debut 11 members, but that year they decided to debut only 7... she was 11th and would have debuted... and This year if not for Korean's more valuable votes, she would have been 7th... I have nothing against Bahiyyih, I was just sad with how unfair the voting system was towards mainly Chinese but slightly also Japanese trainees

It’s sad but jgroup and cgroup contestants were basically fillers from round votes 1-3, HOWEVER, when it is individual voting, many fans were finally able to vote for their favourite member and as a result you can see the fans love Korean contestants more. And yes, Hiyyih fancams always show her popularity and dedicated fanbase despite her screen time but I always said to people that screen time doesn’t necessarily say you’ll debute but people just decided to say that idk anything well now today, they can see that it is the case, ranking has changed, it’s a surprise because we were use to seeing such contestants constantly being in such ranks but then it’s not surprising if you actually did the calculations and analytics
If you followed the other Korean survival programs, there's always a difference in the final lineup ranking because of the individual member votes (can only select one person) and yes 50% of the votes will be counted from the Korean voters, so most of the Korean made it to the final lineup.
And about Bahiyyih, she has always been popular as personal single pick by international fans.
She's my favorite too... Since the day one.

No she doesnt...? Vote count was actually close with top 5-6 trainees when it comes to vote count, its just that some of them were Chinese/Japanese and korean won't vote for them... Su Ruiqi and Fu Yaning would have both been in thegroup if each vote was equal and Kim da yeon got really small amount of votes, I think she is only 13th or 14th with vote count, but she got most of her votes from Koreans so because of the Korean vote mulriplier she jumps to 4th... that's what mean when I say that the voting system was shit, because somebody was getting easy way in because of korean votes, at the time of recording I thought its Bahiiyih at Chaehyun, but both of them would have been in the group regardles, even though chaehyun would have been 9th and not 1st
Bahiyyih got almost 0 screentime during this show. Less than 1 minute of screentime every episode over 3 months of filming and the sooo many hours of screening. So her personality and improvement throughout the show could not be seen, similarly to mashiro who we also barely formed a connection with. Because if reasons like this and because only bahiyyih fans voted for her, her rank was never top 9, but she was always placed high at around #12.

mashiro barely showed up on the straykids survival show but I guess that may have been enough for people to know who she was and she could show her talent. The power of JYP trainee.
And you're right bahiyyih didn't do anything prior but her promo video went VERY viral in Korea and internationally so she got a lot of fans from there and when you watch the fancams of bahiyyih performance you can see she was really talented and people fell in love with her caring attitude I.e. in the first elimination where she told everyone to congratulate and be happy for yujin instead of criticising her rank. It frustrated soooo many people that mnet was discarding her and editing her out of the show. Therefore she was able to build a very solid and diehard fanbase since no one else was on bahiyyih side compared to other big trainees in top9 who received a lot of overall support from variety of voters.
Idk if this affected her vote during the 2nd elimination, but at the time I-land had just announced their 2nd season and a lot of hiyyihlights started boycotting gp999 because of their bahi treatment and they wanted her to go to that show instead. And you can see this co-incided with her rank dropping. The previous voting system definitely didn't work in her favour however the one pick vote basically guaranteed her debut since she was the most popular trainee overall.

Some people are saying rigged and vote manipulation but I believe the SK court system is watching all Mnet shows and they were required to use a third party (in this case the Universe app company) to track and tally the votes so rigging and manipulation could not be done. However, I do know they definitely used power of persuasion to influence others and I think the double vote also impacted the vote significantly.

I believe there is no manipulation in the GP999 vote results, especially as Mnet has received much public attention because of the rigged and manipulation incident for all the Produces series,.

One thing you didn't know that is Shen Xiaoting's rank dropped to 16th place during interim ranking before the Final. And also the voting system has changed to 1 pick system. Bahiyyih has the strongest fanbase when it comes to 1 pick voting system. She ranked #1 in 115 countries in the final and was #1 globally. Bahiyyih's interim rank was 5th place before the Final. So she jumped 3 spots in the Final. There's no surprise for this Final Line Up. We expected this kind of line up when Mnet announced the voting will be 1 pick system.

It’s actually fair both of the top 2 have the biggest fandoms, I’m part of Kim Chaehyun fandom, we had help from MY’s ( Aespa fandom ) and with the Chinese NCT dream fan base. We streamed and voted for them in the music shows in exchange of them voting on the app for us. A fairly exchange, our fan base is really big and with their help we definitely did it. Of course Chaehyun is the pick of the Korean public but yah. All the positions are fair, the sistem was being controlled by the police, they did not wanted another Unfair Survival Show

The live votes counted 2 times as much as the prevote. Bahiyyih got 1st place in 115 countries. This is because double votes. The lowest Bahiyyih was in voting ranks was 14th (I think) in the third elimination.
Edit: I’ve seen a lot of negative about Su Rui Qi about some less than great comments she made. There were many Koreans saying the group would flop if Fu Yaning or Su Rui Qi made the group because of image issues.

And some of the girls who would have been eliminated were saved due to the “benefit” from the creation mission.

I keep hearing the term Bahyyiyh has a solid fan base. I don't disagree, it's abundantly clear lot of people voted for her. I guess my question is how did she get this fan base. Did she release songs prior, was she on another survival show. Did the fan base grow organically from THIS show? How do people get to know her this show (as in be P2), if she barely got much screen time from MNET.
I've no issue if people voted for her. At the end of the day, your vote is your vote, no one can take that away. But if it is because of her brother; at least be honest with it. I also hope that after this group debuts, her fans will continue to support this group; and not just drop them because the competition is over.

When you have such a polarizing figure (you either hate her or love her) people who watch the show are recommended GP999 stuff on all their socials. And then they see her fancams or her group or posts about her as a result and see all the hate she gets/was getting at the time. They then wanna know why and wanna see why people are always bashing this specific person. This amount of hate usually comes after a MAJOR scandal where someone did or said something horrible and that’s what people expected to find. But they found nothing. Just that it happened she had a brother who they knew about but didn’t stan or listen to. They didn’t see a justified reason for people hating her during the show and they saw that MNet was giving her absolutely nothing. People love to root for an underdog so because of the immense amount of haters, people jumped on board to protect her from those haters. That caused more hate because she was receiving more attention that they perceived as being from her brother even though it was from her being hated, and that caused more protective fans. That’s where 65% of her fan base lies. Anybody I know who likes her doesn’t listen to TXT or even know that Kai is under BigHit. They felt horrible for this 17 year old minor who was being bashed for circumstances out of her control and saw she had a good amount talent and a sweet personality. So they jumped on board for her.
this can be easily answered, she got the initial hype from her brother which is true and it’s not a bad thing because people knew of her and had their eye out for her. People are not being her fan because of her brother but only when her first fancam came out i suddenly saw a rise of fan pages and fans. you can see in every fancam she gets lots of views and this is where she gets her fans from. Some people who don’t even watch the show click on the videos because of it being recommended. Then also the fan meeting, afterwards there were more korean votes i noticed which means she must of won them over in the fan meeting. Then you also have to remember her name is very well known and when you go into the universe app she is always at the top for klaps so i assume that also boosted her popularity from people seeing her there. She’s also in general a really likeable person and since mnet tried to hide her so much many people realised and it made them want to like her more. The biggest factor is probably that her fans know how competitions like this work. Many of them are previous produce watchers and know how to vote and promote her. Once there is a big amount of fans it’s easier to get bigger and bigger and that’s what happened for her. If people really didn’t like her and it was just for their brother i feel like their would’ve gotten bored and just stopped if they really saw no potential and interest in her.

I personally discovered her because of Kai but I followed her and voted for her because I like the underdogs and I hated people that bullied her. She has a strong one pick fandom which is what carried her. Also the more people hated on Bahiyyih the more fans she gained and the harder we Hiyyihlights voted. So if you guys are upset about Hiyyih then blame the haters because they were our motivation to get her in top nine. Huening Bahiyyih got a lot of voting boost, as she was no 5 in the interim rank and now she is no 2 in the final result. Congrats to both of them.
8:17 Among the C contestant, Shu Rui Qi is my C number 1. She has a cheerful personality and she can get well with everybody. She was ranked 9 during the interim result, but I am sad that suddenly her rank dropped out of the top 11 in the final result. It was a huge drop. What were her voters doing? 9:24 I also fell in Love with Bora. Aside from her vocal ability, she has an excellent Leader personality among the 18 girls. I think bahiyyih got many votes BC of not only her singing/dancing skills but also for her personality/vibe I love her and I think she deserved to take place in the debut group, I do agree that being 2nd place is a bit high but still I am very happy for her and the line up was great just Kim boraaa should have been there 😭😭😭

Im sooo annoyed for being called as a txt fan all the time. Like btch i did not create a fan account on social medias and 10 accounts on universe for txt tf. Because some fans like us hiyyihlights vote yurina and xiaoting as filler for bahiyyih. Same as the other fans so when the last voting is just one. Most of hiyyihlights priorities to vote her every single day. And when the interim check bahiyyih rank 5 so biyyihlights took that as motivation to vote even more. And lets be honest. Most of the knetz don't want another race to become center. And this isn't rigged because hiyyih is the living proof. The amount of mistreatment she gets on mnet is so high that you can only see her each episode having seconds to 1 minutes screen time. And lastly most of their fans felt relax because they thought their picks are safe not knowing everyone are not safe.. i just hate to see bahiyyih getting hate because she P02 she deserved that as much as the other trainee. Hope the fans see that. And hoping for the e worded trainee to debut soon. I am sure many companies will scout them because the top 18 are all worthy to debut.

This was not worth the sweat and mistreatment the C girls went through.
Su Ruiqi had her confidence and light sucked out of her.
Fu Yaning and Cai Bing had their reputations smeared, and their abilities doubted.
Cai Bing is actually really good at dancing, and there's this one clip on RUclips from another show she attended where it shows how she can basically just watch the instructor dance and dance synchronously with them, without even taking that much time to learn it.
I'm extra pissed about Fu Yaning, because not only is she a very good person, she's also a highly capable trainee (she's a vocal major who graduated from a pretty prestigious Chinese university).
Even Wang Yale, a literal music major from a good university, was edited into an incapable person.
J girls got no voting time, or time to really even show off their abilities.
Mashiro and Hikaru are capable sweethearts and I love them, but they should have ranked higher. 7th and 8th??? Are you kidding me?
Yurina didn't even fucking make it.
Kim Bora, the only K girl who should have 100% made it based off of her abilities, and also the best vocal remaining on the show, did not make it.
And it's not even just because of the lack of filler voting.
If you actually look at the global voting numbers, you'll get this:

I was agreeing to everything u said but about the last sentence, it's still wrong. Don't normalize rigging please. I'm sure u've heard of x1's and iz*one's rigging scandal, and the price they had to pay was very very huge. X1 immediately disbanded, without a chance to bid goodbye to their fans. And IZ*ONE had to endure months long of hiatus to let this scandal dim down. It's very risky and it's not worth it in the long run. Even after IZ*ONE returned, they were already perceived as the RIGGED GROUP by antis and the general public, not to mention toxic kpop stans who really wants izone gone since their PD48 pick got swapped by other trainees.
Dayeon is 13th based on total votes.
The voting system was what ruined all of this. Bahiyiih being on top 1 if ever is a bit nah, but we can easily move on to it if only the top 9 is based on total votes and not that voting system. We loss 2 of the greatest C Trainees of the show,and it's sad to know that we loss them just because of the voting system and not because us, international fans lacks votes. Because we cannot do anything on Korean vote percentage.

Well it's more suspicious that she didn't ranked within the 9 early in the competition. Probably the voters had to choose 2 other girls to get their vote in for Bahiyyih but when the voting system changed to 1 pick who would they vote? Also, based on history of K-pop, support from international fans wouldn't assure success on their careers. Most of the acts are big in the world because they were supported locally.

I am a bit disappointed in your reaction to Bahiyyih. I understand you are not coming from a negative stance with your response; however, please keep in mind people did vote her in. I will not tell you to love her or give her a chance (not based on your reaction), but I want you to be mindful when you make these reaction videos because you did the same thing with Patrick making the debut group in the finale of Chuang 2021. I know you do not mean it to be malicious, and you are trying to be organic with your reaction however, it is a slap to those who did vote for the girl who is getting a lot of hate and criticism.
I am not a Bahiyyih stan, and I understand that people are shocked at how she ranked 2 when Mnet did not focus on her other than that snippet about her being HK's younger sister and snippets here and there. I was appalled at the top 2 candidates being announced. However, it is MNET that is at fault for the voting system and needs to be clarified. They are at fault for really creating a broken system, and we did not see that until the finale. Those who voted for the trainees did so because of their own choice, and no one should be faulted for voting or supporting their respected trainee. For disappointed people, please let this be the lesson (take it from someone who watched the 4 seasons of Produce); never 'assume' your trainee is "safe" until that finishing line. That is where the mistake is, and there's a reason why in the end, Mnet kept mentioning 50% Korean votes and 50% International votes. There was no fixed ratio therefore no one is safe, if anyone watched Produce 48 they know that the final line up consisted of 3 Japanese girls from the 48 group and 9 Korean trainees.
Patrick was something completely different... in chuang 2020 it wasn't about him at all, it was about the rank he was at, because if I wanted both Oscar and Liu Zhang, one of them had to be announced then... I never was sad that Patrick debuted, but people thought of it because I wasn't jumping and shouting when he was announced, I was sad that I realized not both Oscar and Liu Zhang gonna debut.... While here "issue" is that mnet tried their best to have as many koreans in the group as possible and were clearly showing bias towards trainees with editing and voting system.... I have nothing against Bahiyyih, but if voting stayed as it was before, she wouldn't have debut and also how am I supposed to be excited about her or Chae Hyun in the group, when neither of them got to show their personality in the show and got barely any screen time... yeah they are popular, but I know nothing about them after watching 25 hours of the show

Also a lot of international fans voted for their Korean one-pick as well. (I did cause Young Eun is my bias and she deserved to debut in this group.) Xiaoting and Yurina were my Chinese and Japanese top pick but I couldn't vote for them because I really wanted my bias to debut.
