Thanks Charles. It's been almost a year now, and the lamps still look great. (I relocated them to the backyard since then, and got a different style for the front yard.) No dead lamps. No sun fading. No moisture buildup. (That's all great, but still annoyed I had to do this at all, of course)
I did this. Was a chore. Sadly they lasted a month before they started acting wonky, not working or only turning on a certain color. Ended up trashing it all. HUE replaced all my yellow bollards so we will go with that until a new solution comes to market.

I am sorry this didn't work for you @kristophersteel - what happened? Did water get in?
