    Absolutely beautiful work! And a great video too! Can you tell me how you got the bottom of the cats paws to look like pads?

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  3 года назад

      The black cat? On that one I made clay paw pads from polymer clay. On many of my others they were just sculpted from wool.

    These are fantastic! When the finished product sits on a shelf, how do you prevent it collecting dust? Can they be cleaned?

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  3 года назад

      They probably cannot be easily cleaned. They would be best in a glass cabinet.

    Hi! Your Work is AMAZING!! I'm SO Envious, but this Video was Helpful!
    Quick Question: Where did Buy the Sloth Claws & the Cat/Dog Toe Beans & Foot Pads?? They're such a Realistic Touch!!! I Figured I'd ask bc I wouldn't even know where to begin w/ the Wording, in Order to Find these Things. Thank you so much in Advance! Take Care! - Erin

    Omg I'm so happy found your channel! I've been planning to get into needle felting for some time now and my end goal is to be able to make realistic felt dolls of my cats! I'd love to see a tutorial on how you made the black cats someday - I'm going to be following your other tutorials first though, they seem more doable for a beginner like me XD!

    I am Colombian I love your work and I want to start learning please could you tell me what those wools are called please

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  2 года назад

      Perhaps the best way might be to have a look at one of my full length tutorials here on my channel. In the video descriptions (if you click on the little arrow to fully expand the text of the video description) there will be links that take you directly to some of the exact wools I use in my projects.
      But in general, I use "core wool" for the main shape of the sculpture, dyed "wool batt" for the rest of the sculpting and details, and "wool roving" anywhere I need long hair or fur on a sculpture. Hope this helps! Best of luck! 😊

    are those glass eyes / and do you felt them in ?

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  3 года назад

      Some are glass cabochons, some are acrylic safety eyes. I glue them in and felt wool eyelids over/around the eyes.

      I get them from various places, primarily on Esty. But in most of my tutorials I include links to the products I used. You have to click on the video description to expand it to see all of the information. Hope that helps!

      I heard someone say the use polymer clay to make their noses. I’ve seen others felt them and then paint them to look more realistic.

    • @238Tina1
      @238Tina1 5 лет назад +1

      I would make the nose out of polymer clay and seal it with a varnish. And the eyes are custom glass eyes or flat back glass cabachons. From the looks of it atleast!! I hope this helps someone.

    • @sonofhibbs4425
      @sonofhibbs4425 4 года назад

      Typically the artist sculpts them themselves. Sometimes you can find parts at taxidermy stores.
